In sudan,mostly it is the chinese that get the oil and government contracts.the americans and their allies kept pushing for sudan to breakup.they wanted to get the oil in south sudan.

Now that south sudan got its so called independence,the west gets the entire cake with no competition from anyone.it is easier to deal directly with a smaller and less influential south sudan than dealing with sudan itself.while the south sudanese are happy for the 'independence' they got and thanking the west for the 'support',the west is paying itself and ripping the south sudanese apart.just recently,israel made a military base in south sudan.colonialism and slavery all again.with such intimidating presence,do you think the south sudanese would have any influence or say in their own land?well it is only those who see the west as 'infallible' and 'angelic' that would feel happy with such development.

If our minister of foreign affairs is not sleeping,he should summon the american ambassador immediately,warn him or even expel him.if the US truly got intelligence report,the americans should share it with our authorities and not in the media to further add turmoil and destroy Nigeria.their action shows that their intention is ill.

The earlier countries in the world that have suffered colonialism and exploitation follow the steps Iran took in 1979 to shut down the US embassy in Tehran for good and cut ties with Washington,the better.as far as they have a running embassies that would serve as a hub for spies and diplomatic staff doing work against the interest of Nigeria,we should not expect peace anytime soon.

all the countries outside the arabian peninsula that dentify themselves as "arabs" presently are not purely arabians ethinically and have their distinct ethnic and racial make-ups.in other terms,they are mostly not ethnically arab.they have more genes from the local populations of those areas before the arabian conquests than with the arabians who came with islam to meet them and blend with them and give them the arab identity.you can check wikipedia on such peoples mentioned in the below paragraph.

Peoples presently such as Palestinians,Syrians,and Lebanese are levantine.they are descended from the canaanite tribes and also the israelites later on.also,conquering peoples such as the roman,greeks,persians,and others left their genes behind and blended.up till the 16th century Aramaic was still the spoken language in present-day syria ,lebanon and palestine.when the arabians came too,they blended but they left their mark to be the dominant as they changed the identity of many peoples.

the arabian conquests brought a policy of assimilation otherwise known as arabization or islamization where local populations were sucked and then gradually their language and culture fades away for the arabian identity which became more pronounced as the locals adopted it and identify themselves with it.a similar event took place in Latin american countries who speak spanish but are not spaniard purely.they are a blend of the locals and indigenes such as the indian tribes and the africans slaves and the white spanish/european colonial masters whose spanish identity is dominant in latin america.in places like persia (presently iran) and turkey,the peoples were not assimilated and they maintained their cultures and languages.

this is really the reason why those who presently identitfy themselves as "arabs" do look different from each other.take for example the looks of a more white looking lebanese and the looks of a black looking sudanese.the difference is striking yet both claim to be "arab".the arab identity is more of cultural and linguistic than ethnic.


the same was applied in north africa.the arabians met the egyptians,and northern african tribes and assimilated them.the libyans may look fairer than us purely blacks but definitely they are mostly not pure-bred arabians in terms of ethnicity.they have berber and black african origins mixed with arabian looks.indeed the spread of islam changed many things and mixed things up and brought many different peoples together under one language and faith to identify themselves as "one nation".

The next war with Israel will start in Tel Aviv, not on the northern border, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah warned on Friday, the Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper reported.

“If Israel decided to wage a war against Lebanon, we will not only break the Israeli soldiers’ bones, we will smash them,” Nasrallah was quoted as saying during a meeting with Hezbollah members.

"The war would be waged without any red lines, and [Hezbollah] would in return commit to the new equations,” Nasrallah said.

Israel is reportedly planning to launch its third war against Lebanon, exploiting the regional countries' current heightened preoccupation with their domestic upheavals.


“[The Lebanese resistance movement of] Hezbollah is in a state of alert and it anticipates an Israeli attack on Lebanon at any moment,” Lebanon's English-language newspaper The Daily Star reported on Thursday, citing an exclusive report by Al Joumhouria, another domestic daily.

According to the Arab-language newspaper's sources, Israel sees the 'regional situation' as an opportunity to wage the hostilities.

The reported developments take place amid ongoing anti-regime popular uprisings in Libya, Yemen, Bahrain, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, which have been inspired by successful Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions earlier in the year.

Al Joumhouria cited political sources close to Hezbollah as saying the resistance movement had -- in preparation to confront the Israeli offensives -- amassed a wide range of ammunitions, including thousands of rockets, advanced anti-aircraft weapons as well as long-range, surface-to-air, and surface-to-sea missiles.

Tel Aviv launched wars on Lebanon in 2000 and 2006. About 1,200 Lebanese, most of them civilians, were killed in the 33-Day War of 2006.

On both occasions, however, Hezbollah fighters defeated the Israeli forces and Tel Aviv was compelled to withdraw its troops without having achieved any of its objectives.

