Politics › Your Clamor For Independence Will End Up To Be Cries Of Siege: Biafra Is Failure by Onyocha(op): 8:48pm On Jun 19, 2017
These are the reasons why I believe Biafra will not succeed and igbos have no way to succeed in creating their own country. In fact, if eventually igbos are given their own country, it will be so full of hunger, division, and conflict that they may eventually beg for the northerners to return and rule over them.

When you hear northerners begging the FG to let igbos go, consider the below reasons. Pay close attention at no. 4!

1.) if Biafra is to happen, it will be limited to five states. Nigeria will not hand over the Niger delta to the igbos even if the south south will eventually get its own independence on a different date and separately. What the north will not have, the igbos cannot get.

2.) Niger deltans either do not want to be part of Biafra or will eventually not want to remain in Biafra. That means conflict and even bloodshed. If the igbos think their Biafra will be a mini version of Nigeria where they will have hegemony over the Niger delta, and its oil, that is Satan dreaming of making it to heaven.

3.) the international community have nothing to gain from Biafra. And it will never want bloodshed and conflict that will send oil prices skyrocketing due to conflict between igbos and Niger deltans.

4.) if Nigeria is to allow the five Igbo states to conduct referendum today and give them independence, Biafra will literally be like Lesotho. A country within a country. (If you do not know how Lesotho looks like, please check you world map. It is a country inside South Africa; and Nigeria or neighbors won't be to Biafra what South Africa is to Lesotho). Nigeria can close its borders with a thick fence and close its airspace to Biafra of five Igbo states. Literally, your clamor for independence will end up being cries of siege. It will be hunger and poverty.

5.) igbos of five states clamoring for independence is not geographically feasible. It is like kanuris in parts of the north asking for independence. Your landmass is poorly situated. It's not even about the size. Your Biafra of five states is inside another country if your dream ever come to pass.

6.) the north can feed itself and Biafra cannot. Arable land is in abundance in the north and the north has been a bastion of agriculture.

7.) the north is a big market economically. It's landmass and population means big business. It is a big consumer market. That is money.

With your independence turning into a siege, you're literally finished. No agriculture of the north and no Niger delta oil for you and in an hostile environment, you are doomed. And this doom will also affect others. Therefore your Biafra project is aimed at destruction for everyone. To bring down the house on everyone's heads; and that is why many will stand against it to prevent such destruction from happening.

And far from being peaceful, no partition goes smoothly in places with ethnic and religious divisions and rivalry. Take example of India and Pakistan.

The best bet for igbos is to forge alliances across the nation and even go as far as mending fences with the north. People like okorocha and Amaechi have done well in that line of building bridges with the northerners.

You can clamor for restructuring or whatever it is called. Division of Nigeria will not end with a Biafra of anything more than five states. It will witness multiple divisions in both the south and the north. It could see continuos wars, famine and starvation which will be rampant in the north. Five states with 30 to 40 million igbos will be too populated with little sustenance or means for survival.

You will definitely not eat your cake and have it after asking for division. And that's where the north is hitting hard by asking igbos to leave. Such divisions means igbos starting from ZERO. You can't ask for your country and still try to live, and work elsewhere and want to control lands of other minorities.

As Nigeria is, it is not a land of a majority. It is a land of minorities. Add the biggest three ethnic groups, and the minorities will end up being more in terms of numbers.

And if the inevitable happens, igbos will be on their own. Both the middle belt and the south south or the Niger delta will not come to the help of igbos or want to die for igbos to have a country to dominate. Whether in Nigeria, in Biafra or in small independent countries, those ethnicities in the Middle East belt and in the Niger delta will remain minorities. Corruption cuts across ethnic groups. So what would they really stand to gain by dying for igbos? The igbos will end up besieged and beaten again if the inevitable (war) happens and may God forbid that.

Those few voices outside the five Igbo states cheering the igbos to secede will be no where to be found if the worst happens. The northerners will literally have a picnic in the south east, again! It will be really messy for igbos and they may never ever recover or survive as a group again. In fact, after such loss and dent to their image, anything Igbo may end up being treated like pariah. So those with much adrenaline flowing in their blood should think well before following the loud mouth of Kanu who may well end up proven to be an empty barrel.

