The sum must definitely exclude OBJ's loot if not Ribadu should tell us how much OBJ and Atiku stole? |
IBB supposedly killed Dele Giwa, but who killed Bola Ige? |
There was no AC when Funsho was may be thats the reason, after his death Life continues,ok may be one day they will find the killers |
PDP the Koko of Corruption. |
That it is his stock in trade, the emperor general |
This is one of OBJ's achievements, as the greatest leader Nigeria ever had, let Odeku comment on this, N300 Billion voted and stolen. |
I agreed with you guys, thanks for the facts, arguements/debate should be factual. I hope OBJ and his confused economic Advisers will read all these and may be present us with their own facts. |
I enjoy reading peoples' comment on this topic. Surely OBJ will be prosecuted. lets wait and see |
OBJ has planned this before, even though illegality was carried out in Ekiti in as much as their aim was noble, but they didnt follow the constitution ven though if they did Fayose wont be impeached anyway the scene is confusing, Our constitution is defective. OBJ just executed his plan as scheduled, anyway lets see what happened, its an irony to hear OBJ talking about upholding constitution when he has flagrantly abuse same so many times. lets see what happens. |
@Odeku I dont agree with your write up on Soyinka, Soyinka is one person who commands respect from many people both at home and abroad, where were you during Abacha days, what were your contributions then? I felt bad when I read your comments on him, I respect your views so much but not on Soyinka, we should respect whoever deserves it. I doubt if OBJ that you have been routing for command 10% respect that Soyinka commands from Nigerians, yet you rained insults on him, we should be a bit courteous ok. |
@Odeku I wonder what OBJ has given you to defend him so much anyway you should have your reasons. OBJ is super corrupt, Atiku is very corrupt they should both go to jail. |
EFCC is the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria, But the modus operandi is bad, if I were Nuru Ribadu, I will operate within the ambit of the law, I will obey court orders and I will treat suspect with human dignity. As the Chairman of EFCC, I will not talk much and I wont engage anyone verbally I will just do my job, and make sure crooks and criminals are rounded up and send to jail through due and normal process of law. |
The truth is that OBJ got the Ekitis into this mess, he imposed Fayose on them even when there are evidences that the guy is a fraud, even till now OBJ cant be exonerated from whats happening, he insisted MRS Deputy must be Governor, 2 bad, all I know is that the crook will be impeached soonest and Ekiti State will be good for it. |
Dr. Reuben Abati is my man anyday, this is good account of how NANS was destroyed by poverty ridden leadership, I think it all started in 1994. NANS was factionalised becuase of ideas, by govt agents among Nigerian students, it continued until year 2000 or so. Kudos must be given to some credible leaders of NANS especially Segun Okeowo, Segun Maiyegun and some Students Union leaders, Anti-sap protest was about the most successful which was coordinated by Maiyegun and other patriots. I respect these guys. It is disheartenning, having participated in NANS activities, became an excutive, was hounded, intimated, arrested, detained just becuase we fought bad governance to see the rot in NANS today. I was sad when I watched them on TV. some of us fought with all our mights, not minding what happened to our academics, I could recollect the treatment we got during Abacha days, simply because we supported NADECO. We really enjoyed it anyway and everyone that knew us that time still gave us the respect, Unionism or activism has been turned to money- making venuture, the first NANS President to use offcial car donated by Abacha was Dare Ogunlana, he was the first worse leader we had in NANS. They were the apostles of Abacha for life just like Hembe and co. I think the past leaders of NANS and right thinking student leaders must come together and hold a summit to safe NANS from further embarasment. |
INEC should use OPTION A4, its tested and trusted, its cheaper and fraud free. |
Adconline, Thanks for the write up, its an intellectual short master piece, what makes a man is what he has upstairs, this is best way to debate issues. I agree totally with u. Good point guy. |
Stanech, Have you forgotten many cases of disobedience of court orders by EFCC? I dont think its really the media, the truth is that EFCC acts atimes above the law which is not right. ok |
