Why won't he be jittery when the only tool the opposition has is the use of federal forces paid by the common wealth of a nation to perpetrate evil. Tell me, what's the minister of state for defense doing in Osun when we still have clots of insurgency in many northern states. When has he visited any of the Northern states?

I just have this to say. The people determine what they want. If it's rice sharing or corn eating candidates who have nothing significant to show for their years in governance they want. Then all well and good.

I am learning to take responsibility for my welfare and that of my generations unborn. I just hope they feed their unborn generations with the 2 congos of rice they recieve. The people deserve whatever they vote for. And they deserve to get it hard and rammed up their asses.

Maybe you reread the post. It states they reported the assualt at a police station. Whether they returned to tow the bus or not is irrelevant at this point. Those buses are always on dedicated lanes along that route and it's no news that other commuters are persona non grata on those lanes. Also the police station definitely has their statements. They got a solid alibi and i would go with their story.

If you want to discredit their story maybe you walk down to the police station and request a copy of their statements instead of lazing in your sit and boring us with your assertions without any concrete proof or postulations to counter their story.

Why should he state what he is willing to pay? 9years experience DOESN'T translate to 9years of being a graphic artist, team player, or a good employee.

Salary are always determined after interview, test, and other considerations. While I pay some graduates (B.Sc) N40,000 I pay some OND and school cert leavers N52,000 doing the same job because of their job ethics.

If you have me in your team you would be glad you did. Not blowing my trumpet but when they say someone who's thoroughly skilled in what they do and still knows a substantial part about every other thing under social, arts and science then i could well be that guy.

I guess those b.sc workers are just passing time in your "company" or are just not using their certs or even their heads. I can't blame you.

Money is useless. Create value and you would have all the money. I understand Money is just a means of exchange. You can't pay peanuts for the "value" i have. It's that simple.

Since you constantly turn down other applicants for not having the required skill why not state your payment package and who knows he might be ready and willing to work.

Lol. I was just taunting him. I am not interested in the work. Just wanted to prove him that there are skilled workers out there. I can name at least three different people who are awesome with these skills and i can vouch for but would prefer to chill than take up offers they deem demeaning. And trust me a larger percentage of them is always is.

So when someone skilled sees an advert for such positions of computer operator they just tune off.

Learnt assembly language also and it has really helped understanding the basics of computer architecture. Although i didn't go too deep but it has given a broader view and enhanced my skills for the engineering aspects of a computer. Anyone who wants to be a better computer analyst needs to understand the rudimentary of computing and assembly language provides that.

jdilight: Pay is not always the issue. Here we pay the office cleaner 17, 000 naira per month, though she run some errand at the office and she doesn't work on Saturday. The question is do you know your job well. If an employee comes to me and the first question he or she ask is "how much do you pay or what is the pay package like" I will not employ you.

That's cool. Although not everyone is interested in pay. But the ridiculous amounts being offered to "skilled workers"in this field by most companies and individuals is making them withdraw from working under someone. You can't discard this fact. If those companies who offer peanuts get lucky and get one skilled person, they are just using that to pass time until they get their acts right. Why would i work when i can hustle,be on my own and get times 5 the amount i am being offered and still have my freedom which is invaluable?

Anyways, glad you pay your cleaners well. Keep it up and i guess you can see how motivated they would be.

I asked what you intend to pay because this ain't official channels. Maybe you state it. I might just down my tools here and hop onto your company's train bro.

Hi,
Black screen could easily be an
issue with graphics card driver,
however, other driver corruption
can also cause blue screen issue.
I would suggest you to follow
these methods and check if it
helps.
Method 1:
If the automatic repair fails,
perform system restore to
previous working date.
a. Boot from the Windows 8
DVD.
b. Once you get the welcome
screen of installation with the
option “Install now”
c. Click on Repair your
computer
d. On the next page click on
Advanced Options
e. Select System Restore and
check you can start the
computer.
Method 2:
If that does not help, you may
try to boot into Safe Mode from
Windows Recovery Environment.
You need to enter this command
in Command Prompt from
Windows Recovery Environment.
Bcdedit /set {bootmgr}
displaybootmenu yes
http://support.microsoft.com/
kb/2809468/en-us
If you are able to boot into Safe
Mode, then try to disable
graphics card driver from Device
Manager. Restart the computer
and check if you are able to
boot normally.
Method 3:
If that does not help, then try
rebuilding BCD and check the
issue.
a. Boot from the Windows 8
DVD.
b. Once you get the welcome
screen of installation with the
option “Install now”
c. Click on Repair your
computer.
d. Click on Troubleshoot and
then select Advanced Options.