Secession and partition are not child's play. I fully believe that self determination is human right. But in time of conflict, human right is abused. And how worse if the abuses and divisions are a never ending spiral? More or less a Pandora box! Half bread is better than none. Greed is a vice not a virtue.

You believe that politicians keep their words?
Not an issue of keeping word. The crucial part is for the VP to resign first. Since the president is seen as a man of integrity, then he's appointing someone he trusts who will reappoint Osinbanjo. Both Osinbanjo and the north will have themselves preserved.

If this arrangement will see the light of the day,

I have a strong feeling we may have President Buhari choose Magu and Osinbanjo or Daura and Osinbanjo.

You can give your suggestions too!

If the president cannot continue to govern due to ill health, or if it is medically certain he can't complete his tenure, the entire problem and sentiments surrounding how to have a northerner replace Buhari can be solved by Buhari himself. All the talk about Osinbanjo contesting in 2019 or not to give the north a chance can be settled by Buhari himself if the interest of the country is put first.

This is what I think the president and the vice president should do.

Osinbanjo should resign. Buhari should pick a northerner whom he trusts and has the confidence of the north as VP. Then within days Buhari should resign whether now or towards 2019 if he's sure of not contesting. Then the northern VP becomes president and chooses Osinbanjo as his VP. Thus, life continues like nothing ever happened. The northerner can contest in 2019 and 2023 and Osinbanjo will finally replace him in 2026.

It needs men who are ready to put the interest of the country first and are ready to Stabilize the polity.

This has got nothing to do with religion. For your info the president of Lebanon is Christian. If I'm not mistaken, the minister of economy and trade on whose order the ban came may likely be Christian too.

This has to do with national interests, pride etc.

Just as Israel wouldn't showcase a movie that is acted by an enemy combatant, Lebanon is right. Imagine an Isis terrorist being lead actor in a movie as the good guy and showcasing it in cinemas.or Shekau acting a movie as a good man and showing the movie in silver bird cinemas grin. To Lebanese this woman and her fellow IDF soldiers are terrorists! lebanon and Israel are still officially at war. No formal peace agreement

This actress was an Israeli soldier and she took to Facebook to justify the killing of women and children in Gaza by claiming that Hamas are cowards who hide behind women and children.

I think Adamu Adamu is not a follower of Zakzaky or a member of the IMN, even though he's Shia Muslim. However, Zakzaky still remains a Shia cleric and respected personality for whom shia all across the world staged solidarity rallies for after the Zaria Massacre in December, 2015.

‘Shame on you’ – Fani-Kayode blasts Adamu Adamu for serving in Buhari’s government

By John Owen Nwachukwu on May 29, 2017

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has called out Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu for working with a government “that is killing and incarcerating Shiite Muslims.”

Recall that the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, Sheikh Ibrahim El Zakzaky and his wife Zeenat has been in the DSS custody.

Fani-Kayode said instead of working with the government, the Education Minister should seek ways to secure release of his leader and his wife.

He wrote on Twitter, via @realFFK, “Adamu Adamu is Minister of Education.

“He is a Shiite Muslim. How can he serve in a govt. that slaughters and commits mass murder against his Shia brothers and sisters and that mutilates and blinds their leader and locks him and his wife up illegally and indefinitely. Shame on him!

“It is the will and law of God to fight for freedom, equity and justice. Our cause is just.
“What we must NOT do is use violence or shed blood.”

