I used to work in belsize park too. The hospital smiley. Best Crepe's in London are in that little street van on Hampstead high road.

Went Go-Karting in Streatham once. And used the morrisons undecided
Tooting? Where's that?? grin

The Streatham Ice Rink is no longer there. Something large is being built on the site - don't know what - but it's causing congestion in that area. Morrisons is still there grin The Belsize Park hospital is not far from my work wink Do you know Balham? Tooting is not far from there.
Religion / Re: Is The Church Our Mental Institution? by OmoAlata(f): 11:14am On Jan 02, 2013
advocate666: In europe and other medically developped countries, psychologically unstable people go to good specialised mental institutions but no such advanced places exist in Nigeria. Instead what we have are churches full of unbalanced people. They stand, sit, kneel, murmur, shout, speak strange languages, dance, etc. The kind of behaviour would see in good psychiatric ward.
Then, they pay their pastor/psychologist and go home feeling happier. Just like unbalanced europeans after seeing their psychologists.
But the christians will tell you that they do not suffer from any mental problems, which begs the question: what then is wrong with christians?

My pastor regularly preaches that Christians are mad and our medication is Jesus grin

Some ppl might be adversely affected by fasting. Here is a list:

Diabetics
Heavily pregnant
Recovering from operations/illness
Sick with certain types of illnesses and on medication
Breastfeeding moms

Please feel free to add any to the list.

It's all commonsense really. I wouldn't fast if pregnant or breastfeeding, but other women probably could.

They were not balance cry.

You have still lost out on a boyfriend. You need to steal someone else boyfriend back. Also the person with your boyfriend now will need to lose him to another girl... who will lose him to another girl.... who will lose him to another girl.

This cycle will continue until you steal him back.... that is karma babes grin

T'was years ago. I'm happily married now. Friend and boyfriend split up. Friend's friend eventually dumped boyfriend. Boyfriend went on to meet someone else who dumped him. Ex-boyfriend is still single and languishing. I don't know where ex-friend is. All water under the bridge. If ex-friend, had not stolen ex-boyfriend, I wouldn't have met my wonderful hubby grin

Religion / Cele Members - What Does Sani Satani Mean? by OmoAlata(f): 1:22pm On Dec 31, 2012
I used to attend cele when I was younger and the adults use to say sani satani if they tripped, or a child fell down or for any reason. I had clearly forgotten this term until last week when something happened wink

I now need to know what it means. I can deduce from the satani that it means Satan so with logic, does the sani mean "Go away"; "Get lost" or what? And what is it's orgin? I googled but found nothing.

Thanks in advance.
