PoliticsRe: Bakassi Hoists National Flag, Sets Up Radio Station by Onlytruth(m): 3:47pm On Aug 10, 2012
christemmbassey: UJUKWU RENAMED CALABAR NEW ONITSHA, AM GLAD BIAFRA FAILED. AS FOR BAKASSI REPUBLIC, GOD WILL FIGHT 4 US.
Until people like you stop your baseless fears and grow a brain, you will not survive. Unless the God you call upon is not the same God that I know who hates fools, then you may just be right. lol
If you refuse to use your brain, God will stay verrrrry faaaaaaar from you. cool He did not give you a brain for nothing. Use it!

In the article included ealier in this post, I couldn't help notice that Ndigbo (pratically speaking) were actually the only fear nursed by the Cameroonians over the Bakassi issue, and it led to the "rumour" that Biafra wanted to unite Eastern Nigeria and Southern Cameroon, together with all the lands in the " Bight of Biafra".
That led to forcing Igbo men to report to police stations DAILY in Cameroon during the war. That alone speaks volumes to anyone with brains.

If I were from ANY part of Eastern Nigeria or even South-Western Cameroon, I would ACTIVELY seek and form alliance with Ndigbo. This struggle is not for ants.
Imagine a scenario where we all work together in that part of Africa; A WHOLE LOT WOULD CHANGE.
A word is enough for the wise.

Meanwhile I wish Bakassi folks goodluck and God's speed.
PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Better Off Split? by Onlytruth(m): 12:42am On Aug 10, 2012
PhysicsQED: Cheikh, I think that with enough time and consultation, peaceful agreements can be worked out between all parties on who will or will not align with who and what countries will be formed. If this isn't carried out, Nigeria can still survive, but whether it will thrive and prosper is another matter.
That is my personal problem with Nigeria. Sometimes I try really hard to accept Nigeria as is; but when confronted with the question of its viability (chance of thriving or prospering), I become incredulous again.

While watching the sprints and hurdles, and long jumps in the Olympic games, I couldn't help notice that Jamaica (a country of just over 2 million) has more medal winning chances than Nigeria a country of 160 million.
Anyone who is not saddened by just this example must be a sociopath. sad

Can Nigeria thrive? Ever?
That is the question.

ocelot2006: You are wrong. We may have been part of the former Eastern Region. But our langauges and culture are TOTALLY different from the Igbos (no offense).
Guy you are so dumb and I often feel embarassed that anyone from Akwa Ibom state would have your level of IQ. No offense.
So, what culture and language do you share with say Edo or anyone from across Opobo westwards that is closer than what you have with anyone from the Igbo or Efik in Cross rivers?
Honestly, people like you would never have been recruited into the army in the days when individual intelligence was a factor in the recruitment process.
The other day you were threatening Cameroun with Exocet missiles even though you have absolutely no clue how the missiles are deployed, and whether the Camerounians may acquire them faster than Nigeria.
You are an embarassment to Akwa Ibom. If not for the Careytommy's of Akwa Ibom, I would have thought that all Akwa Ibomites are goats. sad

PoliticsRe: Why Does The Whole Nigeria Tremble At The Hearing Of Igbo Secession? by Onlytruth(m): 12:13am On Aug 09, 2012
Going further with my computer analogy, note that you can transfer a software from one hardware to another and it would still work; but you can transfer hardware from here to heaven, it would still be domant until you load the software, be it BIOS, firmware, OS or app.
That is why Igbo can confidently ask for a separate hardware (their home space) upon which to load and operate. . .> thrive.

If anybody thinks otherwise, please that person should help me beg the rest of Nigeria to push Ndigbo out of Nigeria. Thank you in advance. cool
PoliticsRe: Why Does The Whole Nigeria Tremble At The Hearing Of Igbo Secession? by Onlytruth(m): 12:06am On Aug 09, 2012
This is how I see it.

A computer is made of hardware and software. Both cooperate to give a working computer. The Nigerian space is the hardware; Ndigbo are the software.
Nigeria without Ndigbo is like a computer without software: you can't even turn it on. lol
Take a careful look throughout Nigerian history. The most enviable feat recorded for Nigeria in the international/national arena (which gave Nigeria a semblance of a standing nation) was/were achieved by Igbo men, from D...ick Tiger, to Kanu Nwankwo to Chioma Ajunwa; from Chinua Achebe to Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Barth Nnaji is just about to rescue Nigeria from pepertual darkness which was foisted by dark souls; a darkness that has become part of the national culture. Ernest Ndukwu gave us cell phones and made it possible for some folks to be posting on Nairaland today from their phones.

