Hello everyone,

Please help! I'm trying to submit a visit application for me and my family using the new portal but I'm unable to pay. I've used 2 different dollar domiciled cards (UBA and GT), yet transaction is always declined. Is anyone having a similar issue, how can it be resolved, please?

Try the GTB dollar card again this morning. I had same issue yesterday but i was able to pay successfully late last night.

My prince made his grand entrance this morning via Emergency CS weighing 3.9kg after 48hrs prolonged induced labor which failed because I was stuck at 2cm the whole time.

January mamas how are we doing? Long time no roll call
We thank God for bringing us this far, it feels like we are on the home run. Soon we'd be counting down single digits weeks remaining to the arrival of our LOs.
I hope we have started/almost concluded our shopping o...pls don't be like me cos I'm not leading by example. I'm trying to find the shopping list to share especially for FTMs to help with shopping....I'd post as soon as I find it.

We are doing fine Cappo. I haven’t started any serious shopping too, I hope to do so next week. I was excited to see the single digit weeks left when I checked my pregnancy app.... Now January feels so close ����. May God see us through.

Use Para1000 it gives double strength and it's safe for pregnant women used it when I had migraine when I was heavy and it worked perfectly just go to any pharmacy and ask for Para1000

I don't take medication for migraines tho. I just stay in a dark room, no noise, no lights, no phones and put a wet clothes over my eyes and sleep it off...but thankfully I've not had any so far during pregnancy.
But if yours frequent, take pcm.. acetaminophen is safe in pregnancy

Mine is quite frequent, sometimes it lasts for 12hrs. Tried the wet clothes, no noise, no lights and slept off but woke up still with a terrible migraine accompanied with nausea. It is well

Are you having migraines or just constant headaches?
Migraines are headaches that usually affect one part of the head but comes with either nausea, sensitivity to light and sound. painkillers don't work for it.
Pcm works for normal headaches and is safe in pregnancy

Migraines. I will get PCM, I was told it isn’t safe for early pregnancy that’s why I didn’t use it..Now I know better. Thanks a lot

Initially used Daktarin (see photo attached) every morning and night. Then my mum gave me some of the facial scrub, cleanser and cream that were made for her routine use by one of her friends.

I envy your appetite oh. Haven't been able to keep anything down today. I don't think it's a cause for alarm...just eat small portions regularly since you have noticed the headache comes when you don't eat.

Thank a lot, I will try it.
I had issues with eating & drinking water earlier (till 11 weeks) but since i changed to pregnacare, eating and drinking of water has been so much better.

My cappo, I hail oh. Thanks for checking up on us. I am now 11 weeks gone and our MS patterns and symptoms are really similar. Also started with all day nausea/vomitting and now dealing with evening shenanegans...Like you, I don't eat anything after 6pm nowadays. Heartburn, bloating, food aversion, super painful breasts and mood swings have also dealt with me. Then I had these strange scaly patches building up all over my face but they are beginning to clear up with aggressive use of facial scrubs, cleansers and creams. As a first time mum, it has indeed been overwhelming, but like you said I am grateful to God for this gift. Massive twale to every mama who has experienced this at least once.

No bump for me yet. I keep checking to see my own and DH keeps laughing at me and saying there is nothing yet

Thankful that the fibroids did not get in the way of your Agenda 2021 Sounds like you are on top of things with the scans and prescribed progesterone suppositories. Please keep us posted.

I have exhausted the folic acid I was given at the hospital, so I got pregnacare max yesterday which I have started using. Should I continue with the pregnacare only? Or do I take it with folic acid and ferrous?

Birth weight - 3.03kg
She was conceived via IVF as I had a blocked Fallopian tube and PCOS. Also has 2 subserous fibroids. The pregnancy was relatively easy. I only was at the hospital on account of pain from the fibroid twice when they were moving. The CS procédure went very well. I had a very positive experience and great recovery - already walking around with minimal pain. Still getting a hang of breastfeeding but taking my time. In all baby and mum are doing superb while daddy is elated.

I wish my other June team mates and every expecting person here a successful delivery.

In the hospital I use (Lagoon hospital Ikoyi), your husband is not needed. My husband doesn’t live in Nigeria and hasn’t been to the country this year. Yet I registered in December and have been attending my antenatal alone and I am 35 weeks gone. Sometimes he joins by video call when I am talking to the doctor or performing a scan but that is if he is free. Although, I see couples attend antenatal together but it’s not compulsory.

Hello, I was at Lagoon Hospital Ikoyi earlier this week and the Dr said I should come and start my antenatal in few weeks time. How has it been with the hospital? Just trying to know more about their services, as I have read some not so good reviews.
