Are u saying if Olajumoke was not celebrated then you would be ok with Ayodele not being celebrated? They both deserve to be celebrated so if no one has celebrated Ayo, it does not mean Ola should not be celebrated. After all the world is a beautiful place when we celebrate our diversities. Remember it is not the government that is celebrating Ola and leaving out Ayo(then it would have been an issue and ur complain would have been valid), it is a woman in show biz that spoted a gem and packaged her so well for show biz so intellectuals like Ayo especially u that has been touched so much can also package Ayo. ![]() |
Let us try and set our home right. |
searchiing4love:Pls, I could not make out any meaning from ur post, can u help me out? |
Sunnycliff:Sunny, A Chairman as we know in Nigeria have so many p.a's, even if the chairman was in coma, one of his aids should have communicated to the governor about the chairman's condition knowing that he has an appointment that day with the governor, because i believe the meeting will be officially registered in the chairman's activity schedule for the day so they were all aware of it. I think the chairmen acted irresponsibly. #myopinion. |
I am so surprised at people calling an outstanding and applaudable act by the senate blackmail , if I may ask, the issues spotted and raised by the senate are they not real?? Are the issues not present in the budget? or should they have just overlooked them to please the presidency? na wa for my pple o. |
The problem is an average African country does not believe in herself and in her ability to develop from within, we always believe our messiah is out there in foreign nations. We need to learn how to look inwards first before looking outwards. |
Hope he will not replace the lab attendants with witches oo, if not Osun pple una sorry ooo, una blood don finish b dat, no need for them to fly for night again in search of blood. |

