jnrremedy: Most believers today believe drinking alcohol is sinful(some even go to the extent of not torching the bottle). But biblically do u think drinking is a sin considering the fact that jesus christ turned water to wine (alcoholic wine).

There are bad eggs everywhere. When I was in the polytechnic, there was this guy who regularly called round to check on me, ask if I was ok etc etc. This supposed care suddenly changed to "I love you, I want to sleep with you" but I rebuffed his advances because he was ugly

I have my Search the Scriptures in my bag (3 year bible study course). When they start speaking the twi language in my husband's church , I take it out and do some Bible study so my time is not all wasted

I must say that I grew up in an aladura church and when I was a teenager, I was invited to Living Faith church. It was the first time I heard the word preached in such matter, in-depth and with fire. I left the church that day marvelling. I started attending Living Faith church in earnest. On Sundays, my family would turn left to the aladura church and I would carry on going to Living Faith I even attended WOFBI for the month's marathon programme.

One day, my mum came to my room when I was praying. She was literally begging me to quit Living Faith. I did not understand it at the time (but I do now).

"She couldn't continue her nocturnal activities whilst there was a prayerful Christian living under her roof"

However, this was before the private jets etc etc but I'm sure God is still working in Bishop Oyedepo's life

omonikiba: I told one of my close friends about it and she said she will inform her mum, up till now she hasn't told me abything about it and when I remind her she will give me excuses, so I stopped, but I notice she later stopped telling me things and our relationship without any misunderstanding has become sour.
