Dextra: Please tell me the story. I've been dying to hear it....Lol, really... OK, You'v probably heard the ol Nursery Rhyme, where the calculating, lean N mean Grinch dressed up like Santa and used Max his dog, like Rudolph the Reindeer to go around who's Ville on a Christmas eve night, to steal away all Gifts, Toys, Decorations, food etc that related to Christmas, in an effort to steal Christmas- so when everyone woke up and found Nothing of the sort, they'd stop all the buzz and excitement and go back to normal. But on Christmas day, the Grinch was stunned to findout that even with everything pertaining to Christmas stolen-gifts N all, everyone was still in the Christmas spirit/mood... The Grinch sadly realized @that moment, that Christmas is a state of the mind it cant be stolen despite the Fact there be no Candy, Gifts N all. |
grafikii: Bro, I don't have any travel history. I would also like to know if it's not too late to apply as the wedding is in Aprilif you applied now, you'd have interview dates b4 April. |
I know Osaze is'nt a fan favorite at the moment but I still fink Either of Obasi, or Osaze should have replaced Ahmed Musa... that Musa was totally Annoying @ the AFCON competition. Then Again I still fink Taye Taiwo is light years better than Echeijile in terms of attacking support- But apart from that left back issue Naija's defence was Awesome Omeruo, Godfrey O. and Efe Ambrose were too much! and Martins is not dead yet! I fink he should have been a Sub option for Emmenike. |
Hah! ("Them-Them" They have started again ba? ![]() |
Wait a minute, you know theres no smoke without fire. The last time I checked as of last year, There were diplomatic Tensions between Nigeria and Hungary, to the extent that the Hungarian embassies in Nigeria stopped the issuance of Visa's to Nigerians (except student Visa's). I hope the deportation of these Hungarian women is'nt as a result of this Strain? Because Nigeria is a very easygoing country, except in extreme circumstances, deportation no be our style. |
grafikii: Hello house, I want to apply for a visit visa,Dude, Do you have sufficient travel history, like Visa's on your passport? Cuz Thats about the only Factor that boosts Visa Chances of younger peeps going on visits these days @ the US embassy- embassies Generally. |
Look Mr Wakasso, I dont know what you are talking about, but Nigeria won AFCON the day Nigeria beat IvoryCoast 2-1, Q.E.D |
Seun: Goal! 3 - 1!Wait a minute, wait a Minute... Oga dey hia o?? |
Now I know why the Grinch stole Christmas... |
sndrmrtns: Having 2yrs UK is plus but u can apply for for schengen Visa now and u just link Uk with France/Belgium/Germany via Train or Buss with low fee. From there you will have more chances on your travel history but if you re not travelling before u apply for US visa u can go with your UK visa because UK Visa IS COMMON NOWADAYS at US embassy.about how the UK Visa is Regarded these days@ the US embassy... Mhaaaaayn, I could'nt agree with you any better- he should just get a Schengen Visa and pop to France or somewhere from the UK as you recommended. |
I Love travelling alot, but this Valentine's, if I could I would Love to visit Casablanca in Morocco-Northern Africa, with my Sweetheart. The Architecture, the Scenery, the sounds(esp the prayer calls wafting from distant mosques), the evening desert sun, the exotic African feel that does'nt feel African... Casablanca's a romantic place. Where would you rather be with your sweetheart this Valentine's? |
t4tharyo: @gbenge, sndrmrtns & all.dude take note; 1-If you intend to Visit the US more often, please, Please and PLEASE, fill that DS-160 form truthfully... Dont lie about nothing, esp your marital status. 2-I suggest you find a more compelling/relevant reason to visit the states- a casual vacation for someone your age & status... Hehehehehe... thats the US embassy for crying out loud. Try a conference or something. 3- Sufficient Travel History would give you solid Leverage in your case- And I dont mean just a UK trip, UK visa's are regarded as too regular/common these days @ US embassies in 9ja. 4- How important are you at your job-are you indispensable? Polish and package that claim, and use it to your advantage, as thats your only tie that standsout. 5- Who is sponsoring the trip? If you are, is your Bank statement worthy? I dont just mean your balance, is it organized? 6-You don Kabash? I.e have you prayed enough? Because you need the favor of God in your case 7- Have you properly packaged yourself? Are you really sure you are ready for this interview? Cuz If you have'nt I suggest you reschedule your interview and prepare well... Theres no rush. Goodluck o. |

