Andre Uweh:She cannot discuss the Ijaw humiliation because Ijaw is a minority tribe. So she has to pick on Igbo. |
Wey de Oba jare? Every oda talk na shakara. ![]() |
It is like attacking Onitsha, while Obosi, Oba, Ogidi, Nsugbe, Alor and Nkpor flee to Awka! lmao! ![]() |
Abeg where's becomerich? We need to plot the distance between this area and the state capital. I guess it would be hundreds of kilometers. |
^^ Wey de Oba abeg? Soon dem go gifam parrot egg. hehehe! ![]() SMH at these peoples' cowardice. |
Ileke-IdI:Tough luck changing this topic. Nice try! BTW what did Yoruba do about their Jos casualties? I heard they died more than any other southern group. ![]() In any case wey de Oba now? Ijaw de kick your @55 and you are looking for Igbo to blame. lmao. |
ndu_chucks: ol boy I no wan laff die abeg! ![]() |
Beaf:LOL, was thinking the same thing. My main fear is that my people are busy trading and going about their business as if all is well. ![]() One of these days, we will hear a big gbosaa, and the unarmed will become slaves overnight. "Fulani herdsmen" my a55. |
ndu_chucks:hehe! barawo kawai ![]() |
EzeUche_:It is simple enough for me, and I will reply you with an Igbo proverb: Oburu na ngwere kwe na agwo g'eri ya, agwo erie ya. Oburu kwa na ngwere si na agwo agaghi eri ya, agwo agaghi eri ya! Our problem is INTERNAL. |
I have come to the realization that the only difference between a rich man and poor man is that the rich man is more ambitious than the poor man. Igbo say that if "you tell a poor man what it takes to be rich, he would be scared and prefer his poor life." That is what happened to Nigeria. A man with a rich vision came along and showed Nigeria the vision of how to become a global leader. Nigeria panicked and fired him. ![]() Today, folks are blaming IMF. SMH |
We'll soon start blaming IMF for NEPA. I'm laughing. |
manny4life:When Soludo was there, he figured it was not within his power to provide constant electricity which would empower manufacturers and improve exports; so he set out to do what he can as a CBN governor and former chief economic adviser to the president. He decided to create A NEW GLOBAL INDUSTRY in Nigeria - THE BANKS. To support his strategy, he proposed the "Strategic Initiative on the Naira" which basically means to revalue the currency and make it the currency of reference in Africa. He was trying to dodge all these international traps and place Nigeria on a pedestal of world leadership. The man had ambition and vision. Guess how Nigeria responded? They yanked him off his job and replaced him with a clueless mallam. Today, all Soludo's fears are materializing. We still don't produce, and we are defending the value of the Naira with our scarce foreign exchange. What a country! |
manny4life:Most of you are allergic to the truth. You conveniently avoided the issues I raised and now you are trying to blame Soludo through the back door! You people are incorrigible. Soludo wanted to create a financial services hub in Nigeria. He started by growing the banks and having them venture into Africa and beyond. He was trying to grow an industry in which Nigeria can boast of skills. Our economy could have done that, but alas it was not meant to be. Suddenly Sanusi comes in and scares the living daylight out of investors and destroys the banks, acting out of incongruous and unnecessary puritanism. Today, that industry is limping and Nigeria lost an opportunity. Blaming IMF has been our favorite past time. When are we going to tell ourselves the truth about Nigeria? ![]() |
Ileke-IdI:Wetin Ekiti go do? mscheeeeeeeeeeew! You think say dis one na ikebe war? lmao! ![]() |
ndu_chucks:You are the fool because you believe that theft can be allowed to stand for ever. No my friend it won't. Believe me, all it would take is a brilliant idea (which can come up at any time), and you would wake up to see that you are facing a war you cannot win. Your constant mistake is to assume that every future eastern move must resemble 1967. Truth is that we may even use your previous allies against you next time. One of these day,we will pursue, overtake and recover all our stolen assets. ![]() |
Financial services is one field in which Nigeria can actually boast of having enough manpower and skills to challenge the best in the world. ![]() We could have created a Zurich in Nigeria through which all investments into Africa and even the world could be funneled. That was Soludo's vision. ![]() It was killed by Nigeria, not IMF. |
The IMF did not remove Soludo; Yar adua and his northern brothers did. ![]() Under Soludo I was beginning to see how a country can grow economically without really manufacturing. His plan was to make Lagos and Nigeria the financial services hub in Africa where investments pour in. It was working and beginning to take shape, but alas, Nigeria struck! Everything was tossed overboard. Today, we still don't manufacture, and investors are fleeing Nigeria. The only choice now is to shore up the Naira with our oil receipts, which can never be enough. That is where we are today! So, please unless someone can show me how IMF fired Soludo, I ain't buying it. |
