This is the reasoning of someone who has their head upside-down. What Ojukwu fought for was the direct opposite of what men like Hitler, Napoleon and Gaddafi were fighting for. While Ojukwu was fighting to free his people from the fraudulent British colonial contraption called Nigeria, Hitler and Napoleon were fighting to enslave other people and increase their power base. Ojukwu fought to liberate, others fought to enslave. So trying to equate all them together is foolish. Ojukwu was justified to leave, he stood and fought hard for 3 years as a man, it didnt work out. No point staying back to be butchared over a cause that was no longer sustainable. The only people that would have benefited from Ojukwu staying back to be killed is Nigeria who would have used his dead body for propaganda. As I said before, Ojukwus job was to fight for the freedom of his people, not to be a martyr. The millions who died all died in the fight for freedom. Freedom is not cheap, the second world war cost over 50 million lives. To get freedom, you must be prepared to accept casualties, thats the nature of the game.

We Igbos should have shot Ojukwu? Why would we kill our greatest hero who fought for our freedom? Are you high?

A revolutionaries sarcrifice their lives for a cause, but not when there is no more cause to sarcrifice anything to.

The truth is that the cabals want to keep dabbling with power until 2019 or close to next to it, so that the VP will not have enough time to campaign or contest for the presidential election. That way, they can field their own candidate and return power to the North.

Note that as long as the President keeps handing over to the Vice, the vice can never have full control of power. He is incapacitated in many ways, to take major decisions he must dialog with the president cabals. And he must at all times show loyalty to his boss. If he tries otherwise, they will uproot him!

Mind you, if President Buhari recontests for next election, he will most likely most likely pick another VP, to keep that position in check! And also, that way, he will have a more loyal, less-informed person under him for the next 4 years.
