No biggie, just info. Outside naija, we are the same. |
Posted by: Ileke-IdI ^^^ heheehe@Ileke-IdI You said something in one thread yesterday, and I'll like to discuss it via email because though we fight each other on Nigerian politics and tribalism, at the end we are still Nigerians in the eyes of the whole world at least until that country ceases to exist. Deal? |
Posted by: Alj Uche you are clealy right, some of our leaders have sold us out for money and power but what can i say UndecidedAs long as Ibrahim Babangida, Atiku Abubakar, Theophilus Danjuma ( there are many others) are in northern Nigeria, Jonathan will not lose to Buhari or even Ribadu: In the west you have the mister do or die himself; Olusegun Obasanjo and his supporters. There is no way Jonathan loses this election. There is so much at stake for these guys, and there is of course so much at stake for Nigeria. Some of those who fought the war are still alive and don't want to see the country disintegrate. Look at it this way, if you are from south south, how would you handle such loss? Forget Ndigbo for now. Swap shoes! Step into their shoes. It improves your perspective. ![]() |
It'll be like Umaru_sai_gaskia! ![]() |
Posted by: Alj Uche what would happen if jonathan loses i would like to know my brother SmileyMallam when did you change your name to uche? Your brothers will give Jonathan victory, mark my word. ![]() |
Posted by: eku_bear Nothing will happen if he loses. If he loses cleanly as an incumbent with all the powers of the federation at his disposal, no one can cry foul play.Let's just say that I don't know whether Nigeria will ever practice free and fair elections. All I know is that there are more powerful and informed Northern folks working for Jonathan's victory than those working for Buhari's victory. There is a number of reasons why that is the case. You are about 20% correct. |
Eziokwu, I'm laughing at these guys ![]() I'm actually thinking the opposite -Jonathan winning Buhari in Katsina. I won't explain. ![]() |
^^ Go to your parlour if you have one, grab a cold bottle of beer. Finish it, sleep and try figuring it out tomorrow. ![]() |
^^ For starters, I don't believe that Jonathan would lose. In fact his victory is cast on iron. ![]() But, if, due to circumstances beyond our control he loses, have you actually thought about what will happen to Nigeria? Walahi, you guys don't think far. ![]() That is how Ojukwu clearly saw today in 1966 (45 years ago!). Even Nzeogwu's coup statement can still be used today. |
^^ You're welcome for not throwing childish tantrums . . |
Posted by: Ileke-IdI Whia ris the oba?ee his somewia in the creeks. We av no money to give to these Ijaw boys! ![]() |
Posted by: Eko Ile Of course, good to know my culture is not based delusions and absurdities,What you call "delusions" is what I call vision. You cannot achieve anything great in life without it. What you call "absurd", is what I call opportunity. ![]() That is how we garnered a sizable portion of the Lagos real estate. ![]() Now we are asking for our rights to be enforced in the Nigerian democracy as property owners and tax payers; you are foaming in the mouth. ![]() Now tell me; who is st00pid? |
Posted by: Eko Ile How u sabi this fact? You waka around alaba to conduct poll, talk less ask each one of them for their degrees and diplomas? What I said won't make sense to you because you be Yoruba. Our culture differs.![]() No Igbo man would go home and sit down because he failed to get a job. Most would take the next best thing which is trading apprenticeship. After they've traded for a few years and raised enough money, they establish companies. That is how it has always been since Nigerian economy tanked in the 80s. I personally know guys who did it. Also, most of them register more than one company. Even some guys working for oil companies still register their own companies and go from there. VERY FEW Igbo men would continue on paid jobs. FACT. |
In fact the only Igbo that I know working salary jobs are doctors (even doctors are starting their own hospitals after some years of work ), engineers working with oil companies and bankers. That's all. The rest -whether architects, surveyors, planners, economists, etc all start their own businesses ultimately. They may not do so initially because of money, but once they raise that money (through work or trading for some time) they start their companies. Simple. @topic, Why are Yorubas still hemorrhaging here simply because Ohanaeze will lobby for Igbo representation in Lagos ?For your information, since after Abiola issue, most Igbo have vowed to defend their properties in Lagos. I wouldn't mess with that. As for politics, let the winner of majority of votes cast dictate what happens to Lagos within the bounds of the Nigerian constitution. If anybody tries any nonsense there, believe me they'll be sorry. |
I'm laughing at guys like PStylish ![]() I mean, how pedestrian can posters get on this nairaland sef? Simply go to the CAC in Lagos and count how many Yoruba's you see there and bingo you got fair statistics! ![]() To top the idiocy, he concludes that Igbo graduates simply go home and whine for not getting jobs! What won't I read here sef! chai! Guy, for your information, a HUGE number of those Alaba boys are GRADUATES, and most of them go ahead to establish BIG companies once they've raised enough money. I don't know how Ifeanyi Uba of Capital oil started, or Emeka Offor or Coscharis for that matter. All I know is that our own millionaires can start anyhow, educated or illiterate; from illiterate to riches and some take adult education once rich. The point is that if you see an Igbo graduate looking for job, he is actually looking for one thing - MONEY with which to start a business. Bar none I don't think anyone beats Igbo in entrepreneurship. Name it, we have it: common trader, we have it; Billionaire we have them too. IN LAGOS. ![]() |
Posted by: Ileke-IdI Oh where is the Oba o? na me you de ask? Meanwhile our investigative photographer operating somewhere in the creeks took this picture. Please try to identify the man in the middle. He looks like someone important. Looks like the oba and his guards! lmao.
