In my case, which I think might probably be same with yours. Because of the size of the file. It was mail to the address of my friend that applied for me. And he wasn't aware of this.

The official waiting time for response from AITP is 31 days. I applied for mine sometime in Novemeber

I noticed from my gcms note , that primary office working on my application is London. So however I choose London, when I placed enquiry via webform. The reply I got about me sending my recent admission letter originated from Lagos.

Anyway,I also told them my address has changed from Lagos to Florida (US) But did upload my US F1 visa. Does it matter if I tell them I now have student visa to US and have started class in US, cos I still prefer to move to Canada.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Omonoba1981(f): 7:36pm On Jan 11, 2019
I have gotten mine, but doesn't make any sense. There is nothing in it that I can hold on.

My application was July 15 2018. I have sent several mail to accra/lagos and now to london.

I now got a reply saying, I can send the new admission letter, that I have differed my admission.

I landed safely and going via the Border agent was stress free and very easy. The Man was very nice, and when I told him I am from Nigeria, he said if I speak Yoruba, that he has always wanted to visit Nigeria.

Anyway on my way, will be in Miami 3pm latter today. Lets see what the border agent people have to say.

Lol you changed it to course by course? So now that you need document by document what will you use?
Upgrade/downgrade in case of document by document is a straight foward thing

For immigration purposes...it is document by document, otherwise you will just waste your money and time.
Yes, I know. But because I will definitely need the course by course. It better to do that and request for document by document afterward for the purpose of immigration.

And when you want a upgrade/ will I call it downgrade its easier and faster with from course by course to document by document

I'd advise you to Pend your evaluation with WES, use ICES, you would only need to ensure UI sends your certificate to them either through email or Courier or regular mail.
But I already made payment for WES and the UI verification part has been completed. Just wanted to be sure if the RN certificate will add any advantage to my Express Entry.

I also change the document by document to course by course instead. The reason is I might be using it for Nursing society in Canada.

Which certificat per se?
RN and other specialities would fly.
Yes RN, those guys are really trying to break my neck with the money they are requesting just for certificate verification.

NO transcript, just certificate. The cost is more that the money I use in requesting transcript in UI, Verification in UI and more

From the lady at abuja,verification 8750k, courier service 16500,
Others,which includes, internet, remita,bank commission, service charge and follow up, 8k
Breakdowns
Verification =8750
Courier charge to Canada= 16500
Remita =500
Internet charges =1k
Mecellanous= 2k
Service charge and follow up 25k

Would certificate from Nigeria Nursing council fly ??
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Omonoba1981(f): 9:31am On Sep 30, 2018
I am working on my WES. I have a 5years Bsc in Nursing and midwify from UI and also Nigeria Registered Nurse and midwify.

Its difficult verifying my certificate from the Nursing council of Nigeria. They are requesting a total of 40K to complete my verification.

I am of the opinion to leave that part out. If it doesnt add to my point, why then spend that much.

Seems no one here has idea about procedure for student that are applying for associate degree and what their chances are. And what are likely question to expect.

It is normally said on this thread that it is harder to get a visa when going for an associate degree but I believe you will get your visa as far as you present yourself well to the consular officer.

My resumption day was to be 27th August. flight ticket is quite expensive right now. And I am expecting my Canada visa application, as the US visa was a backup plan for me (Plan B). Plan A is Canada but still waiting for result (its almost 2 months I have been waiting)

Timotee:
Hmmm! This is a catch 22 situation. Deferring admission after visa approval is usually a tricky one as the status of your admission/registration is being monitored by SEVIS. The school is mandated to report to SEVIS if international students are registered or not. That being said, it is possible to defer on health grounds as long as there are valid claims to back it up and the school is also duly informed. You may still have lots of explaining to do still. The point for me though is that you are unsure when the Canadian visa will be ready or if you will get it. Note that the US and Canada share immigration database and your US visa is visible to the Canadian authorities. If I were in your shoes, I will take the bird at hand and go to the US. If the Canadian visa works out, you can easily relocate to Canada from the US. That's my opinion, though.
Thanks Timotee, for your response. The issue I have right now, is it will be kind of expensive if I have to pay the school fees for US college. While I already had 1 year tuition deposit in a Canadian College.