Hezbollah has announced that it has the capability to hit targets deep inside Israel and to strike Israeli Navy vessels even before they reach Lebanese territorial waters.

In July 2010, Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said the movement knew which locations to target if Tel Aviv waged another war on the country.

"We now hold a large and precise bank of Israeli targets, and Israel will have to pay the price for any step it takes," Qassem told the Arab-language Al Nahar daily.

Al Joumhouria also said that Hezbollah's capabilities in the battleground now equaled those of Israel's, enabling the movement to even deter Israeli Air Force at high altitudes.

The Daily Star reported earlier in the year that Israel had been building up its military capabilities since the end of the 2006 war by introducing new weapons such as a multi-tiered anti-rocket missile system and a tank protection system into its arsenal.

US diplomatic cables of 2009 released by the whistleblower website WikiLeaks show that Israel expects the next war to last two months.

The Arab-language daily noted that Hezbollah members had been partaking in periodical training and service to ensure readiness of such levels, which enables them to confront the enemy, should the war break out as soon as the next day.

A new opinion poll shows that more than two-thirds of the Muslim world believes US accusations about Tehran's involvement in a plot to assassinate the Saudi Arabian envoy to Washington are fabricated.


According to the Sunday results of the online survey conducted by Doha-based Al-Jazeera news network, with a sampling of 11,556 people, over 65 percent of the respondents said they consider US claims against Iran unfounded and baseless.

Some 35 percent of the surveyed individuals said they believed in the alleged Iranian plot to kill a Saudi diplomat in Washington.

Last Tuesday, the US Justice Department accused Iran of plotting to assassinate Saudi Arabian Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir, with help from a suspected member of a Mexican drug cartel.

Tehran says the media hype created by Washington is an attempt to deflect international attention from the anti-corruption and anti-corporatism protests currently rocking the country.

Iran's envoy to the UN, Mohammad Khazaei, has filed a complaint against the US for what he called the “evil plot.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has described the US accusation as an immature scenario and says US officials will ultimately be forced to apologize.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei warns the US and its allies against any unwise action against Tehran, stressing that such a move would receive a strong response from Iran.


The Leader was referring to Washington's accusations regarding Iran's alleged involvement in a plot to assassinate Saudi Arabian Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir, with help from a suspected member of a Mexican drug cartel.

“If US authorities are harboring certain fantasies they should know that inappropriate moves, whether political or security in nature, will receive a decisive response from the Iranian nation,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in an address to thousands of students and academics in the western city if Kermanshah.

The Leader said that the US had created the recent hype to overshadow the spread of the Occupy Wall Street protests in its cities.

“The people of at least 80 countries have supported this advancing movement, and this is very bitter and difficult for US authorities,” IRNA reported on Sunday.

Ayatollah Khamenei also touched upon US efforts to crackdown on the protests, saying, “They (the US administration) might suppress the movement with [the aid of] police forces and the army, but it will not be over.”

The Leader said the real source of the problems of Western nations is the submission of Western leaders to Zionism.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the day that Western nations realize this Zionist influence, “the flames of their wrath will scorch the arrogant [powers'] capitalism and turn it to ash.”

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has strongly denied the US accusations claiming that Tehran was involved in a plot to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Washington.


In a statement issued on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry said the US administration is responsible for escalating tension and undermining international security through its propaganda campaign against Iran.

International conventions require that the governments in question be informed beforehand when such charges are made against their citizens, but US officials have violated these legal norms and taken no steps in the right direction, the statement added.

“According to international conventions, any accusation against individuals or nationals of a country must be communicated to the respective government to seek explanation and cooperation. Despite the request made by the Islamic Republic of Iran and… international conventions, the US administration has taken no action in this regard,” part of the statement read.

The Iranian-born Texas man allegedly involved in the plot has lived in the United States for the past 16 years and has had no connection whatsoever with the Iranian government, according to the statement.

A senior Iranian lawmaker has blasted the recent American anti-Iran publicity campaign as “ridiculous,” suggesting that the Saudi ambassador to Washington is too cheap a target for any assassin to pursue.


“Even the international community did not buy the recent terror allegations against Iran, since it is just so ridiculous for the Islamic Republic of Iran to plot against the Saudi ambassador, who is worthless for Iran,” said Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chairman of Iran's Majlis (parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, on Saturday.

Last week, the US Justice Department accused Iran of involvement in a plot to assassinate Saudi Ambassador to Washington Adel Al-Jubeir with help from a suspected member of a Mexican drug cartel.

Boroujerdi noted that although the US has launched a massive media campaign and sought help from its allies to create a scenario against Iran, all its efforts have ended in failure.

“Iran is recognized in the world as a country which has fought terrorism and is a victim of terrorism itself,” the senior legislator argued.

Boroujerdi pointed to the recent wave of awakening in the West and said Washington's recent allegations against Iran were aimed at diverting the world public opinion from the growing “Occupy Wall Street” protests across the US.