Now away from these distractions to main event which is determining the strength of a nation's military. Sometime ago, I read about the 6-day Israeli-Arab war. I wouldn't rule out a 'miracle' where such a small nation that was less than a year old could stand against 6 giant Arab nations and defeat them. If you are quite conversant with the history of Israel, you will know that they have a divine backing kind of. But again, they went on offensive; they fought with all their might.
mythology.

in 1967, israel was not one year old.

since israel claims to be ancient, why was it formed "again"?

the greatest military force in the world, the most sophisticated technology, and the greatest regions on earth that benefited from colonial times loot back israel. so if you think it was angels that were fighting the arab armies, you are mistaken. it was the entire western countries, including britain, france and usa. there is no miracle here. if the arabs have the same military might, no miracle will stop them from victory. it is all about planning, hard work and technology. war has been "smart" even before "smartphones" were invented.

the same israel you claim have "divine backing" were no where on the map for over 2000 years until the british passed the balfour declaration.

FULL OF LIES!!!

In my entire life, i have not come across a Shia killing other people because of their faith. when it comes to the definition of terrorism, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. dont forget that both Mandel and Gandhi were seen as terrorists in their days. the ANC (African National Congress) was a designated terrorist organization by the White Apartheid regime because the ANC fought for Black freedom. leave the political struggles for land and supremacy. what i know is that Shia do not attack churches and Sunni mosques. i have never heard of that. that is what in my view is terrorism: when innocent people are harmed for nothing but the beliefs they choose to follow.

Iran never threatened to wipe Israel off the map. check Youtube and the deputy Prime Minister of Israel acknowledging that Nejad was misquoted through mistranslation.

check Youtube videos too for "Christians in Iran" and "Sunnis in Iran".

the oldest churches in the world are found in Iran. Christians hold mass and worship freely. in saudi both the Holy Bible and the cross are banned materials. there is undoubtedly intolerance everywhere. but those who have perfected the shame of religious intolerance and perfected it into an art are none other than Sunni Wahhabis. in Iran bother Sunnis and Christians are represented in the Iranian government and parliament as minority groups. they have fixed minimum quotas of representation no matter whether or not they have enough votes. Shiites form at least 20% of Saudi Arabia, and the oil Saudis boast of is found on their land (in Eastern Saudi). is there one Shia minister in Saudi?

get your facts straight. not everyone on nairaland is an illiterate.

Imam urges El-Zakzaky’s release

By Abbas Jimoh | Publish Date: Jan 21 2017 2:00AM

The Chief Imam and Abuja Branch Missioner of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), Alhaji Sharafudeen Abdulsalam Aliagan, has urged the federal government to immediately release the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as the Shiite sect, Sheik Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, in the interest of peace and justice.

He gave the advice yesterday in Abuja when he led a delegation to the corporate headquarters of Media Trust to appreciate the translations of the weekly Friday Khutbah (sermons) in the Aminiya title of Daily Trust newspapers.

He said the government should carry out a holistic research on the activities of the group and what they wanted to achieve to be able to understand and relate with them.

“All matters can be resolved peacefully. He (El-Zakzaky) should be released, especially that a court has given a judgement on that. We don’t want an untoward happening over his detention,” Aliagan said.

He also said despite the efforts of the Sultan of Sokoto and President of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, Nigerian Muslims were yet to be as united as expected, as some common challenges that should have been resolved long ago still exist.

JohnXcel:
You think Buhari is the one holding him...let me tell you something, GOD is the one holding El-zakzaky through Buhari.
Such a view is exceedingly dangerous, extreme and fanatical. Is Buhari, Allah's prophet?

Jammeh also believes God speaks to him and tells him when to give up power and when to change his mind to stay.

North Korean leader believes, In fact, that the universe should worship him. He claims divinity to himself.

George W. Bush claimed that God asked him to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam and launch a crusade.

And now we have God is holding Zakzaky through Buhari.

In your view, God must really have lot of time to pay such big attention to Zakzaky and use soldiers to murder his six sons; when killing them in their sleeping would've caused a bigger uproar.

When you abuse the name of God and claim the actions of fallible men are acts of God, you're attributing divinity to men and justifying evil and attributing it to God. In that way every evil can be justified as an act of God.

Please stop. Whatever religion you follow, most likely Wahhabism, you should stop. There are many instances of evil that have befallen Muslims that can easily be claimed to be "punishment of God" too. Don't forget that Israel stole Palestinian land and kills them on behalf of God too! Some have even said the current economic recession is an act of God and we should pray!!!

