Oh please!! All those set free were innocent people. The governor should find something else to engage himself in. |
The team, according to the US Mission in Nigeria “discussed ongoing violence, the importance of allowing citizens to peacefully demonstrate, and accountability and justice for victims.”For a country like Nigeria, if we are being sincere with ourselves, we would admit the government has shown SERIOUS RESTRAINT in handling this crisis. Meanwhile, here's trump's declaration of his allowance of "peaceful protests".

In the final analysis, WHAT EXACTLY HAVE WE GAINED FROM THE EVENTS OF THE PAST TWO WEEKS? Have we gained more than we have lost of is the reverse the case? The protesters messed a great opportunity up by failing to recognize when the fruits were ripe. They didn't harvest and let the fruits rot on the tree. Their online supporters thought *having no clear leadership in the protests* was a good thing, alas, that was their greatest undoing. It was only a matter of time before criminals took over, and they did. Now we are where we are today. When are we ever gonna get this sort of opportunity to come together enmass and speak to power? When? Would these businessmen and their families and extended families lend their voices? Wouldn't they rather be skeptical calling for another protest is simply calling for a smokescreen to re-loot and vandalize their businesses? Oh, Nigerians! |
hammêrP:Imagine the trash coming out of one's head. Gosh! ![]() |
Sunsets:People honestly don't know how big Kanu and ipob is indeed. By my side the other day, Obama said Nnamdi Kanu is hos leader. Kanu is a great man. |
gidgiddy:It is there on his official Facebook page. Your beloved Wike just called you and your IPOB comrades CRIMINALS. What do you have to say about it jobless boy? |
Was this same wizkid not the one that rained curses on one other artist for daring to talk about music during unrest? People hailed him and all that, and he took a real shine home. What makes him different from that person he insulted a week ago? |
Pecuman:I wasnt raised in the gutter. I won't let you drag me down there. I'm better than that. Bye. |
Ravern:Which means people left their homes and never made it back home. We've neither seen relatives or neighbors come out to report missing persons. Were the tens of dead people living in total isolation? Did they fall from the sky and have no relatives or neighbors? How exactly can one explain such anomaly? |
Acidosis:Finally, someone with a brain!!!!!!!!!! God bless you. I've screamed countless number of times for us to condemn ALL FORMS OF CRIMINAL ACTS, not just on the part of Government, but citizens as well. Looting, IN ALL FORMS, is a criminal act. They were encouraged and emboldened by the applause they revieved for looting palliatives, now, they're back home to roost. So so unfortunate. |
maiquel:Please can someone help me explain how a bullet of that calibre with its shell casing still intact, penetrate flesh. I'm interested in gaining more knowledge. |
maiquel:Typical. Wasn't brought up in the gutter. Won't descend to your level. Bye. |
The op gave a very clear and compelling explanation as to why one should doubt the account of the events by the DJ. Sadly, as usual, when faced with superior argument, all most of these pdp supporters do is throw tantrums, curse and insult. Not a single line of what the op wrote could they fault with valid reasons. |
Hedonisco:Ahn ahn!! No naw. Recovery of the stolen items and their prosecution should suffice. |
pocohantas:You and Ishilove will always have my respect. More than SARS, misinformation, half truths, deception, deceit, and fake news could cost dearly. The proponents of the ongoing carnage want to coerce or blackmail those who dare to separate substance from chaff into towing their own tunnel path. Sadly, I'm hardly ever swayed by those flimsy emotional blackmail. Imagine someone coming here to say no harm has really been done as whatever property that has been destroyed by the "protesters" can always be rebuilt and gave an instance of the WTC which was bombed on 9/11. As the same fella if he would encourage samenin his state or region knowing whatever they destroy can can rebuilt and you'd get an endless tirade that hardly answers the simple. |
emperor863:Go back on the timeline of the boy you quoted and you'd regret even quoting him. He's one of those being led by the nose by Kanu and is super excited seeing such wanton destruction of the West. |
Kyase:Forget that boy. He is one of those kids brainwashed by Kanu's doctrine and he is super excited seeing such pictures coming out of South West. Do you see the other one called hammer? They're the same. That is why you see him saying Yorubas should forget about the destruction, that properties can always be replaced, posting before and after picture of the WTC. Now, ask them, would they endorse similar destruction in the South East knowing whatever is destroyed can be rebuilt? Ask him. |
HAccord:Maybe yours would come when you try to test drive the coffin you're trying to sell to unsuspecting people as a car. Who knows? We're only human. ![]() |
BENARI:Dear Yorubas, know who thine enemies are. For everyone applauding and encouraging destruction of any form in the South West, look back to the posts they've made in the past and you wont be disappointed at their identity.
