This is a bit funny. Shouting from a writing tone? Even me got confuse at a point, I am not a him.

I am a very bad English writer then, if you can deduce I shout from the tone of my reply. I went back read through over.

Never knew, one can use once writing to shout without adding common exclamation s.

Anyway, you already said it all, its social media. It where you come across different set of people and make assumption and conclude on a person perception.

chibertha:
He is shouting at you. I got pissed off from his first reply to you.
Sorry dear it is social media.

I also have question on behalf of my inlaw. He applied for express entry and been waiting for decision and possibly request for his passport. Its almost 10/11 months he has applied and his medical will be 1 year next week. Does any one here know what he should do.
About a month plus, they have requested him to send payslip, bankstatement and to update his background form

Hello Austacus,

To answer your concern. I have never stayed in any of the country I visited.

When I left secondary in 2015 /I was just 15years then, I got a 5 years visitor visa to Canada. I went there to visit . While in Canada I applied for visitor visa to US, I got 2 years to US. At about 5month in Canada I left Canada to visit US was there couple of days and return back to Canada. I was going between Canada and US and never stayed beyond 6 month in any of these countries. When I got like 2 reject trying to convert my visitor status to student status applying from LA.

I return back to Nigeria to applied and got another rejected. Then left to Europe to visit my elder one and from there went to US to complete a GSDE for 3months and secure admission to a community college. Came back to Nigeria to apply for US student visa which I got that, but while I was in Nigeria, I applied for 4th time for Canada student visa June 2018. And till now I haven't gotten any reply however I am now doing my college in US. At least if they reject I now have a proper permit to apply from US, but don't know why they don't want to answer with positive or negative.

But I still have a valid visitor visa to Canada, So if I decide to enter Canada today, no one will stop me. But I cant go to school with a visitor visa. That is the issue I have ooo

If I had overstayed in any of these country, US wouldn't have granted me a 2 years student permit. And if I had some extra cash, I could have tried entering Canada with my visitor permit this Easter which is still valid till 2020.

Austacus:
Base on what I can see right now in your Gcms notes, your application is stuck in background checks (from the day you received the Gcms notes, I don't know if it must have changed now).
You're experiencing info sharing error (if you doubt me, check page 2 of your notes, you will see it)
You gotta ask yourself too many questions, cross check your application over and over again to make sure every detail corresponds to your US application, you gotta ask yourself if you've overstayed your visit to US or Canada (I don't know if you've ever traveled to Canada before), check yourself if you have any charges in the US or Canada etc
You need to scrutinize yourself and make sure the problem is not from your path.
If the problem is from your path, if the details, spellings are an oversight from your path, accept it from them and fix it, if you overstayed your visa, write a very good story to back it up.

Happy Easter to you all.

Attached is the communications with MP

makano:
Ok good.. You never mentioned u had already sent the MP a message. since u have done that, u have to wait for a response from CIC.. If you dont get a response from the MP in like a week, you can send a reminder mail to the MP.. Goodluck

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Omonoba1981(f): 4:57am On Apr 21, 2019
I am thinking medical would not be needed. The requirement for Medical is if you are

If you plan to stay for more than 6 months

You need a medical exam if you meet any of these criteria:

You lived in one or more of these countries or territories for at least 6 months in a row within the last year

As I said in the past one year I have spent more than 6months in a country that is not considered as destignated.

As of sending them more mails. I will wait a bit till the MP comes with a respond. They respect their MP than me bombarding them mails.

The MPs has a special way in communicating with all the immigration office all over the world. They talk directly to their office via phone and direct email to their supervisors.

makano:
Since u applied from Nigeria, then u will have to do ur medicals in Nigeria.. I would have advised you go for an upfront medicals but I dont know when u will be resuming.. If its May, then its impossible to do ur Upfront... So u just have to wait for CIC to request for ur Medicals... But like I said in ma earlier post, disturb them with emails both through Webform and also to their official emails.. And put ur Subject as Urgent.. Good luck