This line of thinking of attributing the actions of men to God can't be more ridiculous than it already sounds. Please stop it or else God will prove to you what is from Him and what really isn't!!!
Politics › Re: El-zakzaky's Wife Not In Detention, Keeping Her Husband's Company — Presidency by Onyocha(op): 9:11pm On Jan 19, 2017
This is very funny indeed.

A court has ordered you to release her along with her husband and you claim she's free to go but only keeping company of her husband while you are keeping her under lock.

The new standard of human rights in vogue is that your wife can now keep you company in prison. grin

The real reason the woman won't be allowed to go is because if she's free she would reveal many things.

And as funny as the claim sounds, even though nonsense, the woman may not want to depart from the husband's presence but would like to keep an eye on his wellbeing. So she may not want to leave him in prison and entrust him to those keeping him. But really, if the government want to set her free, they won't mind her choice or opinion anyways. It's not like they took her where she is by her consent in the first place.

El-Zakzaky's wife not in detention, merely keeping her husband's company — Presidency

By Isiaka Wakili | Publish Date: Jan 19 2017 4:30PMThe Presidency has said that the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, cannot be released from detention because of public interest and security concerns, adding that El-Zakzaky''s wife is not in detention but merely keeping her husband''s company "in the apartment in which he is kept".

The Presidency has said that the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, cannot be released from detention because of public interest and security concerns, adding that El-Zakzaky's wife is not in detention but merely keeping her husband's company "in the apartment in which he is kept".

A top Presidency official who did not want to be named, disclosed this to State House correspondents on Thursday.

According to him, the issue of the release of El-Zakzaky is not exclusively legal as it has security and public interest as against individual interest undertone.

On the said detention of El-Zakzaky's wife along side her husband, the official explained that the wife was not of any security interests and therefore was merely keeping her husband's company "in the apartment in which he is kept.

"She is not under detention. If it is her wish, that of her husband or of the IMAN, she will allowed to go home in a matter of hours," the official said.

He explained that El-Zakzaky's wife was picked up by the Department of Security Services (DSS) beside her husband with bullet wounds following IMAN's encounter with the army.

"They took her along with the husband, treated her wounds and allowed her to care for her husband. Upon his request on an occasion, the children joined them during Ramadan. That is what happened," the official said.

Amnesty International seeks release of El-Zakzaky as 45-day ultimatum expires

By Daily Nigerian -

January 15, 2017

The Amnesty International Nigeria has asked the Nigerian government to comply with the order of a Federal High Court by releasing the leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

The foremost rights campaigners said in a statement by spokesman Isa Sanusi, that the 45-day deadline given for their release expires today.

“The Nigerian authorities must immediately comply with a High Court order and release the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife from detention,” said Amnesty International.

“El-Zakzaky, and his wife Malama Zeenah Ibraheem, have been in detention without charge for more than a year following a clash between his supporters and the Nigerian military in which soldiers slaughtered hundreds of men, women and children. The authorities claim he is being held in “protective custody.

The statement quoted Makmid Kamara, the Interim Director of Amnesty International Nigeria as saying “The 45 day deadline given for their release expires today. If the government deliberately disregards the orders of its own courts, it will demonstrate a flagrant – and dangerous – contempt for the rule of law.”

“El-Zakzaky is being unlawfully detained. This might be part of a wider effort to cover up the gruesome crimes committed by members of the security forces in Zaria in December 2015 that left hundreds dead,” Mr. Kamara said.

On 2 December 2016, the Federal High Court in Abuja ruled that El Zakzaky and Malama Zeenah Ibraheem should be released within 45 days. The court described their detention, which began in December 2015, as illegal and unconstitutional. The deadline for the court order expires on Monday January 16.

Amnesty International is also calling on the authorities to release other IMN supporters arrested at the same time as El Zakzaky and his wife, who likewise remain in detention without charge.

Background

According to Amnesty International’s research, more than 350 IMN members were killed by security forces between 12 and 14 December 2015 in Zaria, Kaduna State.