|
Juliusmalema:Oh, so because they burned a police station in the East you people are now realizing it is senseless. But you were the same people encouraging the mob to burn everything down in Lagos. You guys are such interesting species. |
donphilopus:They are settlers and Lagos and are encouraging people to destroy Lagos. Did you see them as excited as they get on every Lagos or Ogun thread on the Abia secretariat thread? Of course they wouldn't be. Only South West deserves to burn. I pity all those brothers of yours who cant see the handwriting on the wall. Ipob on their own have transformed that their one time *Turkish Ambassador* into "the President of Turkey". We live in very interesting times where the President of Turkey displays Biafra flag in his office.
|
GreyLaw:Oga shut up abeg. The man has done well. All you pdp hecklings will never be pleased by anything he does after all. Shouting behind keypads. Nonsense. |
Jack005:Good comment. |
seunmsg:Jack005 asked a very valid question two comments above yours. If what he says happens, what would be the response of the government? I don't think the call was a good call by the governor. |
On this one, I'd support full time. The protesters are busy expending precious opportunity on making flimsy demands and taking stupid photos as though it is just some fanfare carnival. Look at our roads. Look at the kind of life our public officials, ministers and governors, including the president himself, are living. Look at our public schools especially those run by the state governments. Look at the disparity between the income of the haves and have nots. Look at our public healthcare system. Absolutely nothing is where it should be in this country, yet we keep shouting EndSars. Our problems are too humongous to be whittled down to just a demand about SARS. This is my greatest problem, but people feel when I post here, I'm against the protests. I simply feel hurt a great opportunity is being wasted away. |
amarachi06:But El Rufai is responsible for everything that happens in Kaduna. You people are amazing!! Y'all should stop hiding behind a fig leaf already- everything in Nigeria is politics and tribalistic. Don't be ashamed of admitting it. You people wake up everyday to blame Tinubu for everything that has gone wrong or is going wrong in the West, someone not holding any public office. But one cant blame Obi for anything. Amazing people. |
CilicMarin:Too predictable. Such a pity. On what grounds exactly are they then demanding APC gives them their presidential ticket? How does this make any sense? |
So the story about Dave decamping is true. Thought it was an online gossip. Watch how the best performing governor "in Nigeria" becomes the worst thing there ever was on earth in the eyes of pdp supporters. |
Eastlink:You think you're dealing with a kid here? See the way he used a feather to flog Obi, but if it was a Yoruba man, he'd use a horse whip with thorns on it. Yet he says "stop making it tribal". Look at a comment you made below: Eastlink:Why couldn't you use such strong language when talking about Obi, let me guess, because Obi is a Langtan man while you Igbo, right? Look ehn, we know these games. Stop thinking any one of you is smarter than anyone here. That we let things slide from time to time doesn't mean we dont know what's going on. When you use such words as used on Diya on Obi, then we can start talking. Say PETER OBI SUPERVISED THE SLAUGHTER OF IGBOS and should be brought to justice. Until such a time, keep your deceit to yourself. Bye.

So this attitude of mentioning Tinubu over incidences that occurred in the East transcends Nairaland!! How chilling! |