Ismael here you come again, There are many factors that can lead to rustication of students from an institution or simply put factors that leads to failure. Its not everyone that failed, that wasnt serious, some were faced with very harsh situations/conditions it may be health related problems, financial, family problems, it may be that some are not brilliant, some are brilliant but not serious. Dullards will always be dullards even if u subject them to the most conducive environment of learning, if you have a friend that was rusticated and later went to Uni and performed excellently then his problem wasnt that he was dull, check and find out his problem, you made the submission as if university is a dumping ground for dullards, I will repeat again, its not where you go or what you study that matters but personal development or what you have upstairs? your real person is d most important, everyone should strive to develop himself/herself, so you erred. |
Adconline, You are very correct, Botswana is the less corrupt country in the whole of africa and the gains are there, all you wrote is correct, I just dont understand why we need to deceive ourselves, must MTN come and build generators for us, it further shows the failure of this government, and when you talk of profitability of MTN, MTN is a fraud supported by these government, are they making money in SA as they are in Nigeria? reason, govt of SA is more responsive to the yearnings of the masses, anyway we learnt sometimes that they always do PR job to our public officers? One one day, one day e go better. |
whats d difference between "prevention" and "protection"? |
@stanech No indication that EFCC invited Kalus mother, at least Gov Kalu said it and no rebuttal from EFCC, so are u saying that a legitimate law enforcement agency of govt, should arrest people in a manner thats not different from armed robbery? not at all, all I said and am saying is that we should operate within the law, we shouldnt be crude about it. |
@marsujay, I cant agree less you are very right. Ride on pls |
@Afam Most of these supposedly "foreign Investors" are actually tourists, how many companies have they establsihed that improve Nigerian economy, Kudos to Donald Duke for Obudu Ranch Resort, most of them are tourists check this fact. What can you do when you dont have electricity lets be factual pls. |
Gnature, I have made my points whether you are agree is none of my business, your lasts views to me are myopic, I will refrain from further comment. I do know I have made my point, try and read what others have said after my last post, its either you are not here or u have benefited from OBJ, so if 200,000 are jobless and 10 are able to get, thats a good percentage of job creation? what disturbs OBJ from creating 50,000 jobs out of 200,000. Yuo took that stand becuase probably you are rich and have forgotten your past, or just that you decided to defend him, anyway its your view. |
I am in Abuja just like any other person, am not BIGB1, I dont even know him, if you say that you are being unfair to me, BIGBI is a supporter of IBB I am not, and can never be having fought his regime while in school through serious activism, I will betray what I stand for if I support the likes of IBB but it seems you dont understand me, one thing I have been advocating is objectivity, and I wont quarel you if you have opposing views to mine, we should be able to defend whatever we believe in, BIGB1 will have a reason for supporting whoever and you also will have a good reason for opposing, there should be no quarel about that. So it will be very wrong for you to insinuate that am BigB1 or we are lovers, I dont even know him, may be you should chat with me one of these days to know my person. Some Nairaland members have had a chat with me and I thank them for that. Try and get your facts right before making accusations, I am me and cant be any other person. ok |

Professor Pat Utomi is more than competent, I really want him or Chief Anyaonku but am sure they wont allow them. |
amm inviting you now |
Yes in a way, some other No, becuase EFCC is not INEC or SSS, they have no such power, the only way they can clear them is not to prosecute them if some of them are corrupt, Prosecution means disqualification ok. |
Thanks for d list, we will get them soon. |
@ Odeku Mike Adenuga is in UK, EFCC know, even if u are in Oshodi and they know your house, they will still declare you wanted to give it political colouring, its their stock in trade. when OBJ leaves EFCC will be great, it will be the kind of organization we all want |
@Odeku, I wouldnt know how he got the account number, but nothing is impossible, but thats the truth, am not saying Kalu is a criminal or not, I was just being factual without sentiments or being emotional, what I am saying is OBJ is not better and if you must deal with someone let it be under the ambit of the law. No jungle justice. I hope you got my point now. I expect OBJ in months time to have arrested and if possible jail all corrupt government officials, so that his journey to jail will be interesting. |
