alj harem:No. What you want is current Nigeria provided you continue to sit at the top of the political food chain. I have told my Igbo brothers that you are Fulani or Kanuri. You are especially unique on this forum because of your dexterity in divide and rule. You are second to none on this forum. Your whole modus operandi is deceit, subterfuge, subversion and inciting of hate between brothers and neighbors in Nigeria. You single handedly polluted Nairaland and you continue to incite hate against Igbo people in Nigeria. You have the purest form of hate and evil in your heart. Again you are second to none here on hate mongering and division strategy. I personally believe you are a trained professional, likely working for "Boko Haram". |
jason123:@Bolded, you don't seem to know or understand Nigeria at all. lol Secondly, I stopped supporting Southern Nigeria because of what I call irreconciable differences between Igbo and Yoruba. I now believe that the best arrangement is one that either reconfigures Nigeria into the old three regions with minor adjustments (eg. Anioma should join the East), or outright Igboland on the East comprising of the whole of Igboland from SE and SS. I can also accept a "Southern Nigeria" minus the Yoruba. The more I study the Yoruba, the more I don't like them. No hard feelings. ![]() |
alj harem:Yes, you fought against Biafra because of oil. You wanted to control the oil resources of Eastern Nigeria, but we Igbos fought to secure a place of security for our children. Obasanjo confessed that during his term in office. You are very easy to study. All you have done since joining Nairaland has been to continue stoking fires of division in Eastern Nigeria, and then southern Nigeria. Your mission is focused and never wavered even for one day. However, your mission WILL FAIL. ![]() |
So, since you are so rich over there, why did you fight Biafra because of oil? Obasanjo said the war was for oil; but to us Igbo, it was a war of survival and security. Why are you so desperate to divide SE and SS? Your desperation is convincing me more and more about your obsession with oil control. |
jason123:But what? I thought you say that you would like to see a southern Nigeria (which BTW I have stopped supporting), what if the president is trying to achieve it the only way he can? |
bashr8:My guess would be far less than whatever Igbo contribute to Nigeria. I really pray that Nigeria disintegrates so that everybody will survive on whatever they have. I can already envision how we will be making money in Igboland. All these money being wasted and stolen by Alj-harem and crew will cease to reach their pockets. I give Igboland just 10 years to emerge one of the best African countries. Even if we don't do that much, at least we would stop arguing with dimwits like Alj-harem and Rhino. |
@alj harem Your nemesis Onlytruth is here. So, take cover! ![]() I can see that re@lchange and BlackPikiN have been dealing ruthlessly with you here. I know that the only Igbo man you fear on Nairaland is moi. ![]() I will continue to give you nightmares by uniting SE and SS more every day. Anuofia ugwu. ![]() |
This is why I never stop laughing at the notion of a "SS" in Nigeria. Nuff said. |
So, here is Onlytruth's land deal economics 101. If I see a piece of land outside Igboland, and it goes for N500K, what is the real cost of that land? Answer: N500K + the cost of defending it = More like N20M or more If I can buy in hectares and sell to my fellow Igbo or whoever is willing to fight in defense of it, who sign an undertaking to be able to send fighters to defend it in times of crisis, then the cost may be lower (after sharing it of course), hence making it affordable for me. Umu Igbo, times has long passed for us to keep thinking in absolute money terms whenever we are thinking of buying land outside our region. You must change your mindset, else the cost may even be your life! Here I stand! Signing off, Yours truly, Onlytruth, ndu di n'eziokwu 1 of Igboland, Eze Ndigbo Nairaland. ![]() |
@alj harem You can twist my message anyhow you want it, you will never be able to change the gist of it, which is that Ndigbo should not run away from their hard earned properties in any part of Nigeria. My message remains that they should DEFEND IT BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY. So, go on with your lies. My people say that ejighi akpata atufuo aba ogaranya -you can never be rich if you keep losing what you have (and probably making up excuses, lol). They should never cede any land they bought with their hard earned money. Period. Now, I would also advise all Igbo would-be buyers of land anywhere outside Igboland, to do an honest introspection and ask themselves some hard questions: WOULD I BE WILLING OR ABLE TO DEFEND THIS LAND IF THE NEED ARISES? If the answer is no, then DON'T BUY. "The future does not belong to the fainthearted. It belongs to the brave" - Ronald Reagan. ![]() |
Rossikk:My brother you are just attacking people left right and center without providing a contrary view on the topic to defeat the opinion of the OP. For instance, what do we do for fun in Nigeria? Simple question. |
Never argue with a Fulani herdsman unarmed and ready to kill, else you'd be dead. Simple. That is their worldview. |
Obiagu1:My brother, I'm beginning to think that it would be a great business idea to start buying houses from our fleeing Igbo brothers. All I need to do is recruit as much fighters as possible to defend the houses. I can even recruit from almajiri population sef. lol Even some white mecenary folks would happily jump at the opportunity to make money in a place very easy to secure. ![]() |
