PoliticsRe: Abia State Gets A Lucrative Ministerial Portfolio by Onyegecha(f): 4:27pm On Nov 11, 2015
Lucrative to who? From experience, it is to theperson and his family. Why do we make so much fuss about such things? As far as i am concerned, in Nigeria, there are only two factions- the well privileged few and the inconsequential public

PoliticsRe: List Of Nigeria's Worst Performing Governors For October. by Onyegecha(f): 11:22am On Nov 08, 2015
if they did not include Imo state, they are blind. If, on the other hand, any other state is better governed than Imo, their governor must be Satan himself or his worst apprentice

PoliticsThe President Must Hear This!!! by Onyegecha(op): 8:34pm On Oct 05, 2015
This is an SOS from Imo state. I wish to use this medium to appeal to the president of the federal republic of Nigeria to step in and save Imo people from imminent starvation. It is on record that Imo state is one of the states that received bail out fund for the purpose of paying off all debts owed workers and pensioners. The governor selected some people and paid them after slashing their salaries. He then chose not to pay all staff of parastatals, all health staff of all 27 local government areas, all staff of Health management board, all staff of IMSUTH specialist hospital, etc. Please, Imo state needs URGENT RESCUE now! THE SITUATION IS TERRIBLY HORRIBLE. Please, Your Excellency, come over to Imo state and help us as soon as possible.
PoliticsRe: Gov Okorocha Kickstart 1 Community 1 Factory Project by Onyegecha(f): 7:01pm On Sep 04, 2015
My dear, don't shut up. Speak the truth and shame the devils that want Imo state to become a ghost land.

Kenai:
One Community, One Scam.

I fear that this fat, greedy buffoon might just end up ravaging this state beyond repair if left unchecked.
Only the gullible still believe this crook's scams, and I'm glad many have woken up.

Has Mr. Okorocha been able to complete ANY of those phantom 27 general hospitals which he flagged off, pocketed the billions and left as abandoned projects crawling with weeds, dungbeetles and BILLBOARDS bearing his ugly face?

Has Mr. Okorocha been able to pay the 10 month backlog of salaries he owes the starving members of his "Youth Must Work" scam? Has he finally scrapped that failed program or is he still basking in his communist idiocy?

Has Mr. Okorocha been able to explain to the people of Imo the economic importance of the numerous NONSENSICAL statues that now litter the state, starting with that hideous, towering "Akachi" white elephant?

Has Mr. Okorocha been able to complete ANY of the numerous "City gates" he started building since 2011, which now look like erect peniises sticking out from the ground?

What factory is he building? The same buffoon who can't pay salaries?
What factory is he building? The same man who killed off Concord Hotelsjust so his own personal hotel (Lamonde Hotel) would rise without competition?
What factory is he building? The same man who converted a public plot of land at MCC road to his own personal piece so his daughter would build her boutique (House of Freeda) on the plot using state funds?

I just dey look this mooroon!
PoliticsThe Imo Crisis by Onyegecha(op): 7:41am On Aug 30, 2015
The kernel of the crisis rocking Imo state to day is not that Okorocha has refused to pay civil servants, pensioners, contractors, his hired volunteers(youth must work, uniformed vigilante groups, Imo security network and so on) their due for many months. The crux of the matter is that Imo state has been run aground by a mega greedy, clueless, and visionless emperor.

We saw it coming and cried out but some people were hell-bent on foisting him on Imo people by propagating his many lies and facades as credible achievements. I will like to see Abagworo, Berem and their cohorts defend their master's mindless looting of the state's treasury to the point that nothing works anymore.

PoliticsRe: 30 Days In Office: 5 New Governors That Have Started by Onyegecha(f): 3:27pm On Jul 02, 2015
And Okorocha is busy planning how best to punish Imo people for being so gullible that they allowed him to be a second term governor. In Imo state today, it is weeping galore and nothing positive is happening.

