I hate unions; I even hate MEDICAL unions more. They have no conscience and should even be proscribed. Some things are too critical to allow unions in them; eg, Police. In my book, striking doctors should be jailed. Once you sign up to work as a doctor, you must continue working or you quit. That's all. ![]() @Afam4eva, I don't know what you are trying to prove these days. ![]() Jiri nwayo nnanne. I am a strong supporter of foreign coaches for Super Eagles. The age class teams are okay under Nigerian coaches. Super Eagles is a different thing. It is not by accident that only foreign coaches won us African Nations Cup and took us far in the world cups. |
NFF opts for foreign coach By Onochie Anibeze Nigeria may opt for a foreign coach to handle the Eagles, it emerged yesterday. And in that case, former captain of the team, Stephen Keshi may be appointed the Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation. As Technical Director Keshi will be mandated to supervise all the national teams. He will play a significant role in the development of football in Nigeria. “I don’t think that Keshi’s appointment as Eagles coach will be without controversy as, only few months ago, he was considered for the job which was eventually given to Samson Siasia,” a top member of the Football Federation said yesterday, adding “I think that the best job for him will be to assume the office of Technical Director so that he can move things in all the national teams which his office will be supervising.” The NFF member says Keshi’s pedigree suits the office of Technical Director. The Football Federation member opined that football will “grow better if a sound foreign coach is appointed and Keshi takes the job of Technical Director because they will all marry their programmes for the benefit of Nigerian football.” Another Technical committee member said that the foreign coach who may be engaged may not earn more than the equivalent of what coach Samson Siasia is currently earning. Siasia earns N5m monthly. “If we are sincere to ourselves we could get a good foreign coach who may not earn more than $40,000 per month. How much is Guinea paying their foreign coach?” A member of the Executive Committee said that the only way that Siasia could continue as Eagles coach is “for him to resign and file in a fresh application so that another contract can be made.” “It is possible that Siasia is hired but it has to be on another contract because the current one says that his job would end if he did not reach the semi-final of the 2012 Nations Cup which he did not eventually qualify.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/10/nff-opts-for-foreign-coach/ |
Chino11, chy101, ohaneze1 Now, I challenged you to produce pictures of Awka, YOU FAILED to produce any. Instead you continue to attack my other Igbo brothers who are even making me proud with whatever development they are recording in their states. Nna, Nnewi si na "o bu onye ezi ka a na awalu ogodo mkpu na ana" -long wrappers are meant to deceive foreigners, not locals who can easily point out all the men with scrotal elephantiasis. ![]() I told you that I am more Anambra than you can ever be. I deliberately used the worst possible words to put you in your moronic place. Next time you attack other Igbos here, you will meet me again. Anu mpama. ![]() |

Chino11, chy101, ohaneze1, I would revisit your post and then show some pictures which would judge whether you are even an Igbo man, talkless of being an Anambra citizen. Posted by: Don't mind that rascal onye-ngbu, he has been so jealousy of Anambra and its souring height in the physical and economic realms. Anambra remains the light for the SE and Nigeria at large, not even mere imo state can attempt to compete with Anambra in terms of any ramification. Imo state has continued to churn out visionless and focuseless govts from Udenwa to Ohakim and now Rachas. Imo state is one empty state with little or nothing to offer its citizens, it is one state that lack infrastructural development through out the state senatorial districts, its one state that think that area which is not up to 20 hectares of land called owerri is its glory, its quite a shame. Come to Onitsha, the 1/3 of the people living and trading/working in the city are all imo citizens because there govt has failed them over the years they all ran to Anambra. At the drug market at the Head Bridge the 2/3 of the people domiciled in that market are all imo citizen especially Orlu/Ideato people. I have kept asking them does Imos state starts and ends with owerri otokoto? Entire owerri is not up to 1/3 of Onitsha. With all these I wonder why imo people will not be happy with themselves and their neighbours for once. Here are pictures of Owerri Imo state:

Posted by: lagcity Look, this isn't trickery becos I've already told you we will be on both sides. And this is not a suggestion, we must sell weapons to you. If you don't buy our weapons, we will be very angry with you. And pls stop bluffing, there's no card for you to put on the table, OK.If we trust ANY group in Nigeria, we will certainly lose the war. That is what history teaches us. And yes we will have our cards on the table; sort of making you an offer you cannot refuse. Anybody wanting to support or ally with us is only welcome AFTER we have secured a winning strategy which would work irrespective of such support. I believe that the minorities of Biafra for example abandoned us because we did not present a winning strategy. I have no ill feelings about that because I feel it is our duty to find a winning strategy. And we will find that strategy BEFORE we formally demand our exit from Nigeria. |
Posted by: lagcity No, don't try to beg us to stand back and watch Grin. Don't worry, this time around we'll be active on both sides, not just on Northern side. And if u guys refuse our assistance, we'll make life miserable for you, you know what cunning Yoruba is capable of. You've been warnedLet me laugh for once here. Don't worry, your tricks won't work this time. the truth is that if we Igbo see a need to fight again, NO GROUP in Nigeria would want to fight us after we place our cards on the table. This is 21st century, and we'll be damned if we touch any 20th century strategy. |
^^ Y'all are irrelevant anyway. LOLZ. So, stand back and watch like sniveling old women. ![]() |
Posted by: namfav but let me tell you something though, if you are to have biafra, the first thing that will have to happen is all easterners have to leave our region back to the east, you have to arrange your busess i wonder if that will happen? and not only that but biafra also has to pay compensation to northern states for acommodating your people for that long, and also have to answer for the crimes of biafra or else, these things will not go unanswered, so you have to prepare yourselves for alot of things, maybe the yoruba t are more trusting in you and will let you stay on but in the north we wont offer you such a luxuryFrankly, if not for the purpose of educating some Igbos on this forum, I would start to ignore you and treat you in a way befitting your IQ level which is not higher than that of a "nama". ![]() I would advise you to leave the issue of compensations until after Biafra comes to be. A day is coming when compensations would be calculated and demanded. On that day, we shall know who needs to be compensated and who needs to travel to The Hague. ![]() |
Posted by: odumchi It's amazing what people say and yet still say they worship God.What is most amazing is how a group of people will do anything, you name it: insult, name calling, and even threaten war to prevent the same people they hate from seceding. I can now understand why I feel like many people in Lagos are lunatics. I get that feeling everytime I visit Lagos. |
I've always argued that the road to the future of Nigeria passes through the middle belt. One north has always been a myth perpetuated by the Hausa/Fulani to lord it over Nigeria. Gideon Orka saw it clearly and wanted to put an end to it. It is already happening, and Nigeria is better for it. ![]() Jonathan should encourage them with whatever resources that is available. |

Igbo mma mma nu! Zuo nu! rie nu! Kwezuo nu! Isee!! Owu unu ka ayi ji aba mba na Nairaland. ![]() Nnewi (Anaedo) na asi "de eme" -well done or thank you. "Inyona" -welcome (or have you come or returned), we also say "nnoo". "nya du" -see you later, or later. "nne omoo" -greetings to an old woman (anytime of the day). Omoo is like pronouncing "Omo detergent" expect that the suffix o is dragged a bit. " nna om" " -greetings to an old man (anytime of the day as well) . "um" is pronounced like pronouncing an umbrella. ![]() |
Posted by: bk.babe97y So, it is settled: Everyone hates and distrust the Ibos!Fine! Then grow some balls and call for Nigeria to cut Igboland out of Nigeria. ![]() BTW match it up with actions, not just talk. Why can't you baboons do this simple thing? |
