Two workers of Pizzaman eatery, Seidu Karim and Rashid Abdullah, have been sentenced to five years in jail by a Ghanaian court for stealing 20 boxes of chicken wings and two gallons of cooking oil from the company’s warehouse in Kumasi, Ghana. According to ASP Jonas Newlove Adjei, the prosecuting officer, on May 1, 2023, the executive chef of Pizzaman received a call from the warehouse manager informing him that two gallons of cooking oil and eight boxes of chicken wings had been stolen. Upon checking, the chef discovered that the items were indeed missing. An emergency meeting was held with the workers and during interrogation, Abdullah disclosed that Karim had hidden two gallons of cooking oil behind the fence wall.