Ndigbo are the GI in the Nigerian GIant. Remove the GI and all you get is a mere ant!

This is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth; SO HELP ME GOD. cool
PoliticsRe: GEJ To Replace 50 Northern SSS Operatives Guarding Aso Rock With Southern SSS by Onlytruth(m): 1:50am On Aug 08, 2012
My personal prayer is that all persons of dubious character should be removed from the SSS.

What do I mean by "dubious character"? I mean those who do not understand, or believe in the fact that the PEOPLE OF NIGERIA ARE THE TRUE SOVERIEGNS OF NIGERIA, not the state or the politicians. Any SSS officer that does not know, or does not believe that the ordinary citizens of Nigeria have the right to do with Nigeria whatever they deem fit, should be fired from the organization.

During the breakup of the Soviet Union, when the Russian parliament basically declared secession from the USSR, the military roled in the tanks and surrounded the Russian parliament (peoples assembly). Soon enough the FINE military officers in command of the tanks basically told every soldier to go home because they cannot attack the people just because they wanted the USSR desolved.
That is the type of FINE officers we should have in the SSS, not any 19th century crude who thinks that the citizens of Nigeria are slaves and captured serfs in their own country, and within their own national space. They must be officers who realize that the ultimate power lies in the hands of the citizen, not state or politicians.

So, the sack/relocation should be more comprehensive. Only then would we be sure that the best is serving Nigeria.

Relocating bad officers, is like relocating bad priests. They simply go elsewhere to carry on with their ill-famed trade.
PoliticsRe: Remove GEJ & Prepare For War – Dokubo Asari Warns North by Onlytruth(m): 1:36am On Aug 08, 2012
I think that any war involving the whole of SS will certainly draw the Igbo in whether we want to join or not. The only way it can happen without Igbo involvement is if it is kept in Bayelsa state. If it crosses into Delta or Rivers, there is a 95% chance that Igbo will join. These are some of the open/secret truths in Nigeria. I think that even Northerners know this that is why they hesitate.

I laugh at those who think otherwise.
PoliticsRe: It’s Only In Anambra We’re Harassed, Intimidated-arewa Renaissance by Onlytruth(m): 1:24am On Aug 08, 2012
Malawian: First of all, since when does the sultan decide what happens in anambra state? Secondly, who told him his father was born there and that he is married to an igbo woman? And thirdly, since the northern traders are very many in number in onitsha, cant they levy themselves and buy land there and build their shops? Must they continue to wait for handouts? Agughi akwukwo a ajoka kwanu !!!
Exactly my sentiments.

It is like the Igwe Kenneth Orizu III of Nnewi going to tell Kano state government what policy to implement concerning Nnewi/Igbo business men in Kano.
In the history of Nigeria, it has NEVER happened.
These people are indirectly colonizing us in Nigeria but most of us don't realize it yet.
How can Sultan of Sokoto tell Anambra state governor what policy to implement regarding Hausa business men in Anambra state.

Nnanne, I don't even think it is illiteracy that is responsible for such mindset. I think it is cultural/religious chauvinism. sad

I trust Anambra folks when it comes to things like these. cool
We take no prisoners.

Let Hausa traders buy land like everybody else. Anambra state is a TYPICAL Igbo state. We don't believe in handouts. Trying to single us out won't work. cool

You may not be able to deal with the response you'll get by being disrespectful to your guests. Igboland is not big enough to accommodate all of you. Be wise.
A big FAT lie which you will never allow to be tested of course. I dare you to support the creation of the Republic of Igboland. I dare you to conduct a referedum on this in Igboland, and if you get less than 98% YES vote, let it fail.

We are tired of hearing that lie. We need to develop VAST empty lands in Igboland.

Anambra is a state that handles money every carefully. That is why it is among the least indebted states in Nigeria.

Actually the secret to self determination is to prepare to HOLD ANY INDIVIDUAL PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DEATHS OF POLITICAL ACTIVISTS WHO WANT TO SECEDE.
The Nigerian security is made up of people who must think twice about a death sentence for crimes they committed in the name of state.
No one can hide under state to commit crimes against human beings. Charles Taylor is in jail at The Hague prisons.
Many African state government officials who ordered or are directly responsible for deaths of activists are in jail already. More will join them.

Gone are the days of unknown soldiers killing people and getting away free.

Mr.chippychappy:
Tolerance ? Haha the past 50 decades has been marred with religious violence in Nigeria , with the Christians as the victims in the "equation" and you talk about tolerance . Tolerance from the Christians has kept Nigeria as one BUT there is a limit to Tolerance .
My brother don't waste time with that animal.

