I think what he is trying to say is that people who are not learned enough as to install their flash players themselves might miss seeing what your website has in stock. Another is the patience to wait for it to download then install the plugin before they can view your site. I hope I've stressed smartsoft's point a little further?

Why not provide more information for interested members? I don't think anyone seeking employment will be too happy with the way this job opportunity was presented here.

I don't think this will make me happy visiting if you won't be making it convenient for all to visit, surf and go again easily. That should be the first review for you. Make your website accessible to all.

Keep it up. Do more of learning now than trying to get commercial immediately. Too many works now will keep you off from learning as much as you'd wanted to. Don't ever stop your boundaries from increasing. Learn all you can, become unstoppable by any job then your $$$ rolls into your pocket.

There is something I think you should try add to your personality. You are just fresh in the industry and in the programming thing. There are still many things to be learnt out there. These I've said following your exhibitions here on the forum "as being a newbie". You just can't know and do it all just like that even if you claim. Anyone should quote me wrong if I'm wrong here. I think before you start doing or undertaking tasks, you should go in and do lots of home work and brace yourself up for the journey ahead. Forget that there are many scripts out there to help out. What about when there are bugs, what will you do? Post them here for people to help you debug?  

Just a little suggestion so don't take it so personal. You started well. Don't let the money-quick rather than learned thing put you off balance because it will not tell on you and others like you now but in the future, they'll see what I mean.

The yahoo thing is likely a problem from them. I think i tried doing something like uploading addresses stored in my messenger list into an address book. All others worked but that of yahoo never did. I had to make research and found out that Yahoo have simply stopped allowing such connections.

Why not be more specific with your plans on how the whole thing should go.

Ning is good and there are still more the poster could search and use. Google is there to help too.

If you want also, you can make a research and see if you can use some websites offering free dating websites. Sign up and get started creating your community web or social network as the case may be.

That list is just what the writer cares to put up based on his knowledge but the listing is not too good for my liking. Most if not all will be asking the same question as to if there are no developers even from the North or other parts of the country but the writer seems to have taken care of it by asking people to post others they know to be good.

But is there the need for this actually? What about directories, are they not good enough?

The starting point to this is first asking how good Nigerian Programmers collab with themselves. This is a starting point. Even after brainstorming on all the wonderful ideas, once there can't be a good team or partnership or communion, the whole thing is [b]NEVE[/b]R going to work out.

Their approach to work matters well I agree but how about this.

I learn a good approach to nailing down works but at the tail end, I'm not able to execute as I've preached. This doesn't make you a good programmer. I don't really know where to start talking about this whole thing. Reason being that even the difference between web templates and boiler plates took time to argue and at the end, nothing good came out of it. Differentiating a web programmer and designer is still a hot arguement. Talking about what makes a good web developer here will simple be attracting angry web designers to think they are web developers and what do you expect next?

Well, I think the starting point for this consideration should be understanding who actually a web developer is, qualities and all those little concepts about the name web developer. From that point, one could start asking any other questions.

Why not force a water mark on surface of the picture so that when copied, it will still remain as part of the picture. I think this should make it difficult for them to have the exact picture they require from your website or picture gallery.

The issue of having more pages is not really what counts but the content and mind you, it is easier to read up all posts on a thread with 3 pages than that with 50 pages. The whole thing becomes boring and the member will simply get to the next thread than go through longs threads and end up being confused and not delivering or posting anything.

It is better short and precise but with much meaningful content.

Good then. Let's hold on to it but still try to make the threads as clean as we can even if we are attacked or provoke. You can always counter in a more mature way.

The important thing is if members in here can keep the thread clean. I've observed that and others but the problem is before you have about 20 posts, a quarrel sets in and the topic for the thread is changed. If there is a change, then things in here will be more catchy as to appear on the home page.

I'm reading almost all happening in here so just keep doing your thing and I'll take note and things get better in here.

You should consider the cost of your designing. Check for a good and low-cost hosting company you like then tally up your bills and send across. I can't dictate what you should charge for your works.
