DonroxyII:But as some of the less knowledgeable people in the SS still scream: “we in the SS no be part of una Biafra,” the Fulani you talked about is the profiteer from the screamers. Divided in the south, Fulani rules and controls Nigeria as long as it lasts. |
smeag0l:For where Nigeria’s oil money has been going to: Look at the many new cities, including new state capitals, that sprang up in the old northern region of Nigeria since northern military dictators created too many states in every nook and cranny of the old northern region, as well as too many local government areas there. Land mass or population is never used as criterion for proliferation of new administrative units in an area with larger land mass or population, if different regions formed the country from beginning. |
DonroxyII:The first one you called thief has all the gas in large amounts and has crude oil wells to some degree. So what made you think that the first one wanted to steal the crude oil wells? |
All4fun:The people in the Niger Delta that you say are suffering lost it in 1967 when their unwise leaders journeyed to Kaduna and begged then northern region governor, Hassan Katsina, to beg the then HoS, Yakubu Gowon, to carve the non-Igbo speaking ethnic groups in the old eastern region out of Biafra. Gowon quickly carved Cross Rivers and Rivers state out of Biafra. That contributed hugely to loss of independence struggle for Biafra. Arewa businessmen quickly took over all the multi billion Naira oil wells in the Niger Delta. The area is polluted with oil extraction effluents. The rich relocate to Abuja and elsewhere. But till today, some unwise people from the same area still make the same mistake by shouting: “we in the SS no be part of una Biafra.” |
HarryDuce:She is on Fulani Taqqiya. |
EcoBrick:Why then does Fulani-led government of Nigeria send troops to the east and SS to kill innocent civilians if what this minister said here is true? |
FreeStuffsNG:You don’t give what you don’t own. The PIB and the so-called National Assembly which put it through are all charades. The NASS overpopulated by Arewa from the too many states littered by Arewa soldiers in every nook and cranny of the old northern region. The oil wells are in the Niger Delta. The people of the Niger Delta ought to tell you outsider how much they can give you as you being their co-national. Forget the bragging of Muhammadu Buhari who said the elders and youths in the Southsouth have assured him that they want to remain in Nigeria. The more than 50 years tea party of Arewa with resources from the Niger Delta is about to end. PIB my foot. The time has come to end the brutality against the people of the SS - undo the amalgamation of 1914. Arewa can’t continue to hide under sovereignty of Nigeria to rape whole ethnic groups in the south to comatose state. |
EBMedia:This one is surviving. Loads of people from the Niger Delta area had moved to settle in Abuja and and in the SW region. A recent BBC documentary says infant mortality from oil pollution problems in the Niger Delta is at an alarming rate. |
Yankee101:Till when shall this daily RIP in Nigeria stop? Bandits, kidnappers from the north and AK-47 armed Fulani herdsmen are offshoots of Boko Haram. Let the 12 northern sharia states renounce their adoption of unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal laws so that Boko Haram and its offshoots will close shop. Boko Haram says it’s fighting for a Nigeria to be governed by Islamic Sharia criminal laws. Gov El-Rufai knows all these. |
colorsofrainbow:Lol. Does it then mean that Fulani’s Othman Danfodio of the 21st Century, Muhammadu Buhari, told lies when he said recently that the elders and youths of the Southsouth assured him that they want to remain in Nigeria.? Alhaji Divide and Conquer and Rule. He ruled out political restructuring of Nigeria, new constitution is no go area for Arewa, Arewa also adopted sharia criminal laws not recognized by the 1999 constitution supervised by Arewa soldiers. Arewa owns oil wells in the Southsouth; in fact, Arewa wants to use Sovereignty of Nigeria to shiiit into the mouths of people of the southern regions. |
Captain8:No, you and whoever you front for on NL must stay in Nigeria without Biafra. I can bet my last card that you registered on NL as an impostor, because from your comments, it’s easy to see that you are an Abokii. |
Captain8:Unless there is a Big Bang and Nigeria disintegrates from the bang, Niger Delta Republic can never emerge from Nigeria. By the way, what makes you believe that the too many ethnic groups in the Southsouth can agree to form Niger Delta Republic with Ijaw as majority tribe since you can’t join Biafra with Igbo as majority tribe? Common sense is that if former Biafra is restored through any means from Nigeria, Niger Delta Republic and possibly many smaller Republics in the SS emerge from Biafra. |
festacman:True. North does not help in continuation of one Nigeria. |
Captain8:Till the world ends, you can never get Nigerdelta Republican from Nigeria, unless from Biafra. Develop more sense, if you are truly from the SS. |
Daytonbale:Since then, you have seen the worst of marginalization from Abokii who took all the oil wells in the SS and left polllution as mark in the Ss. Many SS people who can afford it now relocate to Abuja. |
nyiamfrank:The same way they placed a Fulani woman as Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, now gunning for her to replace the outgoing Secretary General of the UN. Buhari feels like and acts like he is the Othman Danfodio of the Fulani in the 21st Century. The divisions between the southern Nigeria ethnic groups have made Fulani to remain lord of the ring in Nigeria’s political process. |
Juliusmalema:Inside them, they now feel they are supreme after capturing Nnamdi Kalu, making Sunday Igboho go into hiding; therefore cattle talk and talk of open grazing of cattle all over Nigeria shall resume. Nnamdi Kalu and Sunday Igboho - two men who stake their lives to protect their peoples against Fulani herdsmen. |
Buliwyf:If you had understood that Nnamdi Kalu is a human. And humans make mistakes. His going to Kenya a lose African country was the mistake. By the way, Nnamdi Kalu is like a dot on the circle of millions of people who are agitating for restoration of Biafra. |
