Crime / Re: News Breaking!! Another Bloodbathe In Anambra State by Onlytruth(m): 11:25pm On Nov 11, 2013
I still don't understand why MASSOBs headquarters these days is in Anambra state.
I'm beginning to think that MASSOB is now used by outsiders to invade Igboland.

MASSOB SHOULD AT LEAST LEAVE ANAMBRA STATE.

Nonsense!
Politics / Re: 2015: Sen. Uzodinma Urges Ndigbo To Support Jonathan by Onlytruth(m): 9:16am On Nov 10, 2013
The Uzodinma guy is trying to jump the gun. What he is attempting is tantamount to putting the cart before the horse.
If I were Jonathan I would not listen to these types of sychophants and will rather thread carefully going forward.

If I were Jonathan, I would for example steer clear of removing Stella Oduah, because it is clear to all fair minded Nigerians that she is a victim of a clever stratagem by embedded thieves of the Nigerian aviation sector. She is also paying for delivering dividends of democracy to a key Jonathan's electoral base. She is a very hot potato. Nuff said on that.

There are lots of pent up angers, but those angers will remain pent up if Jonathan avoids listening to those who want him to fail in office.
For now, he still controls Igbo vote, but he shouldn't try playing "holy nweje" with our interests.

Nwannem oma, Ohanaeze recommendation or not, Igbo person should be adequately represented in the so-called south-south axis. This is how it starts and few onlookers or neighbors, especially the loudmouthed ones, will construe such absence as legitimate case of illegitimacy.

I totally agree!
But WHERE ARE THEY? Could they have ceded their representation to others? If so, whose fault is that?
We need to watch the dance very closely to decipher what is happening.
But your bolded points remain unassailable.

Bandit C.:
Let me chime in a bit here.

If you and I were in the position these indians are in, we would say and do worse. In our subsequent reaction to the indian minister calling us "cancer", we have said worse about them.

I am not going to sit here and proclaim many Nigerians in India, going about their business, drug dealers but when certain events keep reoccurring, it is time to ask questions and beam the light on us and find out where the problem lies.

I have been added on Facebook by certain Nigerian guys that I know from nowhere who reside in India and out of curiosity, I accepted them.

What I find weird is that these boys drive unimaginable cars, are always in clubs with russian girls with sometimes up to 4 buckets filled with different brands of champagne, are always in different parties thrown by their compatriots but not once have I seen any evidence of source of income for such lavish lifestyles or any comments referring to a hectic day in the office or factory.

In between all these pictures, you would also notice that there are so many poor looking people around their neighbourhood giving credence to the suspicion that their income is ill gotten.

I'm a grown man, who by his Grace, has been around many countries in the world and know how drug mules and barons look and expend their loot. I do not need a prophet to tell me that these guys are into illegal trades.

That being said, I side with the Goans on this. Once drugs enter a neighbourhood, it is over. Future would be destroyed and lives would be incapacitated. I have witnessed the devastating effect of drugs in communities and have also seen how difficult it is to curb once it begins ravaging and believe the best option is to hinder it from entering at all and uproot all it's traces be they humans or things.

You and I would never let anyone peddle crack cocaine in our backyard, we would fight it with all our lives because we love and care for our kids and loved ones. Why then do we antagonise the Indians trying to protect the ones they love from the demon called hard drugs.

I reiterate,Nigerians should for once ask themselves the question, why is everyone against us, could the problem be us?

My 2 Cent.

Nwanne in all honesty the issue here are WAY beyond mere stupidity of certain Nigerians and their choice of lifestyle.
You may or may not agree.
The key issue is when a government official makes statements that incite the uneducated and ill-informed populace against foreigners residing in his country.
That is nothing short of fascism, and the consequences are always indiscriminate. I bet you that even the most innocent Nigerians will suffer for that Goa minister's utterances.

How many times have our government officials incited Nigerians against foreigners?
For me that is the bottomline issue.

Nothing can ever justify such!

