Now abeg get lost from my mentions! clap for urself, u have bashed or tried to bash someone, I can imagine ur head swell as u type those words and clicked submit, I pity ur kind, if u want someone to respect your opinion you should do well to respect that of others, u want Nigeria he wants Biafra without the minority tribe and he stated his reasons, it his opinion it up to u to either convince him or stay mute, must you pull his tribe into ur lame argument. |

if it were up to me ooo when I hear Nigeria, the only picture that comes to my mind is southern part of it, the far north is like another country to me, and as for true federalism and that which is needed is 2/3 of the national assembly I think the south and the middle belt are on the same page. I might be wrong.we just have to go back to regionalism in that way we can easily diversify our economy with it region trying to make it resources count. all region will benefit, middle belt has coal, tin, limestone, iron ore education and food crop, south east has oil,gas coal, led, palm produce, limestone, white clay education etc, south west has crude oil, bitumen, cocoa, limestone, timber, education (can't remember the rest u can add yours) North east has I think gold, oil(not sure), etc, north west uhmm (u guys can help me with that). so regionalism is the way to achieve diversification quicker, oh not forgetting the south south oil and gas can't remember any. |

BossKratos: Are you a south korean? Or an iranian? Why are you going off point? You are obviously an immature liittle runt that is why you have delved into the realm of hypothesis instead of focusing on the VALID POINTS I gave your fellow igbo man!
Now listen boy, the fact that your igbo people have not made any political headway of note since after the war is due to whose incompetence? "Gwari and benue" politicians are to blame I guess? Not your self centered igwes or political elites that are experts in pocket preservation!
The fact that your region suffers from superb environmental degredation, filth, erosion and crime is whose fault? Maybe it was "yorubas and hausas" that refused to use your states allocations, and constituency allowances for development abi?
See you crying about human flux! Who will you expect to "flux" into biafra sef? If not a tiny minority with ties to the region! Is it the same "hausas and yorubas etc" that you hate so much and would be glad to have left behind in the "zoo"! A nation like naija that plays politics of bitterness? You don't even want to imagine the sort of frustration that the government will ensure your biafra passes through to even get the most basic of necessities from naija!
Will the economic, political and social crimes that your elites have connived to have committed against the youth of your region such as yourself disappear overnight if you get biafra? Or would they get worse? People like you would even have less of a say in biafra matters since you have no financial or political leverage to barter with!
I'm sure your brain has started itching you right? Yes! He truth is not only bitter, it ITCHES too! Mr. man why are u deviating from the topic and trying to bring tribalism into this thread, can't he air his dreams or aspiration, what do u stand to gain from tribal e-war, what I can denote aside from your trying to blow the fire of e-tribal war here is that, you think that if Biafra were to happen today then the Igbo will go cap in hand begging other nation for alms. I just pity those around you cause at the rate yo going the fire of hate will soon consume you. everyone ignore this guy. |

SemuhleB: You are generalising when you say why do black people in africa. Not all black people in africa are tribalistic. For example in south african we see all blacks as equal and hence it won't be hard finding a zulu married to a sotho, pedi etc. I have noticed that its more common with nigerians the tribe issue. well it simple when u marry ur tribesman or woman u maintain tradition, with tradition u uphold ur culture with your culture preserve ur language. Africa is at the top of the pedestal of continent, whose indigenous language is going extinct.and it going and it going super fast. |

kikake: Which south are you encouraging to come together to fight the hydra head of Arewa?
Southwest of Nigeria has been subsumed by the Sokoto Caliphate. Because since 1999, southwest has been led by politicians who look forward to the Sokoto Caliphate for directions. The religion of the Sokoto Caliphate has accepted more than ever by the average Yoruba since 1999. Politics and the religion of the Sokoto Caliphate go hand in hand.
The SS and SE have to struggle for their liberty. indeed that what u think, BT the south need to Unity the south is on the losing side I mean. sheath ur swords and push this common enemy and intimidation for the north back word, when the president said Nigerias unity is non negotiable, the reaction from afenifere and ijaw made my heart swell with joy. atimes I think over literacy is part of the problem. |
Politics › Re: Senior Police Officers Protest At Force Headquarters Over Lopsided Postings by OMAR12: 6:33pm On Jul 12, 2016 |
I think it high time the south, put aside their difference and fight this hydraheaded monster, the south is the most peaceful region of the two and we can do without the north, I mean this is only going on because the south is two divided against itself and concerned about who is superior to whom, it high time the south unite. we have diplomats for the West, we have economist from the East and brave Military might from the South. what we lack is Unity, there is enough resources in the south, like take for example there is enough coal in Enugu to power nigeria for more that 400years not to talk of Southern Nigeria, we can never short change each other for we don't have that born to rule mentality display by a section of the north. The West is diplomatic and will give to you what ever they receive from You. if u support this hit LIKE. |
Politics › Re: Joe Igbokwe: Igbo Ethnic Bigotry And Hate Campaign Worry Me by OMAR12: 2:20pm On Jul 12, 2016 |
aressssa: Joe said the same thing about your hateful ways last year, the year before last and so on, it is up to you to prove him wrong by stating exactly what you've gained by hating and spewing bigotry as a way of engagement with the rest of Nigeria, also explain what you've gained from your political association with the PDP since 1999.
Fact is, you dwell too much on hate and bigotry that it's all you see and know, it's your only trading coin, it's what you've distracted yourself with and exactly why you are so out of the loop in Nigeria.
Your hatred shed the first blood in Nigeria and destroyed our peaceful existence right from independence and it continues till today.
And it's not only against hausa and Yoruba people, it's against other people beyond Nigeria even all the way in SA and this is why people can not stand you everywhere you go..
Joe is not saying anything new, hes basically repeating what we all know.
Even Achebe hated and spewed hate till his last breath into his grave with his hate book.
Change or remain doomed forever. so because Achebe refused honored any of the national award it means hate, because the majority of the Igbos don't agree with u it means hate. only he who wear the shoe knows were it pinches him, u can never understand what it means to loose ur kit and kin. Achebe experienced the war if he is bitter toward Nigeria it not without a reason. |