My brother dede1, Our job is to keep our governors working for us. IMHO, I think that Gov Rochas is trying his best for now. Some of us are even green with envy at his methods and achievement in Imo state. The man is perhaps the best governor east of the Niger except perhaps Gov G. Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state. Let's give him a chance for now. We'll start judging him from the end of this year when he must have spent nearly 2 years in office. Thanks in advance, nwanne m. ![]() Please contact me at ezendigbo_nl@hushmail.com ka m kuwara gi aki oyibo nsugbe. ![]() |
And BTW if I met those houses, I would have never left it to you thieves of dreams. I would instead turn Sabon geri Kano into a no mans land before leaving. That is the fundamental difference between the Igbo of 1966 and those us today. ![]() |
ndu_chucks:When some of you lose the argument about the crimes you commit in Nigeria by murdering your "fellow Nigerian" for living in your corner of "One Nigeria", you start picking demented arguments to deceive people. lol Does it occur to you that some of us living in diaspora were forced out of the country of our births by Islamic extremists who swore never to give us peace in our land of birth? I take events happening in Northern Nigeria personally because my father virtually fought there in 1966 to secure his right to life. He was forced to leave his houses there (Kano). IMHO he should have burnt those houses down before leaving. Those of us in the diaspora are more committed to the cause of liberating our people because we have seen it all. When sheet hits the fan in Nigeria, you would then know whether we are cowards. Iddiot. ![]() |

ccollins:The guy is Yoruba. |
More like a piece of subversive and dishonest junk. I hope the "author" is monitoring contemporary Nigerian history, and taking notes of how Ojukwu is going down as the most celebrated Nigerian political/leadership figure OF ALL TIME. ![]() The "author" must be wondering why, if he/she has a soul. The beauty of the times we live in, is that even some people from Odua (who formed the bulk of the permanent secretaries that torpedoed The Aburi Accord) are today calling for the same Accord to be dusted and implemented, AS IS. What interesting times! ![]() So, basically, this junk piece has been effectively neutered by current events/realities of Jonathan presidency made possible by unalloyed Igbo support, resource control politics supported heavily by Igbo, fuel subsidy politics supported heavily by Igbo, and "retardeen" fury in Odualand. lol I rest my case! ![]() |
@topic hehehe! I doubt the story though. ![]() IMHO, any person who builds a house worth more than N500K in any part of Nigeria, should be ready to fight and die there defending it. Shikena. If he cannot do that, then he is a foooooooooool; and I don't care who he is. ![]() |
T9ksy:And you are here challenging some of us who actually grew up in the North -arguably the most dangerous part of Nigeria. I survived there as an Igbo -a seriously endangered specie in Northern Nigeria. So, y'all should go there first and claim to be Igbo for at least one year and see whether you survive, before coming to Nairaland to beat your dry chest. lol |
T9ksy:Let me clarify this for you more. We are not afraid of your joining aboki. What we are concerned about is that by doing so, you paint a picture of a Nigeria united against the Igbos. In the civil war, that is what you achieved by joining aboki, not your military contribution to the campaign. I don't want to go into the debate about your contribution. We know who fought the war against Biafra. I won't debate it. Even if you don't raise a finger against us, simply voicing your support for one Nigeria when we want out rallies the international community against a "belligerent and strong headed Igbo". We want peace and progress for our people. So, the best you can do for us to declare Oduduwa if we declare Biafra or Igboland independence. |
alj harem:Alj_harem, I am a pragmatist. God knows that I will PERSONALLY participate in any war in Nigeria. The Nigerian nation has killed more of her own people than any nation I know. Only mass murderers would support a nation which feeds on the blood of her own citizens. Extremist elements have hijacked our collective future, just because they assume a monopoly of violence. Only in Nigeria do you find people dying and still hoping for a better tomorrow without a major event. |
koruji:That is really my preferred strategic -KEEP THIS WAR WHERE IT STARTED. Fight it THERE. ![]() |
koruji:War is not something you just wake up to fight, at least not if you want to win. You have to first convince yourself of the need. I have seen too many people with just causes who lost wars, mainly because they were unprepared for it mentally. If I was among the planners of the war in Biafra time, I would never have fought that war without enough mental preparation of the people. I also believe, that if you prepare well mentally, you would be taking steps that convinces the enemy of your ability to do maximum damage to his interests. That way, a war might even be avoided all together. Just my views. |
Ileke-IdI:Whenever I talk with some of you, I'm actually talking to the "International Community" who follow us on Nairaland. We've seen this dance before, from a highly respectable Yoruba politician who shall remain unnamed for now. When we declare now, you will run and queue behind aboki again to kill us. That is why I hope the foreign elements would repent and stop supporting evil and treachery. |