One of the things I resolutely resented in the above article is the composition of people representing the so-called south-south on the Roll-call of the aegis of Southern Nigeria Peoples Assembly, SNPA. Where are the Igbo people of the so-called south-south on the group that has Professor Oserheimen Osunbor, Senator Bassey Henshaw, Air Vice Marshal Idongesit Nkanga (rtd), Alabo Graham Douglas, Dr. Bolere-Ketebu, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, Nella Ewa and Ambassador Lawrence on it.

As far as I am concerned, the group that represented the so-called south-south on the aegis of Southern Nigeria Peoples Assembly, SNPA, is unacceptable me. We must get right from the first step.

Solid points bolded.
However, unless the position of SE and SS are different, only then would it become a problem.

The group might have decided to adopt -"wholesale" - Ohanaeze recommendation which was submitted before; in that case it shouldn't be a problem for us.

I would have liked the conference to be based on ethnicity, but it would be unfair to some ethnic groups (particularly minute ones).
What I would advise Ndigbo to do is to use Ohanaeze Ndigbo to formulate a common Igbo position to be defended by Igbo in the conference from SE and SS. Igbo make up a sizable percentage of SS so they can't be pushed over by anybody there.
There should be ONE Igbo position.

He should call Victor Umeh on phone sharp sharp.

From comments I'm reading here, I've come to realize that a lot of Nigerians are really uninformed. lol undecided
The world out there is a coven of evil. There are LOTS of evil outside Nigeria.

IMHO Nigeria is still almost a virgin, with few copycat crimes here and there. MOST Nigerians will abide by a properly enforced law, and not try to bulldoze through it.

INDIANS? Make I no talk because I don't want to say things that I will regret saying. I never regret anything I say. cool

O.T.I.S:
80% of indians, lebanese, pakistanis and chinese in nigeria are involved in one illegal smuggling or the other. the truth is they bribe their way when ever they are caught, even efcc and nafdac get paid handsomely by these foreign hustlers a.k.a investors. i remember when a lebanese shop was raided and ammunition discovered, few days later the news faded away and we nigerians never mind asking what happened. we are too busy going about our daily business that we care less about what foreigners do in our country.
I ve been to many countries in and outside africa, i saw how jobless and lazy their citizens are, they are too lazy to work, they treat their women like sh...t, and when they see foreigner work, dress well, drive cars, got married(to their women) etc, they become extremely jealous.
either they protest foreigner are taking their jobs or they accuse you of drug because you are making money and snatching their women from them.
finally, nawaoo for our naija guys,, of all countries why india india wey dey use bicycle for commercial transport grin I would rather relocate to my village than live in india.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Warns India Of "Repercussions" Over Goa Face-Off by Onlytruth(m): 10:25pm On Nov 07, 2013
I read somewhere that the real beef is the fact that some Nigerians are "interbreeding with Indian women"; in other words, the Indian men are really crying because Nigerian men beat them to babes. cool
To put things in proper perspective, one of the surveys by Durex indicate that Indian men have the smallest "dongs" in the world, and I know that my "homies" carry some of the most formidable dongles around. cheesy
Could this be the REAL issue here? lmao. grin grin

Just imagine this nonsense.
For every Nigerian living in India, there are TWENTY (20) Indians living in Nigeria, yet they talk as if Nigerians are choking them to death.
A very wicked set of people!

The points made by the article are exactly the reasons I will continue to support Stella Oduah till the very end.
Only thieves, hangers-ons and aviation sector cankerworms are calling for her removal. Truth defenders know that this woman deserves accolades for the revolution she has initiated in the aviation sector in just 2 years.

I was going to pass by this information and toss it under my mattress till I saw Bolanle Gbonigi in it.
He is the only one I can trust from the SW in this team.

I shall speak more on this conference a little later when I find time.
The summary of it is that 2014 and the convocation of a united Southern Nigeria position are the magic words.
This conference will have some REAL results... at least I hope!
