Where are the armchair critics that are fans of LFC? They would have drafted another epistle of how klopp is not good enough and waiting for another opportunity to lamblast their own club! Una try ohh Weldone to the players and our legendary manager for bouncing back from a defeat last weekend to hand Napoli their first loss just like what we did against man city! We move! #ynwa# |
Isn't this getting interesting? Arewa and afenifere group were earlier discarded by APC spokesmen as inconsequential and irrelevant to aid their principal in the next presidential election only to seek endorsements from these same group! Desperation at its peak! |
realestate99:Let's be fair and less sentimental for once! Nigeria had an easy passage to qualify for the world cup but failed woefully to beat a weak and upcoming Ghanaian team! A totally coordinated and focussed team would have destroyed Ghana considering the number of talented players at our disposal! Even the Italian team you made reference to had a harder opposition and up till this moment most of the players don't feel happy that they are watching the world cup at home! Just because you hate obi doesn't in any way mean you must make excuses for mediocrity! |
Anyone that compares China and India to a soccer nation like Nigeria is displaying his deficiency in sports knowledge! Despite the economic prosperity of China and India, they cannot come close to Nigeria in terms of soccer! Maybe gymnastics and table tennis for China and cricket for India! Its a shame we could not qualify for the world cup tournament! A well coordinated and focussed Nigerian team would have dismantled an upcoming Ghanaian team home and away! |
![]() Even before I opened this thread I already knew the originator! Very wicked and vawulence induced comrade ![]() |
For him to pull this sort of crowd in a predominantly known apc state despite being alleged to have been deprived a stadium for the rally shows that he must be taken seriously! Anyone discarding his popularity might need to think again! |
![]() Believe the Nigerian police at your own peril! When the police say 'no cause for alarm or go about your normal activities', that is when you must be prudent and watchful! How a group of bokoharam terrorists made their way into the FCT undetected and walked casually into kuje prison, released their fellow comrade, still had more than enough time to preach and pray to other inmates before leaving without a single security detecting their movement is proof that even abuja is not safe and extremely porous for any criminal activities! |

safesurfer:You will first ask why they are leaving! Is their renumeration package better or worse? What is the cost of living in Nigeria compared to countries they are going to? Do we have enough jobs to cater for most of the doctors or nurses? Why are the doctors given the same hazard allowance amount that was used in the 80s? |
For the very fact that top countries like the UK or Canada accept our Nigerian doctors and even go further to give licence to them proves once again that we have a very good medical training institution but lacking in adequate and substantial remuneration! A doc in UK earns an average sum of 4k pounds monthly which is more than 3 million naira while the ones here can't even get up to a million naira....now you can begin to wonder why parents go at any length to borrow funds in order for their kids who are in the medical field to travel out of the country to Canada or UK! Very soon we might wake up and discover that all the doctors and nurses have left this country! If we do not get things right by voting the right candidate next year, the amount of people that will travel out of Nigeria will be mind blowing and unprecedented! |

Kagd10:This is not facts! This is sheer callowness on display! If the foreign products were done without stable electricity, security, unified tax, accessible roads and low transport cost, their price would have been higher! The reason why there is recommendation for local production is due to its affordability if the conducive environment for production is provided! Now Know this, No local manufacturer can survive in a country where they will have to contend with unstable electricity which will imply that they use the more expensive alternative which is the diesel powered generators! No business can thrive in an environment where the transport cost is high due to the country's dependence on importation of crude oil products that should have been locally made here and sold at an affordable price! No SME can survive in a country where you have multiple taxations, inaccessible roads and insecurity! Once there is an absence of the required ingredients for a conducive environment, the alternative will be chosen which most times is very expensive and causes inflation! Now these are the facts that you are intentionally ignoring.....either because you are unaware or you are just overall uninformed! Simple! |
Kagd10: ![]() Chai guyman you have no idea what you are saying! SMH |
I encourage every unbiased mind to watch the full interview on youtube and listen to his answer to rufai's question instead of this 33 seconds clip that the OP is mischievously trying to portray! This is too low from the OP who is no different from the apc supporters that he keeps lampooning and its all because of his political inclinations towards a corrupt politician that wants to be president by fire by force knowing fully well that this is the turn of the south to be president! SMH |
Treadway:Your comment is long but i get what you are trying to say! Let me see if i can make you understand my point of view explicitly! Pricing of any product or service in any country is basically dependent but not limited to.... Moderate security stable electricity unified tax regime accessible roads low production cost etc Once the highlighted is readily available, the price of any commodity will slowly but surely reduce! There is nothing wrong with local production or any government encouraging such, however local manufacturers of this products will not sell at an affordable rate if the highlighted are missining in any country! I am an advocate for subsidy removal however the FG must first prioritize rehabilitation or building of refineries or give licenses to other players to locally refine before venturing into the removal! |
Kagd10:This is the part where you need to take your advise by being quiet yourself and read below to cover up your obvious callowness! The pricing of a commodity is basically dependent on moderate security, stable power supply, unified tax regime, low transport cost and accessible roads of any country....which is what we normally refer to as a conducive environment for business to thrive! These are the aspects that influence the production cost of any product or service and will instantly drive the price of such commodity down! If our local producers have access to the highlighted, the price of rice or other products will slowly but surely go down! This is why products in countries around us like benin rep, ghana and togo have cheaper products than nigeria because they have those things that Nigeria does not have currently! |
Kagd10:Chai Na wa for una ohh So you think the local manufacturer will cultivate rice with no subsidy on the fertilizer that he purchases, use diesel plants to power the machine that remove stones from the rice and also use machines to bag them while transporting the bags of rice on a diesel powered truck on an inaccessible road and you expect the local manufacturer to still sell his or her products at a reduced price like that of the foreign counterparters whose country have accessible roads, adequate security, constant electricity, reduced transport cost and a unified tax? |

Misleading headline! |
If I were a business man,I won't buy goods from Nigeria that has been affected by a high production cost no thanks to the inability of the government to make the environment conducive for business! I can't out of loyalty for my country buy let's say a bag of rice that is fluctuating between 45-50k and leave out a foreign rice that is currently between 8-15k! Let's keep sentiment aside,no investor or business person will want to make use of our locally made goods that has been inflated as a result of insecurity, unavailable electricity, inaccessible roads, multiple taxation sand very high transport cost! Look at the past few months, most local bakeries have either shut down or laid off workers just to stay afloat due to zero local electricity and 100% dependence on alternative power! |
ZombieSlayer1:The level of ignorance is totally alarming! |
Kagd10:Why are you guys still spinning this stale and false narrative? Even tinubu's TVC journalists and those loyal to asiwaju have debunked this! What was withheld were funds allocated to the LGAs not that of the state! Please make your research properly! |
If the US had not issued this warning, the likes of the IGP and his journeymen will be sipping tea at the office waiting for directives from aso rock before they act! As part of measures for forestall terror attacks, the IGP has directed the commencement of a Counter Terrorism Incident Simulation Exercise codenamed “Operation Darkin Gaggawa”.smh ![]() |
48 LAWS OF POWER 3. CONCEAL YOUR INTENTIONS Keep people off-balance and in the dark by never revealing the purpose behind your actions. If they have no clue what you are up to, they cannot prepare a defense. Guide them far enough down the wrong path, envelop them in enough smoke, and by the time they realize your intentions, it will be too late. |