I don't believe that this has anything to do with the price of oil in the international markets unless you can prove that we sell our oil in Naira. ![]() This is just a product of poor national economic policy planning. When Soludo was lamenting that our reserves were depleting at a time of unprecedented oil revenue, people were calling him names and dodging his debates. ![]() Now, this is the outcome. ![]() |
What a country! About 2 or 3 years ago, a brilliant central bank governor by the name of Charles Soludo was proposing a strategy to REVALUE (shore up its value) the Naira and make it the currency of reference in Africa. The response to his actions? ![]() His countrymen sacked him and replaced him with a clueless mallam, and all his works dropped and rubbished. Fast forward to this year, the same country is now thinking about DEVALUATION of the same Naira! I've said it before and would keep saying it. The Igbo man's frustration with the Nigerian project stem from the hopelessness of Nigeria, and the resoluteness with which other Nigerians grab at retrogression. I remember how Sanusi was being praised by people who were only happy to see that "Igboman" leave office. Soon some f00ls will start accusing me of tribalistic comment, but hey, do I look like I care? ![]() Until Nigeria is ready to appoint and leave the BEST in sensitive positions, Igbo will keep agitating for separation. Period. |
I'm rollin' on the floor @ kidnapping of a so called monarch. That is the height of insult. LOL. Apparently the response by nearby towns was the flee! dem never hear bomb or ogbunigwe and dem dey flee.lmao. Foreigners can never know Nigeria from comments here. They'd think the loudest ones are the bravest. Like I keep saying, Nigeria's history is still playing out. Every group will get a chance to prove itself. ![]() still rolling on the floor sha. |
Quote from: ndu_chucks The sad truth is that the biafrans lost the war and will never form that nation without first killing off the rest of Nigeria - an impossibility at best.Don't worry about that; we would devise an ingenious way of getting the job done this time if necessary. ![]() What you should really spend your time thinking about is how to find that oil in sakwato and Nguru. ![]() |
^^^You cannot understand me, only an Igbo can. The truth remains that I don't hate anyone. You and your brothers still boast of how you killed innocent women and children in Biafra. I don't think you would ever find an Igbo person rejoicing over innocents death. That is what I meant when I say that if we (Igbo) have 10% of your (Yoruba) hate, we would rule Nigeria unchallenged. I don't want to be you though. We meet at the battle field if you want. It ends there for me, unless you scheme a repeat of your history, then we would prove to you that any human is capable of pure evil. |
Posted by: fstranger3 ^^^^One of the biggest myths on nairaland is that I hate Yorubas. The truth is that I don't hate ANY group. I can't. I am Igbo! Igbos can't hate innocent people. You meet us in the field of battle it is a different game. But the battle ends in the battle fields, not in homes killing innocent women and children. That is why we are being ridden like donkeys in Nigeria. If we have 10% of the hate you have, we would rule Nigeria unchallenged. |
Posted by: fstranger3 Well she is one of yours and Schizophrenia abound aplenty in Alaigbo, so she is at homeYou meant "not". You seem to be going nuts already. hehehe! |
Posted by: PhysicsRND I don't belong to the group that mostly believes Oduduwa fell from heaven so I don't know you're bringing that upApparently you missed the joke too. I meant that our origins are still unknown. You are following alj harem too closely. Back up a little. |
Believe me this is one of the most important posts on nairaland; but notice how eerily quiet this thread has been since it started. Reason is that it is based on TRUTH. Start another thread now saying that Igbos are planning to steal their neighbors land and watch how it will explode. My state Anambra has more oil and gas (30 tcf!) than many countries (many countries only have billions of cubic feet of gas), and Igboland has more oil and gas than Cameroon or Ghana. Very important information. |
^^ Look who is calling me to order - the man who calls for Igbos to be killed en-masse in Lagos. My friend move over. It was not meant as an insult and you know it. You couldn't help stoking fire where there is none. |
Posted by: PhysicsRND No Niger-Congo language speakers are indigenous or aboriginals to Nigeria or any countries to the West.Mr Physics, abeg speak for yourself o! This talk is even tautology because nobody can claim to be an aborigine of any land. Everybody fell from heaven like Oduduwa. lmao. What is relevant is that you can defend your current land. |
^^ bros long time. Ol boy I don tire for kobo abeg. |
^^ Yeees! lmao. |
But I'm enjoying the quiet plot by some Yoruba peeps to breed us out of existence. lmao! That means I have to sharpen my own instrument of subtle warfare too. Afterall self restraint is not weakness. I could father a nation in Yorubaland. |