I was not comfortable with the way the job descriptions on my reference letter were listed in one of my roles that I claimed point for. So I consulted a few people on this platform (newmum and happytbaby, God will bless you both abundantly), and they agreed with me. I immediately declined the ITA and discounted that particular experience from my profile, this dropped my CRS to 439. I was initially hopeful that scores would drop to 439, but after about 2 or 3 draws, it dawned on me that scores might never drop below 440 so I reached out to newmum and happytbaby again and explained my intention to reclaim the point for that experience and support it with a detailed LOE and a lot of documentations since I actually performed the JD. They agreed with me and happytbaby volunteered to look at my LOE once drafted. After a few back and forth between happytbaby and I, we came up with a really detailed LOE which referenced a lot of additional documents. God bless you mama, I really appreciate it. I updated my profile and I was back to 464. A few days later, ITA 2 came.

POST-AOR

I submitted in June 2018 and like everyone else I prayed and was hopeful for a speedy processing. I remember the day I logged into my profile and saw that I had passed medicals, it was the best feeling in the world. Unfortunately, I was not prepared for what was coming. After, I passed medicals, I was pumped up and I immediately initiated the process of renewing my passport which was to expire in November 2018, I got the new passport about 2 days after and raised CSE to update accordingly. About two weeks later, I got a mail saying that my updated information has been passed on to the responsible office and that since my application is being processed at the Accra Visa Office, I should take note to contact them directly next time. I initially thought Accra shouldn’t be so bad as long as it’s not London. Oh was I wrong? I ordered GCMS note a few weeks after, everything appeared to be in order except of course for the fact that AVO had not touched it. By this time, I had already done a lot of research and knew what AVO was capable of. It was complete silence after this until February 2019 when the 4 famous ADR showed up (not 5 because I had submitted pay slip with my initial application). I submitted the ADR the following day and thought PPR would come shortly after. In their usual manner, AVO had other plans and PPR didn't come until almost 2 months after.

I honestly can’t thank everyone on the various AVO whatsapp groups enough. You guys are the real MVPs. All the support, encouragement and banters helped to keep me sane during the waiting period. I pray that everyone still waiting shall receive their good news soon.

SOME THINGS TO NOTE FOR FUTURE "AVORIANS"

1. AVO is not the VO for "crooked" applications like people think. so if you ever find yourself there, don't over-think it, they just like to work at
their own pace.
2. Support groups are great, try to join at least one of these groups. If it becomes too much (sometimes it can be), remove yourself from the
group(s) and go back after taking some fresh air.
3. A good idea is to do a certification while waiting (might not be that easy as the wait can be daunting, but just try).
4. Try not to put yourself under pressure by putting a timeline to the whole thing (PPR, departure). Trust me, AVO has a mind of their own.
5. Don't try to analyse "AVO trends" or what you think is trend, there's no one size fits all with AVO.
6. Finally, pray while waiting. This is the most important point.

I have attached the last two pages, I only have 5 Notes. And as I said i got a gcms with 207 pages these included all the application I have made since 2016.

The latest gcms not was 14th November 2018

For the medical, If I still have to get it done would that be from US or I have to come back to Nigeria for that.

makano:
If you applied from Nigeria, then u need to do ur medicals.. And to ur GCMS note share the last 2 pages or so, that's where u will see what the VO is saying bout ur application... U don't need to share the whole pages, just go to the last 2-5 pages of ur note, u will see what u looking for there and share.. Meanwhile I can see 2016 in dis ur note, I am talking about ur GCMS note for this ur current Application and not ur refused applciation.. Peace

I applied from Lagos. During my waiting period went for US student visa and got that one late last year.

I have shared the zcms before and nothing was there. I have like 207 pages

makano:
Did you apply from the US, if yes, I dont think u need to do medicals if u have a permit there... And to the bolded, u cant just say nthing there.. Share ur gcms note, so peeps can see whats really with ur case and advise you accordingly.. Peace

Hello Makano,

My application was online route. And this was the 4th application after 3 rejects. Would they need medical from me as I have been out of the destignated country. Been in US studying in community college since January, making me out of destignated country for more than 6 months.