odiereke:DSTV never took you for granted, it is your country and its failed/corrupt and incompetent institutions that took you for granted. Note that DSTV does not operate only in Nigeria, so why are all the rubbish they do here not done in other countries as well ? Remember the saying that "how you make your bed is how you will lye on it". Any time you find any company, industry etc maltreating you, do not be angry with the company rather be angry at your country that has given them that room for misbehaviour. |
GudluckIBB:Pls take out time and ponder -What you wish for Fayose and What he is doing, which will be of true benefit to you. After you have pondered, come back and comment again. |
Henovy: hahaha, e dey pain me oooo Sir. I no dey vex sha because u have told me not to. Gudnite. |
Henovy:Please Sir, which one has your country produced? or what technological export can you boast of by your country? learn to appreciate pples effort towards development, u keep castigating there products like trash when u cannot make a toothpick in ur country. Atleast they will get better with time while ur country is still planning on how to produce toothpicks by 2020. |
This world is getting more and more difficult for humans alone to govern. We seriously need assistance from our creator. |
[quote author=Strahovski1 post=43058301]Well, it's in the old religion it's not really practised any more. Although a few villages still practice it though. The new religion has punishment for both male and female and definitely not stonning[/quote Wow!!!! Sir I salute ur maturity. Ur command of self control even in the face of provocation is Epic. God bless u Sir, ur type is rare. |
aflame100:You are totally right about leaving the past and forging ahead, but that is almost impossible when the government itself constantly floods u with activities of the past(and only negative ones) making it look like there is no hope and plans for the future. You need to play deaf to what this government puts out on a daily basis if u really want to leave the past and forge ahead. |
The wickedness in the heart of men, I always wonder how God is able to still forgive us despite all this atrocities. |
Finally something positive from the government so far, let us pray for more positive news like this in the country so that the country can be great again. But wait ooo, it will cost same amount of money (60billion) to construct Lagos-Kano and Lagos-Calabar , civil engineers educate me pls. |
Why does this sound like bootlicking to me? someone is trying to praise the hatchet man in order to save his head... ![]() |
One is male while the other is female..dats all, every other thing is same. ![]() |
He will be fine by Gods grace...human life is very precious, I just hope it was not a smart stunt to get away from a fix sha , e no easy to defend dis year budget oooo ![]() |
It seems every institution in Nigeria has been polluted, please does anyone knw any institution in this country that still has sanctity? |
Believe me you are a great lady...but my little advice to u is dat you tune down on campaigning about your wealth and rather seek avenues to influence and contribute positively to ur world especially helping to inspire and encourage struggling females in the society, you can serve as a great role model for females positively rather than selling them the impression that life is all about money and materialism. #myopinion. |
Ok guys, to establish an undisputable fact, if the hunter and the lady represent the presidents of two different countries and the bush meat is the hunters natural resource while the service skill is the ladies natural resource, with the way they are both managing their natural resource,on the long run which country do u think will flourish and develop more effeciently (consider financially, skill development, job opportuinity, security, food availability etc) than the other, and which country will u prefer to be in. Click Like for the ladies country and share for the hunters country. |
If it is taking the government this long to submit a budget, then I wonder how long it will take to implement it. If there is this level of anticipated corruption already discovered for money not yet seen then u can imagine the degree of looting that will take place when the money finally arrives. May God intervene in Nigeria. |
In as much as this looks good(especially for d governor politically), I think every government construction job should be effectively supervised by competent Quality control and Quality assurrance engineers employed by the government for various disciplines. This is standard practice, even our multinational companies here in Nigeria do it to ensure quality job delivery, by so doing the governor does not need to go to every site and start measuring, afterall how many points can he measure and when he leaves there who measures the rest? All this na show biz sha . God bless my country. |
I get irritated by Nigerian politicians always talking about replace, remove, dethrone, unseat, kick out etc as if thats the reason political parties are created. They never put forth a clear, precise and superior alternative with verifiable facts and figures of what they would have done better and how they would have done it compared to what the ruling party is doing, so that the masses can now compare and make conclusion on wether to vote out the ruling party. See the way he is just bragging about unseating the ruling party without presenting to the masses a superior argument on the problems on ground and how his party would have done better, abi na only him go vote out the ruling party? It is only in this part of the world were u can listen to a politician talk for 24hrs and yet u cant pick out any substance in his talk, just gibberish. God help us. |
A government serious about job creation and meaningful engagement of the youths to achieve nation building should not be appealled to to sponsor programs like this. I wonder what the minister for youth affairs, finance, labour, investment etc are doing if they cannot advice the president on this issue. Anyway just hope they will do something quick to avoid collapse of this great program, pls government should look beyond "it is a pdp program" and rather consider its benefits to the nation. |
Unseasoned men with no substance, no ideology.Unfortunately these are the breed of people that may end up heading government institutions, parastatals, industries, executive and critical positions etc and u wonder why the state/country is blown here and there by the wind of mediocrity. See the way they are shamelessly running up and down like drowning men. God forbid. |
Elosky20:My dear, I think from your post you do not realise that "the ground" that will feel the pain is the entire country Nigeria and not just the ND as u will wish to believe. You can see how much resources( lives, money, soldiers etc) the war in the north east has cost the entire nation, u can see how it has stretched the entire nation thin financially, millitarily etc( and these guys do not have any critical national asset to sabotage), then think of what the case will be when multinationals and expatriates begin to scamper out of the country for fear of attacks and major oil and gas lines that feed the entire country are destroyed. The ND may be the first to feel the heat but believe me the entire country will be in that heat too. Let us always have a mindset of national peace and stop thinking sectionally. |
Mendelssohn:Dear wise and learned friend, why not start talking/commenting the right way u expect pple to do, maybe they can learn from u instead of talking/commenting exactly like the pple you are bitterly criticising, remember actions speak louder than words. Take time to read ur post again and see d barrage of insults u threw at others. "A wise man when provoked does not say all he knows but rather knows all he says". No insults intended my brother. |

brownjulie:My Sister, you should begin to care pls, because his actions and inactions wether in private or public has a way of affecting you directly or indirectly, remember he is ur president. |

EVEN THO I DON'T SUPPORT THE SENSELESS KILLINGS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE, THE PEOPLE OF THE SS/SE NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A DIFFERENT REGIME FROM GEJ'S WEAK ONE. BUHARI AND BURATAI ARE MILITARY BLOODS AND WON'T BE INTIMIDATED BY CHEAP BLACKMAILS. NO MILITANT OR IPOD GROUPS WILL BE TOLERATED TO DISTRACT THE GOVERMENT. IF THE ARMY CAN WIPE OUT A SHIITE MUSLIM COMMUNITY IN THE NORTH, WHO ARE THE MISCREANTS FROM THE SOUTH TO DARE BUHARI? I HOPE THOSE SUPPORTING TOMPOLO IN GBARAMATU KINGDOM CAN SEE A SAMPLE OF WHAT AWAITS THEM