We hate each other and celebrate the misfortunes of others not of our tribes. Where is the binding cord? Please FACE THE FACT. WE SHOULD START THINKING SERIOUSLY OF PARTING IN PEACE

PoliticsWas Nigeria Created To Fail? by Onyegecha(op): 8:53am On May 02, 2015
An erudite scholar and historian once told me that Nigeria was created to fail. As i reflect on current issues , i tend to believe this assertion. Our biggest problem is not corruption but tribalism. It is a problem that has no solution, mainly because our leaders have not yet found the courage to review the status of the mighty problem called Nigeria bequeathed to them.
You cannot cure tribalism because it is not a disease. It is an expression of natural affinity to one's roots. It is a great virtue to love one's people and one that should be encouraged. Unfortunately, for Nigeria to survive and thrive, tribalism has to go. There lies our problem. The typical Yoruba man can never accept the Igbo man as his brother. The Igbo must see the Hausa as his problem. The same applies to every other tribe.
When people steal public funds, they are protected by their own tribesmen, so they don't get to pay for their crimes.

Niger Delta insurgency has started again because there is a change of leadership that they are not comfortable with. When will this vicious circle end?
Why can't we tell ourselves the truth? This country is not working as it is. We must do the right thing which is to run a true confederation or split peacefully and enjoy true indepence and self determination.
PoliticsPrivatization Wahala by Onyegecha(op): 8:46pm On Apr 28, 2015
Enugu Electricity Distribution Company is a colossal failure; a cesspit of incompetence, corruption and insensitivity. I wonder what the whole idea of privatization is. I am curious about other parts of the countrry. Do they enjoy a better deal than the South East?
PoliticsRe: The Orator by Onyegecha(f): 8:27am On Apr 04, 2015
Oratory is not just about saying whatever comes to mind without thinking. Yes, he knows how to tell people what they want to hear but he is going down in history as the maximum ruler(dictator) that committed the greatest number of blunders in the history of modern civilization. He is an apology and i pity any society where such a clueless man is leader.

Yes, the poster got it right. I'm sure by tomorrow the papers will carry the details. Rochas is a disgrace to governance. Tufiakwa!!!

tswitch:
In as much as I don't like Rochas or his political party......the onus falls on you OP to provide a credible source to this information as this act alone will cause the APC to lose needed votes in the SE.

Striking. They are all women. Anyway, in our villages here, we have people that these five should be calling deede(mark opf respect for elders), only that we did not have literacy by that time as to document their birth.
PoliticsRe: List Of Mineral Resources In The North by Onyegecha(f): 8:01am On Feb 06, 2015
The North is cursed with bad leadership. They have been in power more than any other zone and yet they remain the poorest and most confused. Why couldn't one of their leaders ensure that one or more of these minerals were fully explored to enhance the living standards of the ordinary man? Even if they do so today, we know what will happen. A few Alhajis will corner the wealth and others will gladly line up to eat breakfast in their houses. The northern people need to wake up and reject the system that pauperizes them and makes them content to wait for heaven before they can enjoy the good life.

PoliticsRe: Women Spread Wrappers On The Ground For Imo's Next Governor To Walk On (video) by Onyegecha(f): 5:12pm On Feb 05, 2015
Their ticket(iheanacho and Iyke ibe) is the most credible we have seen in Imo so far. We call them the captain and the compass. I wish they will be as strong as they are credible in the campaigns.
PoliticsThe True Meaning Of Cluelessness by Onyegecha(op): 7:29am On Jan 20, 2015
President Jonathan should not take the trophy for cluelessness in governance. Rochas Okorocha should. At least the president has got some systems working, and that is no mean feat. The agricultural reforms, the revamping of rail transport, some youth empowerment initiatives that have been sustained are some proofs that he has a vision and a road map, even though it is not adequate.

To get a true picture of cluelessness in governance, one needs to come to Imo state, the grand theatre of the absurd where the chief executive builds structures that he has no idea what they will be used for. ICAPS Egbu Road, Parliamentary quarters opposite Concorde Hotels, street gates in new Owerri are just a few examples.

Cluelessness is when a man destroys the local government system and introduces a community government council that is dead on arrival.
Cluelessness is when a governor does not know the importance of circulars in the day to day running o government business, preferring to issue oral directives in all dealings with workers, including contracts.

Cluelessness is when a governor majors on the minor and relies of empty slogans to make up for his ineptitude. I kuona nkwu , health at your doorstep and other such jargons remain slogans till today.

Cluelessness is when a governor shuns protocol and due process and boasts about things he should be ashamed of.

True cluelessness resides in Douglas House, Owerri, not Aso Rock.