The IMN is a Shi’ite religious and political organization whose leader, Ibraheem Yaqub Al-Zakzaky, has been a proponent of Shi’a Islam in Nigeria since the 1980s.

Processions, demonstrations and other activities organized by the IMN, usually without obtaining the necessary permits and at times blocking public roads, have resulted in confrontation with the Nigerian authorities and strained relations with other communities.

CBN please take note of this:

the existence of these BDCs is needless.

the CBN should sell to banks at official rate and let the banks disburse dollars to their customers through their bank accounts at official rate. that can be tracked. that is the only way for the CBN to stop the existence of a so called parallel market or rather black market who only care about their profit at the expense of the national currency.

CBN should sell to banks and banks to their customers through their accounts. that can be monitored. when banks do not have dollars, we know it is not available. no manipulation and hoarding. giving the BDCs only prolongs the problem. when the CBN can make the foreign currencies available to banks to sell officially and at official rate to their customers, then who needs BDCs? of course, this would sound like the BDCs are relevant because there is not enough dollars to satisfy the demand. but truth is the BDCs should source their own currencies away from the CBN. the available dollars given to the BDCs are not helping any matter-not enough to meet demand and not enough to satisfy the greed of the operators. if the banks step in and take up this task and it can be freely obtained (without limits or restrictions) through official channel and at official rate, on first come first serve basis, then at least the greed of the operators is eliminated even though the demand would still be higher than supply for sometime. it will still help things. no manipulation.

A LETTER FROM PRISON

AFRICA, HEADLINESBY NEWSRESCUEJANUARY 11, 2017

My name is Batoul Sa’ad, I am 17 years old. I hail from the ancient city of Kano in northern Nigeria. I just finished my secondary school, seeking to get admission at Bayero University, Kano.

At my tender age, my heart and mind know nothing but peace. I look forward to a happy life, chilling with my friends and family. I enjoy seeing other people laugh, so I do my best to cheer everybody up. I have a dream of living a peaceful and harmonious life.

My dream was shattered on a fateful Monday 14th November, 2016. Being an adherent of the Shi’ah Islamic School of Thought, I prepared to embark on an adventure by trekking from Kano to Zaria in Kaduna State within 7 days, of course, along with many other faithfuls including my dear parents, family members and friends. The trek has become famous in Nigeria as a symbol of commemorating Imam Husain (as) and the family of prophet of Islam, Muhammad (pbuh).

On that fateful Monday Morning as early as 7:00am, we set up for Zaria from Na’ibawa Bridge. The trip startled joyfully, my friends mocking me if I can endure. We were all full of happiness and joy, not knowing the calamity to befall on us.

As we were trekking by the side of the road, I spotted many police vehicles passing through the other lane, full of armed policemen. My heart skipped a beat. I talked to my friend about them, she said I should not worry, God is with us.

A moment later, I saw thick white smoke piercing through the morning sky. I was informed that men of the Nigeria Police Force have attacked the procession and started firing teargas. Soon, a canister fell close to us, and its smoke engulfed us. That was the first time I experienced teargas in my life. The effect was too much for me. I collapsed. I was subsequently put in a car. There were four other girls inside along with three men.

After some time, I heard loud sound of gunshots. We were informed that the police have started firing live bullets. The shooting intensified. As our car passed, I saw many people in blood, apparently shot by the policemen. I was deeply disturbed by what I saw. We reached a town called Karfi, where our driver parked at a nearby mosque due to the intense shooting by the police.

I was sitting in the back seat along with the other four girls. The men were in the front. Suddenly, I saw policemen approaching the car. We hugged each other, crying and praying. When they came close enough, they took positions and opened fire at us. My God! I had never imagined such a situation. The sound of their guns was deafening. I was so terrified hearing bullets piercing through the car. We screamed for help, but our voices were deafened by the continuous gun fire. After what seemed like an eternity, the gunshots stopped. The armed policemen stepped closer, opened the car door and threw all of us on the ground. The three men were all dead. The other girls laid motionless on the ground, all covered with blood. I then discovered that I was shot on the arm and I was bleeding.

