Hello everyone,

How can one get recommendation letter from NOUN professors for admission abroad.

As you know, we barely see and talk to our lecturers in school, except for project.

How do I go about requesting for a lecturer in noun who supposedly knows my academic abilities. And my prospective school wants 2 recs through the professor's email.

Also, I don't know what the letter of recommendation on the transcript website looks like. Does anyone have a sample?

28,675 STUDENTS FOR NOUN’s 12TH CONVOCATION, AS SOUTH-AFRICAN VARSITY VC PRESENTS CONVOCATION LECTURE

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) will on Saturday, March 25, 2023 hold its 12th Convocation Ceremony, where about 28,675 students are expected to graduate.

Out of the total number, 21,281 are undergraduates from various faculties, while 7,394 are postgraduates.

The ceremony, which is scheduled to hold by 9am, will be held simultaneously across the university’s 108 study centres across the country.

The ceremony is billed to take place both on-site and off-site.

According to a public announcement signed by the Registrar, Mr. Oladipo Ajayi, all first-class graduands; first degree graduands in study centres in Federal Capital Territory (FCT); award winners; PGD graduands; Master’s degree and Ph.D. graduands will hold an on-site ceremony at the University Headquarters, Jabi, Abuja.

In the same vein, all first-degree graduands in other study centres will hold the ceremony at their study centres in the various state capitals.

The ceremony will also feature award of bachelor degrees, postgraduate diplomas, master’s, doctor of Philosophy and Honorary Doctorate degrees at the Convocation Arena, NOUN (on-site), while other graduands are to participate from their respective study centres by joining the virtual convocation site on by 10.00am.

Furthermore, graduands are hereby informed that certificates are ready for collection and will be distributed from Monday 3rd - Saturday 8th April, 2023 at various state capital study centres between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Meanwhile, the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, University of South Africa (UNISA), Professor Puleng LenkaBula will present the Convocation Lecture, the 12th in the series.

She will present on the topic: “Volatility and Opportunities in Higher Education.”

She is the new Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of South Africa since January 2021 and the first female Vice-Chancellor in the 148 years of UNISA’s existence.

LenkaBula is also the 3rd Vice-Chancellor of the famous Open and Distant Learning institution since the advent of South Africa’s democratisation.

LenkaBula has served in numerous capacities including the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of the Free State; Institutional Change, Student Affairs and engaged scholarship.

Equally, at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, he served as the Dean of Students Affairs, and member of the Vice-Chancellor’s office. A Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at UNISA from 1999 to 2010.

The Convocation Lecture is scheduled to hold on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Convocation Arena, University Headquarters, Jabi, Abuja, by 10 a.m. and will also be streamed live on .

The lecture will be followed by the convocation ceremony on Saturday, March 25, 2023, and will be held on-site and off-site simultaneously in the 108 study centres across the federation.

The above courses doesn't count against those with 2018 matriculation number as the courses were not part of courses EXCEPT BUS424. The ENT414 is an elective for 2018 matriculation numbers. BFN203 and ENT303 were not listed at all for registrable courses for those that entered in 2018.

You people should stop calling him a simp please. @poster, I think you have low self esteem based on how you look. You need to be comfortable and confident about yourself as a person. You are a human being. Acknowledge yourself and what you've been able to achieve. Even your failures, acknowledge. They're part of who you are. Tell yourself you're worth it.

Secondly, get into body building. Get enrolled in a gym. See a Nutritionist. If possible, see a Therapist to help you through this path. In her recent post, Tosin on Moneyafrica (Instagram) literally talked about what we should spend money on in this new year. Things that help improve our lives. love-vendor yourself. Make yourself look and feel good. You deserve it.


Third, focus on self development. Make more money in your business/career or whatever you do.
Trust me, girls will follow.

Pay no mind to negative comments here. Many of them have even done worst things in their ignorance.

Please when is the next project moderation exercise? Because I submitted my project before the deadline and even before some others in my group.

Please I'm an undergraduate student. I was told that after submitting soft copy and spiral binded copy, I wouldn't be doing much again. No plagiarism test and no defence. However, I'm hearing another information that I'm supposed to do plagiarism test. I wasn't called for it. And my project assistant is not responding neither is he in school.

What really are the steps for project submission for undergraduate students. My Study Centre is Wuse II, Abuja.

Please I'd like to ask....
First of all, do I need to register all core courses for my program? Even though I've registered up to 119 credits through Direct Entry?

Secondly, I heard all GSTs are compulsory. But GST204 is not on my Portal for registration.... How do I manage that?

Will Noun refund my semester registration money to my Portal if I don't register any courses?

