President Muhammadu Buhari warns theleaders (and membership) of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) to desist from name-calling and backstabbing ahead of the oncoming March 26 Convention, remain
steadfast and maintain its unity if the party is to continue in the path of victory and itsdominance at all levels throughout the country. The ruling party in Nigeria has been factionalized with Yobe State Governor, Mai Buni insisting he remains the National Chairman.

His Niger counterpart, Sani Bello now heads the APC, a development that has split governors, lawmakers, other chieftains and members.

Unbecoming of a Ranting Governor Called Wike, Barr. Johnson Izuagbe, Edo PDP Youth Assembly Rages.

Gov Wike unguarded statements on Channels Television on the evening of 12th March, 2022 got a hot lash out From Barr. Johnson Izuagbe representing Edo PDP Youth Assembly. He stated that Wike is only one out of the 15 PDP governors in Nigeria, describing his ranting as nothing short of that of a drunk or one who is under the influence of some sort of substance.

Wike's utterances should be taken with a pinch of salt as no serious minded individual will want to listen to his myopic kind of mindset and nonsensical rants as his problem is quite understandable, he noted.

However, Barr. Johnson sympathises with the good people of Rivers State for having such a person to govern them. He is a political loose cannon unleashed on the people of Rivers State and indeed PDP. A rabourouser, an uncouth man with a terrible upbringing and an undefined family history.

Buhari administration shut down Okash, GoCash, other online banks [Full List]

The government of Muhammadu Buhari has shut down some illegal financial institutions operating in Lagos State.

Customers’ complaints of malpractices and invasions of privacy led to the closure of illegal financial institutions, according to reports.

Babatunde Irukera, the Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), told reporters on Friday that the illegal online banks were located on Opebi Road in Lagos’ Ikeja neighborhood.
GoCash, Okash, EasyCredit, Kashkash, Speedy Choice, and Easy Moni were among the illegal quick loan companies raided, according to Irukera.

The Commissioner of Police Delta state Command, CP Ari Muhammed Ali, FCIA, PSC+ directed all tactical teams, DPOS and Area commanders to embark on intelligence led raiding to curb this menace, identify all illicit drugs hideouts, arrest and ensure that those found wanting are prosecuted accordingly.

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested a notorious drug dealer at Nukai market, along Jalingo-Wukari road in the Taraba state capital, Jalingo, Micha Godwin, during which the anti-narcotic officers came under attack and at least seven of them were injured and one of their vehicles damaged.

Dr. CC Nwokedi that he got the news of the inferno on the 26th February, 2022 from some social media platforms, after making some findings and discovered it was really a fire outbreak in ladipo, he started making calls to those in authority as well as Fire Service around the place of incidence.



He further expressed his grievances on the Govt unconcern and tribalistic considerations as he promised to go with the management of Ladipo Market to seek the government’s indulgence while he commiserates with those who had lost so much to the inferno particularly one Chief. Chigozie who lost 600million worth of motor parts. He also stated that upon estimation, the goods destroyed will amount to over 4 billion naira, as some persons took bank loans to do auto parts business claimed by the fire incidence while urging that the Lagos state Govt show some level of empathy and support especially to those who have lost it all to the fire.

Oyo State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) has commenced the implementation of its oriented programs to tackle the menace of erosion and other environmental disaster under the World Bank Assisted project in the state.

Russia-Ukraine: Subsidy Granted To MTN Customers For International Calls to Ukraine.

MTN has said it will offer free international calls and short message service (SMS) to prepaid and postpaid customers affected by the Ukraine crisis.

Oyo CSDA Commences NG-CARES, Trains 100 Desk Officers

The Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) has organised a one-day capacity building training for One-Hundred Desk officers, as part of activities to kick-start the Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES).

The training, which is aimed at providing further clarity on the design and implementation arrangement of ND-CARES in the state, had participants from Ministries, Departments and Agencies, Local Government Areas and LCDAs within Oyo State.

While delivering his keynote address, the Chairman, Oyo CSDA, Hon. Babatunde Eesuola said NG-CARES is aimed at reducing the negative impact of Covid-19 pandemic in the state.

BREAKING: 22 Lives lost as dare devil robbers attack 3 banks in Uromi, Edo State.

About 22 persons including were feared killed in coordinated armed robbery attacks on some commercial banks in Uromi, headquarters of Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State on Thursday.

The suspected armed robbers were also said to have carted away unspecified huge sums of money from the affected banks.

A resident of the sprawling community, the home town of the late Chairman of PPD Board of Trustees (BOT), Chief Tony Anenih, said that the attacks on the banks were too coordinated.