When the policemen saw that I was alive, I heard one of them gave instruction that I should be killed because I may expose their action if I get away. With that order, one policeman hit me with his boot. I fell down on my face. He then stepped his leg on my neck, aimed his gun at my back and fired a shot. The bullet pierced through my back, broke my shoulder bone, ruptured my lung, broke two ribs and shattered my right breast.

I cannot describe the pain and agony I felt. I couldn’t find the voice to scream and call my mother for help. I thought that moment would be my last in this world. For a moment, I lost my consciousness.

I woke up to find myself on the ground in an open place, certainly where I was shot. I could see the other four girls. I could not figure out whether they were alive or dead. I then heard one policeman giving orders that we should be burnt so that there will be no evidence of their actions. This made me to raise my head and look up. To further my horror, I saw policemen gathering firewood round us, apparently intending to burn us. I heard the voices of the other girls crying, pleading with them to spare our lives. An old policeman intervened and stopped them.

My ordeal was far from over. A police vehicle was brought. The four of us were bundled up and thrown inside, not minding our injuries. Apparently disappointed that I did not die, the policemen showered abuses on me, calling me all sort of names. One of them said he will make sure that I do not reach their destination alive. Hence, as frail as I am, he laid me down in the vehicle and loaded four dead bodies on top of me. The load was too much for me. I could scarcely breath. I cried and begged them for mercy. They only laughed, certainly enjoying the scene. After a long time, I was transferred to another vehicle along with many injured and dead. We were transported to the Police Headquarters at Bompai.

We were all thrown on the ground. My hardship knew no bound. The pain and agony of my wounds were so much for a little girl like me. I was bleeding through my chest, I was so scared of losing my blood completely. To add up to these, I was very thirsty and needed water dearly. I pleaded with the policemen around to help me with water, but they only mocked at me and said since I refused to die of gunshots, I’ll die of thirst. I had to resort to licking sand in an effort to quench my thirst. We were then taken to their clinic inside the Headquarters. To our disappointment, they only washed our wounds, they did not give us any medicine. I asked a nurse for water, but to my horror, she said she could not give me because the policemen were present, they will not allow it. Later in the evening, we were taken to a detention cell, the type I never imagined I could even visit, let alone to live inside. There were ten of us in one cell, all girls, almost all wounded. At night fall, an elderly police officer sneaked in and brought two sachets of pure water to us. We shared it one per five girls.

NATURE OF MY INJURIES: I was first shot on my arm. The bullet tore the flesh and passed out. The second injury is the worst and life threatening. When I was shot in the back as I explained earlier, the bullet broke my right shoulder bone, broke two ribs, ruptured my lung and pierced through my right breast. As a result of that, I have deficiencies in conducting my life. I can not speak loud, whatever I will say has to be whisper, and I can not cough. I cannot raise my right arm up, and I can only sleep on my left side; not on my back, not on the right side or facedown. I can not wear a dress, I stay half naked throughout everyday, nor can I bath myself, the other girls had to bath me everyday.

You may think that I wrote this letter from a hospital bed or my mother’s lap. Alas! I wrote from the Kano Central Prison where criminals are kept. I am accused of shooting and killing a policeman with a gun. My mind is at lost on how to respond to this cruel charge. The victim has now been transformed to a killer. A frail innocent girl like Batoul Sa’ad will not have the heart to hurt other people, let alone kill a man. Do I even know how to handles a gun?

As you read my letter to the end, please know that a young and injured girl is languishing in prison for no other offence than being a good girl. A girl that lost her smile and charm is longing to feel the warmth of her mother’s heart.

In the event that I die in this detention, please pray for my oppressed soul. Tell my story to your little children and enjoin them to always remember that Batoul Sa’ad was innocent and oppressed.

Thank you.

A Facebook user, Governor Imam Sunmola Olayemi, has made of 'mockery' of the belief in Christendom. According to him, everything about Christianity is a joke. He analysed his words by exemplifying how Jesus came about into the world and how He is the Father and son in himself.