Earth2Metahuman: 1, you guys could boycott anything Nigeria.. No one is gonna ask you why you guys did that. 2, you guys can stay away from Nigeria governance 3, call your senators home 4, move en masse back to iboland. Then go to world court and ask for refredum. These are the easiest ways of achieving your dream utopia without blood shed. No one is gonna declare war for doing those.
No one is gonna take you serious if you hide under one slum in Lagos and be spreading hate. were all these u just said don by the Scottish before they were allowed to vote via referendum or the catalonian's?. the last the igbo's did, who brought war to whose's doorstep. u can never make sense by being a sentimental critic of what people believe in. |
Politics › Re: Joe Igbokwe: Igbo Ethnic Bigotry And Hate Campaign Worry Me by OMAR12: 11:31am On Jul 12, 2016 |
Earth2Metahuman: and you think spreading hate is the only yo gain independent? Are the Scottish spreading hate against england? Are catalonians spreading hate against the Spain? Did Britain spread hate before they exit EU? Nobody is holding ibos anymore.. This is not 1967.
If you don't want Nigeria anymore, there are lots of sane ways of doing that not by spreading hate that would lead to chaos. how will u know, are u in Spain or are u in Britain, there are a lot of sane ways, hasn't there been a clamour for refferadum, what are the sane way, or are they to go cap in hand or pleases other tribe to let them go, ojukwu never took the war to Nigeria rather he defended his land and people, there was little time to speak to other minority tribes in the then eastern region. the igbos in the eastern region had one voice cos of the violence metted on them by the north were 30,000 were killed, I mean who wouldn't want to leave such union, if it were to be the Yoruba I swear they would have done the same, u never know how it hurts until such happens to you. so I won't blame most of you guys saying Igbo hate this and Igbo hate that, I only pray that such violence that the igbos has seen in Nigeria never come to your doorstep. there much difference between a man that has seen much sorrow and that who hasn't. |
Politics › Re: Joe Igbokwe: Igbo Ethnic Bigotry And Hate Campaign Worry Me by OMAR12: 10:53am On Jul 12, 2016 |
Truly1: This is a nice treatise by John Ugbokwe. The Igbos should stop this their antagonistic approach to national issues and start seeing themselves as part and parcel of indivisible Nigeria. It is only then that other parts of the country can entrust them with power in future, they should henceforth stop their hate speech against other tribes and embrace sincere spirit of brotherhood and love. They should equally remember that the Yorubas have sacrificed a lot for them unless they have forgotten how the late Col. Adekunle Fajuyi - a Yoruba son, laid his life for their son late Gen Aguiy Ironsi! - and what of late Col. Banjo who even fought on the side of Biafra during the civil war and even right now some Igbos are holding political appointments in Lagos State, a Yoruba State, is this possible in Ibo land and I say capital NO.! Love him or hate him, Joe Igbokwe has spoken to his people and he has spoken well and its left for his people to hearken to his clarion call! as no single tribe can hold the nation to ransom. let me tell those of you say that the Igbo hold political positions in Lagos and if it can be reciprocated in the east, I will tell you yes under one condition, that is if the Yoruba population in any eastern state is up to 3 or 2 million, Lagos has a population of 19-20million, igbos in Lagos are 4 to 5 million, the area that is being represented by an igboman have many igbo residing there. so you saying that yorubas can not hold any position is Igbo,I see it as you trying to bring the igbos down. |
