It is simply highly resistant to radiation and and desiccation (extreme drying), that is why it is tagged the world's toughest bacterium.
It also has a unique quality in which it can repair both single and double-stranded DNA. When a mutation is apparent to the cell, it brings it into a compartmental ring-like structure, where the DNA is repaired and then is able to fuse the nucleoids from the outside of the compartment with the damaged DNA.

There have been progress waking up single cells but not a whole organism, so sorry but in the next 20 years, dead men will be raised and there is nothing your God will do about that. 7. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it has always existed and will always exists.