Facebook user Sunmola Olayemi says Christianity is a joke

According to this Facebook user, this is all gibberish and total nonsense because he cannot fathom how a God will allow himself to be killed by the human He created all in the guise of dying for the salvation of all. He also went on to note that every human is a slave of God and that no one is a son of God like the Christians claim. He used some verses of the Holy Bible and Quran to however back up his claims.

Read the controversial post below:

If the educated Christians thinks with perfect sense I believe they will reject Christianity. Christians take Christianity as joke because everything about Christianity is a Joke.

For example:

1: God became a man

2: God created Adam without Father and

Mother but created himself with a Mother

3: God was in the Womb for 9 month and came

out of woman private part

4: God was circumcised

5: God was killed by human being he created

6: God became accursed just to forgive Sins

7: God sacrifice his own blood to himself

8: God had a Son which the Son is the same

God while God is Father and Son of himself

9: God was buried for 3 days and raised by

another God

10: God was lost for 3 days at age of 12 aaahaaa,

All this is Nonsense and a big JOKE. No person with common sense would believe this

Nonsense. Christianity is a Joke and I don't really blame Christians that take it as JOKE because they never found in the BIBLE where Jesus said I brought Christianity or where Jesus called his followers Christians and they cannot even find the Word Bible inside the Bible itself.

Christianity is a Joke.

"Truth (ISLAM) has come and falsehood has vanished, Surely falsehood is ever bound to vanish" (Alqur'an 17:81) WE ARE ALL SLAVES OF GOD NOBODY IS SON, ROMAN 6:20-22

"20For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.

21 Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.

22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. WHY DO CHRISTIENS CALL THEMSELVES "SON OF GOD", WHILE THEY ARE GLARINGLY "SLAVE OF CHRIST"huh? ◄1 Corinthians 7:22 ►

"Parallel Verses New International Version

"For the one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord's freed person; similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ's slave."

Travel › Re: Angry Passengers Beat Up Arik Manager At Lagos Airport (full Video) by Onyocha: 9:27am On Jan 05, 2017
what is more sad than the delay and the fighting is that people see nothing wrong with such jungle justice and fighting in an international airport. they are even cheering.

what the passengers did is very wrong and speaks of thugs. that is why these guys will go to South Africa and try to display such ruthless behavior, lawlessness, and taking law into their hands, and before you know it there are xenophobic attacks or South Africa deports them.

this is violence and it should be condemned even though the airline is also wrong in delaying passengers.

there are better ways to handle arik. one of them is boycott. it will hurt them more than beating up a poor guy who one day could get fired even after getting some beating on arik's behalf. dont fly with them if you know they are bad. and if you insist on flying with them because they are cheaper, then pay for the extra by waiting patiently and accepting their sorry. or highest, go to court and sue them.

what concerns that poor manager? he only got brutalized for decisions he most likely does not make.
Politics › Shiite IMN Spokesman Reacts To President Buhari's New Year Message Of Peace by Onyocha(op): 1:02pm On Jan 01, 2017
PRESS STATEMENT: Stop Beating Around The Bush Mr President; Obey Court Order To Free Sheikh Zakzaky

Sunday, 01 January 2017 11:36

In his New Year message to Nigerians, President Muhammadu Buhari, made an unusual call to those he termed the Shia community, whom he referred to as his “brothers and sisters.” We note the leap in his outlook of the IMN from his infamous “state within a state” gaffe in his maiden Presidential speech to “our brothers and sisters of the Shia Community” all within one year. This is a remarkable feat considering the snail speed his administration has come to be characterized with.

Beyond this however, the President actually evaded the points at issue. His call that we "must accept the laws of the country” we live in should actually have been echoed to him. Have we not challenged all acts of brutality and extra-judicial killing of our members in our law courts peacefully? Even in the face of extreme persecution and provocation, we have followed the laws of the land, not by taking the laws into our hands, or by employing jungle justice or disobeying any legitimate laws of the country, but by seeking redress in law courts, even as we know of the administration’s legendary disregard for court orders.