The anti-corporatism protests against corporate and banking corruption, poverty and social inequity erupted in New York about four weeks ago and then spread across the entire US.

The movement has now hit many other countries worldwide, including the European Union member states which have been severely affected by the bloc's ongoing financial crisis.

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blasted new US publicity stunt against the Islamic Republic, arguing that cultured nations such as Iran never need to resort to terror.


"Terror is your trait," insisted the president, indirectly addressing US statesmen Sunday morning. "The cultured people of Iran have no use for terror."

The stern remarks of the Iranian president came at the second session of the fifth term of Iran's student parliament in Tehran, where he also said, "They (the US) make daily efforts to conceive scenarios against Iran, and in this instance they accused Iran of terrorism, but it should be clarified for them that terror is the work of those that have no culture."

The president then emphasized that the key objective behind all these pressures against the country is to impede the progress of the Iranian nation and to ensure that it does not become intellectually and culturally powerful.

In its latest measures against Iran, the US on Tuesday accused Tehran of involvement in a plot to assassinate Saudi Ambassador to Washington Adel Al-Jubeir with help from a suspected member of a Mexican drug cartel.

Referring to the recent anti-Iran scenario created by the US, Ahmadinejad said that, unlike the American officials, the Iranian nation does not need to resort to assassinations.

Iran has categorically denied the accusation, saying the recent US plot allegation is a “ludicrous” claim based on the joint US-Israel posture against the Islamic Republic.

On Saturday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the US administration is responsible for escalating tension and undermining international security through its propaganda campaign against Iran.

Iran is a predominantly Shia country.boko haram (ahlus-sunnah wal ja'ma lidawati wal jihad) as evident from their name is a Sunni group with salafist/wahhabi leaning just like al-qaeda.even the USA has failed to find any connection between al-qaeda and its affiliates and Iran due to their ideological differences.Iran mostly sponsors resistance movements to israeli occupation such as hezbollah in lebanon and palestinian factions.also,hezbollah is a Shia organization and hails from predominantly shia south and east lebanon.

if all muslims were Shia or have a leadership like that in Iran bacteria-like groups like boko haram and even alqaeda wont exist.among the Shia there are strong leadership structures and members do not act without religious backing from such shia prominent leaders who exist in the open.also,you find that if there is no substantial threat and cause to defend themselves,these leaders do not send their followers on terror sprees.

what happened was those arabians that moved out of arabia were the governors of the conquered lands with their few hundreds soldiers.they governed and ruled the conquered peoples and intermarried.they also gave them religion with a "holy language",arabic.

over generations,the majority of the conquered peoples became arabized and muslims.

The children in the diaspora are industrious and make riches for themselves and help develop foreign lands. Only for the foreigners to start killing them out of envy.

The children decide to return to Nigeria. After all home is home as bad as Nigeria is.

if they want to return to nigeria,and nigeria is not big enough to support them,what happens?

also,would those that were out of nigeria thousands of years disposses those in nigeria who have maintained their presence? will they drive those already in nigeria because they have changed culturally and have a new religion and language?

lets assume ghana conqueres nigeria.would those outside tell the nigerians who have ghanainize to leave and go to ghana?

1) can the children return to their homeland?

if they have a house,fine.but they will not return with guns and tell those who already have houses to leave.that is what happened in palestine.the jews who were living in europe and elsewhere for thousands of years before the arabian conquest,thanks to roman deportation and others,came back to palestine to forcefully evict their brothers in palestine who have arabized and majority of them practice islam and christianity.it cannot work like that.

2) can the children's children return to their homeland?

they can return to their homeland,but not by dispossessing millions already there and replacing them with the millions living outside.

for example there are 7 million lebanese and people of lebanese origin living in brazil.lebanon has a population of four million lebanese.would those in brazil suddenly return and tell the 4 million to leave by bulldozing their houses and grabbing their lands as the jews did in palestine?

that is madness!!!

3) who is the owner of the homeland. The children or the oppressors?

who are the "oppressors".it was the babylonians and romans that forced the jews into exile.

the minority arabian conquerors assimilated the majority people living in the levant including jews and samaritans and turned them to arabs and muslims.the arabs came to spread religion while the romans and the other kingdoms were after worldly possession and power solely.

also,if we are to look at who is the owner of the land,then on what basis are jews the "owners"?we know from history and the bible that Abraham,from whom the jews claim descent was promised the holy land when he was far away from the land known as palestine and people (canaanite tribes) were already there living before him.so how do you define "ownership"?

even the ancestors of the jews,did not originate from palestine but came from somewhere else.in other words even their ancestors were settlers.

4) can such a scenario ever happen in Nigeria or is it already happening?

those outside cannot come in millions with guns and weapons to drive people already living in nigeria.