Daytonbale:Southsouth is a name coined to separate you and others in the old eastern region and present Delta state from the Igbos of the southeast, so that divided, both groups can easily be raped by Abokii. It has worked for Abokii since the Southsouth thing was created. |
Captain8:Ha ha ha. If people like you are in the majority in Ijaw land, you shall continue to travel to Arewa land to beg for crumbs from the table of Abokii many more years to come. Beg for crumbs from the oil proceeds from Ijaw land. There may be more than 50 million Igbos on the face of the earth. Only a most thoughtless person would expect 50 million people to beg a smaller group for any cause. |
DuwaRepublic:—— and your instincts tell you that you are more brilliant than the easterners hence you can lay your blue print for anything for the easterners to follow? |
Unleash the armed forces on Zaria to hunt for the gunmen. But in the process, they will kill more innocent civilians than the gunmen did. The case in the east. |
stanluiz:You who come online to ascribe mental disorder to another online user - look at your self well, you deserve psychiatric treatment. Believe it or not, I have not gone to any IPOB rally before - never. I only listened to Nnamdi Kalu once many years ago. I don’t know him in person. But as far as what he says about the inadequacies of one Nigeria are concerned, he is correct. Northern soldiers restructured Nigeria politically between 1967-1996 to suit Arewa; supervised a constitution imposed on Nigeria to suit Arewa. Arewa civilian politicians adopted Islamic Sharia criminal justice system in a society of multiple religious faiths; Islamic Sharia criminal justice system not permitted by the constitution. The political structure and constitution clearly marginalizes the Igbo - one of the three largest ethnic groups in Nigeria. The Igbo therefore want to exit Nigeria. Is it difficult for you people to understand? |
PIB has smoked out more of crude oil earnings from Asari Dokubo’s southsouth into the north. Foolishness is in the inability of some people from the Southsouth to understand that the Southsouth teaming up with the southeast to get Biafra first, enhances new republics of Ijaw and others in the Southsouth from Biafra. |
DuwaRepublic:Because you are apparently a guy of little intellect, that’s why you continue to ask easterners to go to the lopsided National Assembly to seek for whatever. North created the excess number of states in Arewa from where Arewa draws the excess number of Reps to the NASS. So stop being intelligent by half as you ask easterners to go to the National Assembly to seek for whatever. |
stanluiz:Foolishness is when you believe that Nnamdi Kalu is Biafra. Nnamdi Kalu is like a dot on the circle of millions of people who want restoration of Biafra, after Arewa north restructured Nigeria politically through its military dictators, supervised a constitution and adopted sharia criminal laws and created a quasi new country for the 12 sharia states, but still clutch tight to one Nigeria because of monetary matters. |
DuwaRepublic:Fifty years after the war, look around. Which group do you think won the war? What we are saying is that you have led Nigeria to become a basket case, therefore, we shall let you have your own country without Biafra. The blind must not continue to lead those who have eyes because of sovereign status of Nigeria. Many sovereign countries have divided because groups in them could no longer agree. What’s up in your minds that you think Nigeria was created to remain one forever? |
Timmi:When you are before soldiers riding on armored tankers supervising you to draft a document they have already prepared for a constitution … It’s like you asking if Akinola Aguda was a mugu. |
Timmi:You don’t understand the differences between making a constitution and drafting of a constitution. Justice Toby, Prof Nwabueze, etc were among the other notable lawyers who drafted the constitution. But they did not make the constitution. It’s like asking you how Akinola Aguda who chaired the Commission to remove federal capital from Lagos to Abuja agreed to recommend the removal of federal capital from Lagos to Abuja. The northern military dictator in charge had already told Akinola Aguda to recommend removal of capital from Lagos to Abuja, the same manner the northern military dictators told the drafters of the constitution what to draft as constitution. |
DuwaRepublic:Nnamdi Azikiwe was nobody’s hero in Igbo land. But avoid to still live in the world of Azikiwe. We are in the 21st Century. Referendum is the first ingredient of democracy in the world. With referendum continued to be prohibited in Nigeria, the country must disintegrate one way or the other. To include referendum in Nigeria’s constitution, asking groups to go to lobby northern Reps who dominate the NASS through the excess number of states proliferated in northern Nigeria by northern soldiers - that’s like talking rubbish. |
Timmi:Stop lying. The constitution was created by northern Nigeria. The northern soldiers who supervised the drafters of the constitution could not have allowed any input that runs counter to their objectives from those drafting the constitution. Drafting a constitution and making a constitution are not the same. |
7lives:When are you going to overcome: Herdsmen issue, Boko Haram issue, banditry, adoption of Islamic Sharia criminal laws in a society of plural religious faiths, the issues arising from the rigged and lopsided political structure created by northern soldiers; the constitution supervised by northern soldiers? The Igboho’s are more brilliant than you. Abeg, take your eyes off the secessionists in the east. I am aware that religion has blinded many MURICS in the SW to look forward to Sokoto Caliphate for way forward, not to anyone in the SW. |

Nobody will give 10% that will end up as idle funds in Texas Bank like that of late Gen. Azazi . He that's not faithful in little won't be faithful in many. Besides, PIB is not only about tax and extra-constitutional payment that can be challenged and quashed by the courts. The original 13% derivative is for the host communities but governors hijacked it and started using it for buying loyalty through political patronage. That 3% alone is a lot, some communities are very few in population and the children don't go to school again because of this oil free cash mentality