Between 1945 and today, Christian blood has fed Nigeria's unity and the land still craves more blood.
Honestly, I don't want to sound racist, but white folks would not accept 5% of what we (Christians) have accepted in Nigeria. I wonder whether our brand of Christianity preaches stupidity.

To other forumites, the fact that anyone with HUMAN brains would question the clearing of this sore sight is yet another proof that we are spiritually incompatible.
My God does not believe in forced unity.

The other thing I'll like Gov Amechi to do is to rally all the governors who support state police and they should all establish state police by using whatever means.
The reps in Abuja need to represent their states and the governors can aid them in doing just that.
PoliticsRe: Re: Plan To Demolish Mosque In Onitsha(pic) by Onlytruth(m): 6:59pm On Aug 05, 2012
As a matter of fact Nigeria is headed for disintegration. DUH!
The reason is that we are SPIRITUALLY INCOMPATIBLE.
There is no way one nation can come out of Nigeria because you have those who believe that states should fund Islamic things, even in predominantly Christian states in Nigeria.
How anyone with a HUMAN brain can think like that beats me.

Amechi please NEVER compromise on the state police position; NEVER.
The core North is afraid of is own shadow, and has very little value for Nigerian life (thousands die every year from simple and preventable crimes in Nigeria), as long is it suits the core North's narcissistic sense of political dominance.

WE MUST HAVE STATE POLICE IN NIGERIA.
PoliticsRe: Re: Plan To Demolish Mosque In Onitsha(pic) by Onlytruth(m): 6:42pm On Aug 05, 2012
ndu_chucks: A more sensible solution is to provide a grant to be used to upgrade the mosque and beautitify the neighborhood. If a road must pass through the mosque's current location, you negotiate quietly with the owners of the mosque, relocate them in a dignified manner to a mutually agreed upon area, and compensate them handsomely for any inconvenience.

It does not require complex rocket scientific calculations to do this.
You see? Thoughts like the bolded keep convincing me more and more that the ONLY solution to Nigeria is outright disintegration. Nothing else can work.
Do you know how idiotic the bolded sounds in Igboland where the government don't even use state funds to upgrade churchs where 99.9% of citizens worship on Sundays?
The bolded words are insults.

Just the sight of that shack they said is a mosque and the one aboki who I think is pissing in the drainage there makes the case.
I don't know how that place came to develop that way but we must make sure that they don't relocate to another part of Onitsha to repeat the same filth.
The sight of those bulldozers gives me a special joy.
IslamRe: The Challenges Of Igbo Muslims by Onlytruth(m): 6:20pm On Aug 05, 2012
The fact remains that Igbo are Christians because Christianity makes sense to them and "marries" into Igbo natural worldview and belief system. Igbo have long believed in "Egbe bere Ugo bere"(let the kite perch and let the eagle perch too-live and let live) even before Christianity set foot in Igboland. Islam does not truly believe in Egbe bere ugo bere. It spread mainly through jihadic conquests.
Islam is charged to propagate by violence, and that strikes at the CORE of the Igbo spirit of free choice and egalitarianism.

To me, an Igbo who say he is a Moslem is like a sheep who thinks that by hunting and eating meat with lions long enough he could become a canivore. Islam is predominantly in the Arab and semi-arab worlds for a reason. The Spaniards fought the Moors constantly for 700 years and in the end kicked them out of Spain. Today, Spain is a Christian country. They could have become Muslims, but they are not. lol
The same basic rejection of Islam by the Spaniards is type of a basic rejection of Islam by the Igbo. The rejection is natural and basic. Onye Igbo would rather revert to traditional African beliefs than convert en masse to Islam. Such mass conversion will NEVER happen in Igboland, even in a 1000 years.

So, I go with those who say that about 9.99% of the so called Igbo Muslims are actually contract seekers and business deals men. cool
PoliticsRe: Ogoniland Declares Independence!!! by Onlytruth(m): 11:14pm On Aug 04, 2012
I am laughing at the ndu_chucks of Nigeria, because they are preparing and focusing on the "big groups" in Nigeria while the little groups organize and work steadily for their future with or without Nigeria.
My strategic sense (which is actually unrivalled and unparalled) tells me that Nigeria's greatest undoing will come from one of the so called "small groups" in Nigeria.
It is a tragedy that Nigeria is being run by those who refuse to learn from history; old, fairly old, recent and even unfolding history in different parts of the world shows, that no power can stop an idea whose time has come.
Nuff said as always. cool
