2 Robbery Suspects Ablaze For Attempted Phone Theft In Imo Community (Graphic Photo)

Angry villagers have set ablaze two robbery suspects caught robbing a woman of her Android phone in Akuma Community in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State, IgbereTV reports.

The incident occurred Sunday evening, February 7, at Afor Akuma Market square, where the woman had gone to buy something.

It was gathered that the three-man gang, who allegedly operated on a motorcycle stopped in front of the woman, pointed a gun at her and ordered her to hand over the Android phone to them. But she refused and instead raised an alarm which alerted villagers.

The villagers, most of who were watching football from a nearby viewing center, mobilized against the robbers and attacked them.

While one of them managed to escape, the other two were caught, beaten to a pulp and taken to the market square where they were set on fire by the mob.

According to the villagers, the suspects were said have operated from Umutanze Community in Orlu Local Government Area and were notorious for robbing a Bet9ja outlets and other business centers in the community of huge sums of money in recent months.

This said, the best way to deal with this is diplomacy. Not fighting and taunting the other party. As FFK rightly said, not all Fulanis are criminals. It is often alleged that ibos are fraudsters while yorubas are ritualists, would that justify Northerners slaughtering the millions of ibos and yorubas in the North doing their legit business? Afterall, prior to this disaster of a president, yorubas and fulanis have been living in harmony for ages. It is better we try and find amicable settlement to the issues at hand rather than instigating violence.

Hello Nairalanders,

I have been having some doubts about my children which I stated in my earlier post but I couldn't summon the courage to do it.

My wife kept giving me reasons to suspect her so I had to man up and take the test secretly. I took the test and samples were submitted few days ago but the doctor said it will take 7 to 10 working days for the results to come back.

Ever since I took the test, I haven't been myself. Am so restless and anxiety is killing me while I keep praying the results comes out favourable as I know it could mark the end of my marriage if there is a bastard among the children.

Men in the house: Can you share your experiences conducting DNA on your children and what was the out come. My hear beat is so loud right no. This is the moment of truth. So help me God.

Update:
While I was at the DNA clinic waiting for my samples to be taken. I saw a couple who came for a different type of DNA test. The lady is two months pregnant while the guy wants to know if the pregnancy is his before assuming responsibility of the baby.

He was charged a million naira for the test and was told to come back for results in two weeks time. I wish I knew this was possible as it would save me from what am currently passing through. Aside the cost implication, I will advise every man to take their pregnant partner for test before assuming responsibility for any pregnancy. I just learnt something new!

Note:
I will update this thread once the result comes in the next few days. I hope I'll be a happy man afterwards.