- 4th application >>> 16th July 2018
Biometric >>>>> July 2018
No- Upfront medical

I have send several web contact mail, and no reasonable response

GCMS non thing there.

makano:
Its Makano tho.. U didnt drop ur full details... When did u apply and have u been called for Medicals, is it an online applicaton or paper, If its an online application, whats the status of ur aplication? If ur application is beyond the official processing time, then I will advise you start sending them messages through the webform... And if you don't receive any feedback from them in like a week, then u can start sendng them messages to their respective email addresses... And when sending them the messages, stress the fact that ur school would resume soon, also let ur Subject be URGENT.. GOOD LUCK..

As you all know, my application is almost heading for a year now. I had my brother called IRCC office in Canada. The person he spoke with say nothing they can do as they cant see application handled outside of Canada and said only Government office that can contact immigration office outside of Canada.

So we gave a MP office a call who promise to check what is happening. This was yesterday, and he responded to my mail the next day. Below
is his response

Any update yet? Do you know any one who can suggest what next to do. My GCMS notes didn't make any sense either.

I was actually paid in cheque on my previous job. It was a very small privately owned company

Influential101:
Even it you don't have access, you should be able to get your bank statements during that period. .or you were paid in cash?Atleast, If you're able to provide bank statements that show inflows of salary, you may be able to explain the pay slip issue.

I wish you the best
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Omonoba1981(f): 11:07pm On Mar 07, 2019
Accra is the visa office. I no longer have contact with my previous employer. While the one before that was a small firm, that was in East immediately after my service. I am not sure if anyone I know still there.

But for sure I might be able to get talk to my present employer, but to be frank I wouldnt have like them to know of my plan to leave.

Zutlin:
1. If your currently employer can quickly issue you payslips for all 8 months it would be nice. The payslips should be stamped and signed.
If not, get them to write a cover letter explaining the mode of payment, alongside a salary certificate (that's what I hear people call it). A salary certificate is a document, usually in a tabulated form, which shows a breakdown of your payments since employment.
I suggest the cover letter be properly addressed and not a 'to whom it may concern'. Check the mail sent to you for address.
Both cover letter and salary certificate should be on letter-heads. Signed and stamped.

2. How do you mean you no longer have access to them? How was your salary paid?

Also, what's your visa office?

Hello Guru, I got this request from CIC today. My application is over 8months , sometime in January they requested for background form, as I have earlier indicated to them I change my place of work. After then, I didnt hear from them not until I updated the webform with a new intl passport ( presentl one ie less than 6months this January)

Today I got the below request. Issues at hand is

1- I have been working with my new Job 8months now, I dont get payslip, I only get cheque which i normally deposit in bank, I never scan the copy of cheque.

2- My previous Job, that I had claim was like 3 years, I no longer have access to them.

What do I do in these cases

But it doesn't seem USask has master in Nursing

Frankrobbn1:
Yes majority of schools in Canada require application fees. Only on a rare occurrence will schools like university of Saskatchewan and some others waive application fees on behalf of the applicant.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Omonoba1981(f): 12:39am On Feb 23, 2019
Seems all school in Canada requires application fees

Frankrobbn1:
Firstly, start by searching the below shortlisted universities in Canada which offer Master's in Nursing:

1-) University of Alberta

2-) Thompson Rivers University
Kamloops, Canada

3-) McGill University
Québec, Canada

4-) McMaster University
Hamilton, Canada

5-) Laurentian University
Greater Sudbury, Canada

6-) University of Western Ontario
London, Canada

7-) University of Lethbrige

8-) University of Manitoba
Winnipeg, Canada

9-) University of Northern British Columbia
Terrace, Canada.

You may likely get scholarship for the number 1,3, and 4 universities.

Once you have successfully gotten your acceptance letter from any of the DLI, you can come back here and ask questions regarding the study visa application process, and we will be happy to assist you.

All the best!

My elder sister completed a double degree in nursing and midwifery in U.I. she graduated 2015 and NYSC 2016/2017 and since then she has been working in a private hospital. That pay so little, we have advice her to get a Canadian school for Master if possible.

She had a strong 2.1 and completed her Bsc with Chevron Scholarship.

Which Canadian school would be good for her to apply for master and possible get scholarship and start date of September session.