On the contrary, Mr President, you are yet to obey the court order to release our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, whom you have held in illegal detention, without charges, for more than a year now despite a court order for his release! Mr President, only last week our leading Counsel, Femi Falana (SAN) had written to remind you of that court order through your Chief Law officer, the Attorney-General. Thus, we must ask you to stop begging the question. You should obey the laws of the country you lead by obeying court order to free Sheikh Zakzaky immediately!

Secondly, Mr President, we are not an "island" by ourselves as your speech portrayed. We are well embedded into all aspects of the society, contributing positively in various ways to its success. We have built bridges across both intra and inter-faith divides. We have been bridging gaps across tribal and regional divides. We have been exposing the evil machination of authorities against its very citizens. Is that not the very reason the authorities seek to curtail what they perceive as our glowing influence and impact on the society? When campaign of blackmail and calumny by government and its protégé failed woefully, your government applied maximum and irrational force in attempt to crush us. Again on the contrary, you are more of an island into yourself, detached from reality. You rely on cooked up reports, which you call “intelligence” based on private prejudices that do not reflect reality to formally crystallize into official resentment and hate for a group and its leadership.

We take your call Mr President that the law enforcement agencies must treat us “humanely and according to the rule of law” as a confessional statement and an admittance that hitherto, they've acted inhumanly like beasts. We wish to remind you what our leader said at the inception of your administration, that you should re-constitute and re-orientate the Nigerian Army in order not to inherit “an army that sees citizens as enemies.” This advice to you to bring change in the way the military operated against civilians and the Movement was widely reported in the media. It is still apt.

Finally, we call on the President to stop beating around the bush. He must release Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky immediately as ruled by the Court of the land. We expect him to also order for the immediate release of all those who are still being held in various places of detention across the country since the brutal attack on us. We expect him to take bold steps against the officers that massively killed citizens in Zaria, Kaduna, Kano, Funtua and Sokoto since the onset of the attacks on us in December of 2015. We expect actions to address the matter of victims secretly buried in mass graves. We demand for payment of compensation for lives and property destroyed in the ill-conceived attacks. We await his words of condolences in relation to those extra-judicially killed since the pogrom started.

Taaa... why do you lack understanding?
It is indeed a dismay, that the dictatorial and indecipherable attitude of the president, has led to this colossally cataclysmic multiple uprising, tending towards national anarchism.I am uncommonly overwhelmed, by the economic meanders of this country, and the plausible utterances of the incumbent government, rendering to us, similar platitudes of past administrative leadership. So far the buhari's administration has not shown any level of professional competence in economic matters, the administration is vehemently engrossed with unrepentant nepotism, unmotivated patriotism, non geographical equilibria representation. Acrimoniously fighting deviant's with no germaine proclivities to Foster one Nigeria. This is a government shrouded with fundamentalism and hypocrisy, that professes one Nigeria, while their scope of leadership exudes, (No NIGERIA).This administration is loquacious, ludicrously lugubrious, and a complete ignoramus in economic matters. (He who lacks understanding should ask questions).
Your post needs dictionary. But do you know the meaning of sarcasm.

the above seems to be a drastic shift. Is the statement really made by him?

Shia are now "brothers and sisters".

this is too little and coming too late but however commendable. this should have been said last year during his media chat and it was a mistake for him to have tacitly supported/justified the crackdown that became known as the Zaria Massacre and kept mum all the while while el-rufai was trying hard to provoke chaos in Kaduna and in the north.

this shift will definitely raise several questions. is it caused by the statements issued by the US State Dept., the US and British embassies? is it because the ICC is now actively involved in investigating the Zaria massacre? public and media pressure? pressure by NGOs?

what exactly has changed overnight that Nigerian Shia are now recognized, asked to be treated humanely and called "brothers and sisters" by Mr. President? in a new year message? what is the importance?

or can we say the president was unaware from the beginning of happenings in Zaria? or was kept uninformed? or misinformed? is there a policy reassessment?

time will tell.
