I'm an enginner the more I study engineering the more I love God not even because of my profession but because God has revealed Himself to me that makes me believe on Him. So matter profession i study that can change me.

Besides, there is really nothing in engineering itself that might make you doubt your white master jesus, since another white master laid the foundation of everything you know in engineering. You dont apply your reasoning, you have no reason to.

cyrexx: Astrophysicists = you can't understand the vastness of our unimaginably gigantic universe and think it's created by some tribalistic Jewish or Arabic god (Yahweh/Allah) who has nothing serious to do but worry about what you believe about him.

Social workers= if your work involves helping people undergoing deep poverty and suffering and those people are sincere believers and followers of god, you can't help but wonder if there any being in the sky who gives a damn whatever happens to humans. Actually, this is part of the things that marked the beginnings of my soul-searching journey toward atheism.

Geologists= you cant have all the evidence of the age of the earth (several billion years)and still think it was created six thousand years ago a god.

True, I also have family members with doctorates and PhDs in material science, life science and psychology who are pastors, reverends and really religious people.

I think that disbelief in god goes deeper than profession but application of reason and logic.

10% cant be atheists, if they were, then we'd have 15 million atheists in Nigeria, I.e 10% of 150 million. So 10 % are traditional worshippers. Atheists makeup about 0.0001%. According to world atheist censures, only 276 atheists are from Nigeria

most professions are already secular. Finance, Engineering, ICT, Law etc, these are already secular jobs that make you forget gods and focus on what matters.

Unless you wanna be a Minister of Atheism specifically, I think most jobs, excluding the religious jobs, are secular enough

mingw is all same, gcc is from free software foundation in usa, neatbeans is both a compiler and ide for many langs, but specifically for java, but fortran, c/c++,php,groovy,apache and even python can be coded and compiled with it. dev c++ is diff from v. studio, who know v. studio? just google dev c++ and you ll download for free, but your best bet is netbeans with cygwin or mingw addons.

gcc migwin or cygwin added to netbeans is the best compiler and editor in history. dev c++ is also good.