Like my mama use to say "If you can dream it, you can do it" I've been dreaming it and waiting to do her someday.
Goodluck brah, but errrrrrrh Watch out for Nick Canon... |
Omegared is right, the process would be a whole lot easier if you have the Passport you used to return to Nigeria from Belgium. Asides your Birth-Certificate, you should also have documentary proof to show you(and your parents) lived in Belgium for over 5yrs- in your case you could show your report cards from school, since you schooled there, and possibly hospital sheets/bills. But coming to think of it, you should have done this like yesterday, issues like this get stickier as time passes because you will be assumed to have embraced Nigerian Nationality by now. Anyway contact either of the Belgium embassies ASAP- ones @ Lagos the other is @Abuja. Goodluck Mate. |
Lol mine was pathetic. wasnt a pleasant experience at all. was in China, nobody understood English.coupled with the stares i got from every 。。。Tom and Harry cos i was the only dark skinned person in a crowded place. i actually cried out of frustration. at the end of the day sha, God sent me a dude that could speak little English.that was after i was i ripped of some cash by a Chinese slowpoke cos i didnt really know the exchange rate. the cash sounded small to me but when i later coverted,i discovered i had lost thousands of naira for something that shouldnt cost me up to one hundred naira. the experience was an eye opener sha
Eiyaaaaah sorry about the loss... Hahahahahahaha- but I can imagine the "Alien in China" feel. |
My most Hilarious experience was @ Ihiala LGA, Anambra state in Nigeria. I was newly posted there during my NYSC service year. Being raised up North, The whole Igbo Tradition/Culture was new to me & I did'nt understand one punctuation of Igbo not to talk of a word lol. Well on this day, I went shopping for food Items(me and my insatiable greed for pancakes)@ the market & I needed directions to where I could get "Flour"(my warped british accent didnt help issues)- after describing, frantically demonstrating, gesticulating desperately, sumersaulting, hopping and literally turning myself into a clown@ the market place(pheeew, the locals found me entertaining though), it took almost a century for them to figure out what I meant(dont blame me, the translation for flour was'nt on the bloody handbook)... Share yours... |
Wait, I dont get it... of all the countries in the world, one prefares a Child of Nigerian Descent to be born a Turk? Like Seriously...? SMH- na waah o |
My God! Nigerians Can do Amebo way too much-... For crying out loud Sanusi's the CBN Governor! Even If he takes home ₦2M for Lunch each day, what concerns YOU, do you work@CBN? mimifavour: Who is Monica plsMonica Lewinski, The babe who Mr Bill Clinton nailed in the late 90's, with a cigarette stick (errrrrh... according to Mr Clinton) well bottom line, she nearly snatched Mrs Clintons hubby. |
Samoo01: Have you ever heard of Madeleine Albright or CONDOLEEZA RICE?I still fink Miss Condoleeza Rice, was the most versatile female Secretary of State of all time, remember it was her time as Secretary of State, that Bush was running series of Wars/Battles, and @the time America were'nt global Favorites,(being a US Diplomat during that era was very tough) but even@that she still made her mark... Oh and yes she's black too. |

The period he decides his Orientation would be Straight instead of Gay... Then he's a Man. |

Dear Mr Chukwuma Director of Innosons, Do you have any Idea that there are other Countries out there, that would benefit from your automotive innovation? Did you know if you setup shop in Jamaica for example, it would be a two way thing; 1-Business would favor you: You'd sell 2-Your products would favor them: They'd buy plus you'd be boosting Innosons motors as an international Recognized independent Brand? If market no move for house, then try comot naw, haba? |
You see my Problems with Keshi? I dont know if he selected that squad Based on Sentiment or NFF Pressure... 1. Taye Taiwo, Nigeria's "BEST" setpeice Taker@ the moment Penalty/Freekicks(long-range), was not included, instead he was replaced by that Echejiele guy- for Crying out loud, who did Keshi expect to take efficient setpeices, Mikel ![]() 2. Till tomorow I dont believe Musa was the one favored over Osaze, kai! Lets face it, Osaze's worst day on the pitch is far better than what I saw Musa doing today 3. Why pick Brown Ideye over Joel Obi, when Joel was fit whyyyyyy 4. Its clear to see 4:4:2 formation doesnt work with Nigeria again, with the kind of players present on the Nigerian team he should experiment with 3:4:3 or others |
@OP its very possible, but the ease of the process Largely depends upon these factors 1: Which state you are(cuz some states in the US have Lenient immigrant laws) 2: What school you are applying to(no be community college or unknown school wey fit pull that kind stunt) but its very very very possible-@least I know people who did it |

Any of the Toyota's you mentioned are fine for a 1st Lady Bug, but I recommend the Honda Civic, but instead of the 02-06 Models as you stated, opt for the 08 model (if you have the means) its a modified & upgraded version of the 06 model, which is known for Fuel efficiency, drive stability & durability. (as a lady, I assume you dont fancy popping your hood up as often) so stay off that *VW Golf4*. One thing I know about the Civic is; its a Ladybug- lady friendly. Also if you want extra effiZzy, for Uniqueness opt for the 2 doored 08 Civic Coupe. Trust me, you'd become attached to it. Goodluck in your Quest. |