It will last but just to put your mind at rest is why they give a warranty and change within a range of 30days.

6735s? Cost of a new one (i.e. UK used ain't more than 30-40k). So, it all depends on you.

fairly used one costs around 15k with a warranty period of one month. What's your system model? I don't have any engineer in Ib. Best bet is for you to bring it down here. New one costs between 25k to 35k depending on system speed and type.

When he trains them and still goes ahead to pay the require salary then who is at a loss? Bearing in mind that they will leave immediately they assume to have gotten and skill and will be offered a better pay elsewhere.

I keep saying it, Nigeria has Abundant of jobs but its it's a country filled with LAZY INDIVIDUALS.

You will see a jobless man for over a decade still selecting job saying "I can't take a marketing jobs its too stressful". Yet he feels no shame begging money from friends and relatives every passing week.

Abeg. I understand your plight but not all these Computer operator jobs you see around.

Ask the op how much he is willing to pay the person he hires. 5-10k max? Ain't it?

Consider the person is going to be working 6days per week and 10-12 hours daily i.e 7am-6pm. That's around N40:00 naira per hour.

Is the pay commiserate with the skills he is looking for?
I guess the computer operator would not only just operate computers alone, he would be in charge of photocopy, scanning , lamination and even be used as a receptionist.

Best thing he needs to do is to get someone who's not so vast in the field. Train them on the job and pay them the little he can offer.
At least it is a win-win solution. The employee learns on the job and the employer gets to pay the "average" salary.

Show me the abundant jobs? I have over 9 years skills in Microsoft office, Corel draw, design and anything he might even need maybe he should state his pay so I might consider if it is worth joining him. At least now it's not about poor skills, it's about the pay. grin

Whenever I turn on my laptop (HP 2000 windows , it enters '2222222222222222222222222222222222...' automatically as the password, at a time which every other key seizes to work except the backspace key. Meanwhile, the keys '2', 'S' and sometimes 'A' do not work on the keyboard.
Also my VLC media player asks for administrator's permission before playing any file.
I use the free avast antivirus and seldom connect to the internet.

get a new keyboard. As for the administrator's permission. Press the windows key and type UAC. select the option that displays. When it displays. Reduce the setting level to the left of your screen to minimum.

jdilight: For more than two weeks an advert we placed for a good computer operator has received little interest. The unfortunate part is that the few who has responded has not knowledge of neither Microsoft word or Corel draw. To make matter worst, they come with certificates that certifies them good computer operators.

Today's jobs are not for certificate holders (CV), but for problem solvers.

Get skilled: be the best in your field. Your time is coming.

Maybe you do with the ones who came and train them on the job.

Sometimes the ones with very good skills prefer sleeping at home and freelancing than working for peanuts or in an unappreciative environment. Up your ante and you would see "wizards" willing to work for you.

Money is not everything but you need to understand it's a basic for any serious employee who has mouths to feed and needs to satisfy. Also remember everyone deserves good motivation and everyone deserves commiserate pay.

I have tried to overlook and forget faults but they keep crippin into my mind and messing my head up. one of my exs even believe i am more alive as a friend than as a lover....i feel i have lost it. I just need mature minds here to encourage me and tell me what they think.

First thing is to stay away for now. Take a break. Maybe Two, three, four months.. Or just any amount of time it would take you to get yourself to understand why you need a relationship.

One simple thing you need to understand is that are you going into all these relationships that don't last to conform to societal standards or is it that you like that person and want to build something for the future?

When you can discern between this two, staying in a relationship would be much easier.

Focus on having relationships that you know would lead somewhere and no need getting attached to someone you know does not have the basic things you would consider for a life partner just because you need to get hitched and they asked you out.

Find that someone you believe crosses the Ts for you and endeavour to tell them early on about the issues you faced in the past and your fears because when such challenges crops up later they know where it's coming from and are better armed to help you sort and work things out. Just take it easy.

Ok. With that noise i would advise you discard it. A new one goes for around 2k to 4k depending on model.

You sure it's loading from the system at startup? PRESS esc or f10 or f9 to enter bios. Go under boot options and select the cd rom as first thing to boot . Try this. If it doesn't work go back to the bios setup, diagnostic, hard disk test. Carry out the test to ascertain the state of the hard disk. I doubt the hard disk is spoilt yet.

press windows key and type device manager. Select it from the list. Scroll down when it displays the page. Under usb devices. Right click and Uninstall every item you see there. Restart your system. Should be fine.