Few months ago, i created a thread on front page on how i have lost interest in school and education because of my poor academic performance

Today i just found out that i failed two of my final year papers, thus giving me an extra year, i didn't know at first but as my mom kept pestering me to apply for law school, i had to check the list my school forwarded to Abuja, Garki, for those eligible to apply for law school, and discovered my name was not included.

I was discombobulated because i already made good the due process involved in the application prior to this day, i was advised by colleagues to check my result and lo and behold i failed 2 courses in my second semester yr 5.

I have failed my parents, especially my mom who invested a lot in my schooling, i might not be able to go back to the school for the extra year, i don't even know how to tell my parents, or what to do next, if i had known i would never have attended the uni, rather would have learnt a skill or focused on freelancing but i guess its all too late now.

Write your carry over courses and prepare for it, attend tutorials, review the questions you think you must have failed in that paper. I'm sure you'll scale through.

Also, about the freelancing or learning a skill, you could use your free time after studying to learn one or two skills. And offer your services online on fiverr.com or upwork.com and make money.

So, baby, don't worry about it. God will see you through.

Personally, my last semester results were very very poor. Like extremely poor but I didn't give up. I'm studying and putting more effort. And I am hoping it will be all okay this time.

Fashion today is beginning to be designed in such a way that men can now wear what women wear. These days, men wear dress which is pertaining to females. They call it fashion, whereas it is an abomination to God. People who wear such are hated by God.

The sad part is that when men who wear Women's dress are criticized today, they are quick to claim the Bible supports the lifestyle. The worst part is that they claim Jesus also dressed in similar manner i.e he wore robe. This is a big fat like because Jesus never wore robe, a fashion similar to women's dress.

Why would Jesus wear robe when he specifically spoke against it in the Bible. He gave a doctrine against wearing robes as seen below.

But you say, "what about all those pictures depicting Jesus wearing robes?". Those were painted by people who never existed during his time and culture. Those are paintings by Michael Angelo and other sodomites who even made Jesus wear long hair.

14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

Jesus never had long hair because he's the express image of God while men are the image of God. Wouldn't it be ridiculous if we as the image of God are not allowed to wear long hair, but Jesus whom we are in his image wears long hair?

Jesus never wore robe because that would make him a hypocrite. He spoke against long robes and told people to beware of those who do such thing. Won't it be absurd to now see him wear long robe? Wouldn't that mean he's saying people should beware of him too? It would also mean he's an hypocrite who preaches against something but does it anyway. I'm glad we know he was sinless, therefore he couldn't have gone against his word.

So, what did Jesus and the culture back then wear? I don't know because I didn't exist back then. But what I do know is that he never wore robe nor any dress-looking garment. But trousers existed long before he came to earth. The book of Daniel spoke of men wearing trousers otherwise known as Hosen.

Some people can be quick to quote Mathew 9:22 to prove that Jesus wore a robe or cloak, but that's a lie inspired by false Bible translations.

New International Version
She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed."

New Living Translation
for she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”


The NIV and the NLT both state that Jesus wore a robe or cloak, but it's a lie. That's why I wrote a thread exposing false Bible translations and advised people to stick to the King James Version only.

Look at how they rendered Jesus to be a hypocrite. They called Jesus a man who goes against his own words by putting on robe which he gave a doctrine against. The only time Jesus wore a robe was when they placed a purple robe on him and a crown of thorns. They did it to mock him. It wasn't something he decided to wear on his own. Or will you say he also decided to wear a crown of thorns?

Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!

So, guys don't be sucked into modern fashion that sees men wearing women's clothing e.g dress, Jalabya, makeup, earrings ankle chains etc. Doing such makes you an abomination before God.


This doesn't mean that he's against wearing robes. The subject and/or object of that verse are the Scribes themselves and not the robe wearing

Good morning everyone. please, I applied for Business Admin. and paid 5k via remita. However, due to work, I could not complete the Application Process.
Recently, I tried to proceed with my registration but they're telling me that my Unique ID Number is Old. I was asked to generate a new one and continue the process with my old remita. I generated a new one and tried to continue but they're telling me that I used a new Unique ID with an old Remita code. They won't allow me continue the application. Please, how do I rectify this?

1. The next academic year begins by September 2018, according to the source at NOUN Lagos Study centre. But d date for screening is yet to be announced.

2. Yes, you can apply and get admitted at anytime. You must have a strong internet connection. I did my own registration in June, and less than 24hrs, I got my Admission letter to study Bus. Admn after meeting with necessary requirements.

3. Yes, Bus. Admn course is accredited at NOUN.
