I've put this in the religion forum because it might just prove stuff to the non-believers on here Basically, after my dad died, I had a vivid dream of him. There were other stuff involved in the dream but the one thing that stuck out was a girl I once knew back in d days when I was living in Nigeria. I asked her what she was doing there and apparently, she had died after a botched abortion Ever since, I've been trying to locate the girl to see if she's still alive and if she is, to warn her against such but can't find her. Every now and then, the dream comes into my mind especially after I read the 'girl who went to hell's thread' on here today ![]() So, is there a directory of names or some such in Nigeria? Thank you. |
I'm racking my brain here and no favourite teacher springs to mind https://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/emb/t1822.gif |

Seems like having a child is no longer a valid reason for staying. This was in all today's papers http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-20035679 G4S used force on pregnant woman at Cedars centre A pregnant woman in a wheelchair was tipped up and had her feet held by staff as she was forcibly removed from the UK, inspectors have said. I don't know which country she was deported to. 'Unacceptable force' used by G4S staff deporting pregnant woman http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/oct/23/g4s-deportation-force-pregnant-woman?newsfeed=true |
I'm saying nuffink ![]() |
That's nonsense. She is not attending a white garment church. Her parents are. They will get married in a pentecostal church, not in Cherubim and her parents will attend the wedding. If she were attending the church, then that's another matter. I think the girl's had a lucky escape ojare (from your friend) ![]() |
If it was you would you listen to me (assume I was your close friend)?
I would listen to you - even if you were not my close friend ![]() |
I remember when as a teenager I was attending the Living Faith church. There was one a walk away from my home but I never went there. I attended the one far away which was livelier etc. I can see where you are coming from but I wasn't married at the time and yours is the SAME church - just different branches. Did your husband enjoy the far-away one also? Do you think the campus one will be lively when the students are back at school? |
pro01: My neighbour who's a nurse once told me that one loud-mouthed Yoruba woman cursed her child(?) for bringing her so much pain during labour - Ko ni da fun iya e, iwoo omo buruku yi. That's what she shouted angrily at her child. This is so sad and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, 'Because I bore him in pain.'Jabez had to pray very hard before the curse was broken. This baby will also have to pray hard ![]() |

Mini G: Your friend has a number of options; He said he'll let me know his plans when we meet tomorrow in church. I'll update this thread once I know more ![]() |
honeric01: 1,000 men or 10,000 men? maybe i am mixing up something here, who among them smote 10,000 men with a horn. That will be in Lord of the Rings ![]() |
honeric01: How was it possible for Samson to slay 10,000 people at once using a horn? who recorded the killings and why was the recorder not also dead? who took time to count the 10,000 dead people?I know he killed with the jawbone of an A...S...S.... Can't recall him killing with a horn though I'm off to work now so will search the scriptures later.15 Finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men. 16 Then Samson said, ‘With a donkey’s jawbone I have made donkeys of them. With a donkey’s jawbone I have killed a thousand men.’ 17 When he finished speaking, he threw away the jawbone; and the place was called Ramath Lehi. |

coogar: he'd better knock his partner up while he's at it......they would need to establish a family life here to stand a chance - as it is now, if he gets caught - he would be sorry for himself!I dunno. I think he's planning to do a marriage of convenience. He didn't say so in so many words ![]() |
I just asked him. He said they have no kids. I ran the asylum issue past him. He said he is looking into 'other things' which he will discuss with me when he next sees me in church ![]() |

Lady Winona. You need to keep on praying to release your marriage from bondage. God will help you in Jesus name Amen. |
Thank God for all the testimonies on here. They will be permanent in Jesus name Amen. If I begin to tell mine, there'll be cries of "fiction. Nollywood" and as I don't want to belittle them, I'll keep schtum for now ![]() |

The last church I was at, almost everybody left for the same reason .......... the pastor's wife was horrible Eventually, everybody left and they closed the church down. Shame though as the pastor was a nice man ![]() |
coogar: if i were him, i would back-date the year i arrived in the uk to 1997.....the home office would not have any proof that he hasn't been in the country since then! Not so easy over here. Even in your CV, if there's a year missing, they want to know what you were doing then (the nosey parkers ) |
