justwise: [/b] He was working until a couple of weeks ago when he had to leave his job abruptly. I don't know if he'll want to marry a lady for the purpose of 'papers'. I know him in the church and they preach against that there. Won't it be hypocrisy Anyway, I'll ask him more when/if I see him today. |

Logicboy03: (The West- America and Europe) do not mostly take it as a spiritual thing- it is done for fun and money making. Yet, Nigerian extreme christians would claim that it is "demonic" I always thought it was just for fun but not anymore. We don't worship satan in our house. Put that in your pipe and smoke it |

Logicboy03: I was visiting a friend in hospital (St George's), children's ward, when the police and social services came to visit one of the mums on the ward. She had broken her son's arm in a fit of rage which led to the boy being hospitalised. She was crying and saying over and over again, "He made me angry. I didn't mean to". She was white!!! 1 Like |

frosbel: I think snowball fighting is even worse as the snow fell most days that time - sometimes up to a month - and we'd be couped up indoors. Halloween is only one bladdie day in a year. The children will get over it. Lord have mercy |

Hello house, A friend confided in me a couple of days ago that he "has no papers". He said he had to run away from his job as the immigration were doing spot checks etc. He has been here 8 years. Things are now tight for him. Apart from returning to Nigeria, which he doesn't want to do, what are his chances? Prayers?? He has a wife here but I don't know if they are legally married or just co-habiting. I don't know if they have children. Thanks. |

Not everyone who travels out are in London. Some are in Plymouth or Essex or Portsmouth lol but it's easier to say, "Im in London" But I still think they have to travel in via Heathrow/Gatwick before getting to their final destination |

inurmind: My mum banned us from playing out in the snow when we were younger. We would be watching longingly at the other children all having snowball fights & building snowmen with our noses pressed to the windowpane. We're still here and still alive. It hasn't marred me in anyway. KMT |