|
tyrant11:My friend sharaap dia! Your oba is missing in action somewhere in the creeks, captured by a 7 man Ijaw squad which sacked 7 villages, and you are here poking your fingers at "omo nna" who find it ridiculous. If ordinary 7 man Ijaw squad can sack 7 towns in Yorubaland, imagine what 6 million IGBOS can do. We have not noticed your OPC yet. The day we notice them, be prepared to move en masse into Benin republic. ![]() |
^^ hehehe! ![]() |
The Minister of Science and Technology, Prof. Mohammed Abubakar, unveiled the products, which were developed from research and development efforts conducted by agencies and parastatals under the ministry. When was the last time aboki invented or produced anything? I'm laughing. ![]() Soon they will tell that they invented a Nigerian made axe for breaking firewood. ![]() Useless people. |
Self evident. How do humans manage to live in that city? ![]() I basically pass through, and when they finish Enugu airport, I'll stop passing through. |
asorocker:I know you mean well, and yes you are right to some extent. Your strategy is good just to survive and keep hoping for something more substantial. While we may start patronizing our locally made autos, the same Federal government can still kill it by massively importing them and flood the Nigerian market with them. The point is that if the Federal government of Nigeria cannot identify with our autos which are Nigerian made autos, then we are NOT one country and we are being held against our will in Nigeria. The least would be to conduct a referendum amongst Igbo states to find out whether we should continue to stay in Nigeria. Everything we've achieved in Nigeria so far has been through self help. We build our own roads, bridges, airports, schools and hospitals, and now we are trying to do what the Federal government failed to do -make Nigerian made automobile, and yet that effort is being openly sabotaged. |
The other thing is that your people are known to say they don't care if Nigeria disintegrates, but always join forces who want to keep it one. I don't want to be part of an incongruous and thieving country. Don't worry about supporters of the evil system. Everybody will bear Nigeria's pains (one way or another) for as long as they continue to support it. True justice is universal. Only God enforces it. (quotable quote from onlytruth ) |
eku_bear:That is what you always say, but when issues come up you show your true colors. ![]() You believe that Nigerians should not live and "dominate" other parts of Nigeria, but you support the constant stealing of oil and mineral resources from Igboland to develop your land. ![]() How do you reconcile those two? ![]() You and I know where you stand. ![]() Let everyone stay in their regions, and let oil proceeds stop being shared too! |
eku_bear:This is the view of a thoroughly educated Yoruba man. Shocking beyond words. eku_bear, please why do you bother to attack Igbos who want out of Nigeria? You don't do it overtly, you always do side attacks and think that we don't see it. @the international community, I hope you'all see what we've been saying since 1967. Thoroughly educated people want to keep Nigeria one for purely invidious reasons. They are like the "scribes and pharisees" in the bible. They do not want to enter heaven, but they would fight those who want to enter. |
Posted by: ~Bluetooth I have been through with couple of your sisters and I can tell you that they are ready to follow a yoruba provided you have the cash but my concern is just that I'm scared of being offered as sacrifice to ibo gods during the annual december festivity. The information I'm giving to my sisters will help them either stay away, or storm your land with our own ite esi nkume! ![]() Your women beat the $h!t out of your weak a55es. Imagine what an Igbo woman can do to you. For me, one Yoruba woman was enough. Couldn't stand the smell. ![]() |
