silverr: You're just an ungrateful child. Nothing more than that Feeding your family makes you shed tears. Just repay your family all they have spent on you from the time you were born till you began to earn 1 kobo. I mean feeding, accommodating, school fees, uniforms, fighting for you, transport fares etc then calm down and pay your mother for carrying you for 9 months and giving birth to you, pay her for the pain, blood, hospital fees etc with interest oooooooo.
After that take your money and find a hoe to spend it on, i know spending on hoes wont pain you cus ure a stupid child. Just pray your wife gives birth to 1 or 2 kids at most cus this rubbish you're doing know your kids will do it back to you with interest so no need to pay plenty school fees. You believe he should pay his mother for performing her duties? |

Eketem: You live in a house
There is light bills Water bills
Food Security bills Generator Etc
You want to live for free and not contribute anything because you have plans
You have frustrated the poor woman and because it is Nigeria where she cannot take you to small claims court she resorted to curses.
These things are very expensive these days. Even when I go to visit people and spend a night or two I ensure I contribute to these Bills but a working adult in Nigeria will want osho free and feel entitled to it There is a reason English comprehension is taught in secondary schools in Nigeria. It is for people like you not to go outside and disgrace your teacher. |

I support parents who withdraw support for a daughter who intentionally gets pregnant out of wedlock. I have a family friend with three kids from three different men, because her mum always takes her in after each child birth, and takes care of the child afterwards. while she proceeds to get pregnant for someone else each year without fail. |

Since she is flush with cash, she could splurge on a family abroad vacation all expenses paid by her. A legal proof of marriage will be required for the visa processing. This might be her best bet.
She should only do that after she is convinced her husband has forgotten about the issue, and she is still desperate for it. |

You both have no business being married if you can't iron out your issues yourselves. If you can't make her understand your situation, I doubt her parents can.
Third party intervention in marriages only provide temporary or no solution at all. |

I read somewhere that the bitx wallet now luno? allows one convert bitcoin to Naira and withdraw directly to one's bank account. I proceeded to Playstore to download the app, signed up and decided to test the withdraw feature to get a hang of it. I was told I needed to verify my identity, I completed the first phase which is phone number verification but the second phase sent me flying out of the site. My BVN was requested My question is how safe is it, has anyone here done it, what was the outcome? |

kingjooo: Pls nairalanders i need your advice on dis,i met a particular girl about 5 yrs ago and we've been getin along but i decided to tie the knot this year and problem has started coming in from my own mother that it will never happen in her presence, even to the point of her layin curses on me if i go ahead and marry her.pls guys help me out,i seriously need ur advice on dis because my fiancee is three months gone already. Her curses have no effect on you, you did her no wrong. Your only crime is deciding to choose your life partner yourself. If she fails to give you a good reason for not consenting to the union, ignore her and go ahead with the wedding. Her blessing does not immune your marriage to problems or break up. |
Family › Re: See How This Marriage Crumbled by Orchid45: 3:03pm On Mar 03, 2018 |
The most you can do at this point is to pray for your son and yourself. Don't be religiously blackmailed into reconciling with your wife, unless you both are willing to work on yourselves and the relationship. Use this period of separation for personal growth and development.
Bitter and negative persons carry a lot of bad energy which can rub off on you, physically, mentally and psychologically if you are not like them. I'm not surprised you feel better without her around. |
Family › Re: My Daily Routine As A Lagos Father by Orchid45: 11:06am On Mar 02, 2018 |
Wisefellow: The lifestyle of a man as a bachelor is sweet and that of a married man is sweeter when peace, love, trust, understanding and God exist in the household. Everyday life, in the city of Lagos, is funny but crazy as activities are fully packed from dawn till bedtime, including other room service. However, man must be and rise up to responsibilities he is designed, by default, to enjoy by the Creator.
Every workdays, I get up from bed around 4:50am to see off my sweet little sister to bus stop, to join staff bus to Victoria Island. By 5:10am, I am back in the house to boil some bathing water for my lovely wife and princess. After brushing, I take 15minutes to say my prayer and then, wake my baby to give her necessary daily supplements and bath her in readiness for school, while my wife is usually busy cooking the breakfast for the household. She also dress her up for school and prepare her school lunch box. As for my automobile, I quickly clean it up and get the black mini SUV set for the day. I then rush to have my bath, dress up and ready for work with my breakfast well packed in the food flask. Every family member is ready for the day and we set out. As the driver, my daughter's school is the first stop over, followed by my wife's workplace before arriving my office by 8:00am.
Working hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm is another interesting ball game that I am not ready to dwell on, full of activities, goal realisation and meeting deadlines while the sphere bubbles for people and activities till close of business.
By close of work, I wait no extra time to pick my beautiful babies, wife and daughter, to return home by evening between 6pm and 7pm due to traffic gridlock peculiar to Lagos roads. I am not complaining because it will surely get better while I enjoy all these. The hustle is real and family is key! This is quite encouraging, your kind is rare. |
Family › Re: What Have You Learnt So Far This Year? by Orchid45: 10:11am On Feb 08, 2018 |
I have learnt not to displease myself to please others.
Everyone wants something from you, your parents and siblings inclusive.
No one but you can make you happy.
The quality of your life improves when you quit complaining about persons you can't change and situations beyond your control.
Your life becomes easier when you dwell on solutions not problems. |
Family › Re: Please Advise Me On This Marital Issue by Orchid45: 4:47pm On Jan 19, 2018 |
I don't care how irresponsible or abusive your husband is, you are both adults.
Your daughter is your RESPONSIBILITY, and part of that responsibility includes sending her to school. It doesn't have to be an expensive school, whichever you can afford will do. SHE DIDN'T ASK TO BE BORN. |

If you have nothing to hide go ahead and show her. I read the story of a woman here on Nairaland who was complaining bitterly about her husband's inability to contribute financially to their home. Even though he assured her he made millions per month prior to the wedding, it turned out to be a lie.
I don't blame your fiancee for wanting to be sure and there is no better way of knowing how much you make monthly than an account statement. Most men are never honest about their financial capacity, I think it's smart of her to want to be sure. Contrary to what others think, I think she is an asset that doesn't take anything at face value. |
