You are not going to use what is in your pant to wash it.

P.S- fiance or not- that is a guest in your house on the first visit. You would have just told her you are looking for a slave.. Rather than a wife.

I don't know why it is only poor Muslims that take this dressing of a thing serious.I have seen pictures of Buhari's daughter called to the same bar without her hijab. When I go through the social media pages of most of these northern Muslim BIG MEN daughters I find most of them not wearing hijab...The annoying thing about this case is that the foolish girl studied law, knew about these rules before enrolling into law school and still decided to break the rules. This got me wondering if she actually learnt anything all through her stay in the university.
Probably why it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to make heaven.......

Christianity EtcRe: Why History Says Jerusalem Belongs To The Jews by Origin(f): 9:31pm On Dec 31, 2017
I wonder why people cannot write a truthful or unbiased articlehuh

Its on record the Muslims conquered Jerusalem from the Christians ( a treaty was signed by Umar and the Christian head safeguarding Christian property and lives).

Umar chose a neglected land to build the al aqsa mosque (the same spot that had been shown to the prophet Muhammad on his night journey) . later people discovered it contained the foundation stone.

When the prophet had the night journey: where he claimed to have been taken to Jerusalem (a journey of many months in that period) and heaven by angel jubril.

People showed disbelieve (of course I would too) but he described in detail a city he had never visited before. This was in the years when he was not even allowed to leave Mecca.

If it improves your dignity. I beg go ahead and rock your choir gown on the lawyer's gown.

To think Femi Fani said that.

Wow.

The hijab is not a Friday wear that you use on special occasion. As you would feel without wearing undies is how she feels with her hijab. And that is the difference.

Would anyone ask a lady to remove her panties in publichuhhuh?. Why would anyone begrudge her her dignity and right.

She did not put on her hijab for the occasion, it is not gele, it is not beret, it is her everyday garb.
Christianity EtcRe: Is The Deeper Life Bible Church A Cult ? by Origin(f): 5:17pm On Dec 16, 2017
The day you understand:

Religion is a personal journey.

No body is perfect not even the prophets.

Everybody's perception is different....

Then you will find peace.

OP has only spoken from his own perception of his personal journey. That does not mean he is right or someone else is wrong.

I've always liked the deeper life's conservative and quiet nature. But in life if you survey 10 people on the same experience, they will all have different things to say so its normal.
CareerRe: Nigerian Law School And The Need For Change by Origin(f): 6:45pm On Dec 15, 2017
The law school should rise above its rules and recognize people have diverse human rights which they need to uphold.

A lawyers' wig is not affected by the wearing of an hijab. Especially when its not worn for the sole intention of flouting rules. Her hijab is her way of life and is worn 247.

mgbadike81:
lawyers in the USA doesn't wear the wig and gown, they don't even have a specific dress code because I have seen American lawyers appear in court dressed in blue suits.I want to see lawyers in Britain and other secular Commonwealth countries with a similar dress code with Nigeria admit a female lawyer wearing a hijab then I would take this serious.
Apparently Nigeria's sovereignty is based on the commonwealth. Talk another thing I beg.

Even if you see evidence of a British hijabi being called to the bar, you will still disagree based on bias.

The similitude of this is:

Why is Nelson Mandela fighting when his people have been enslaved for centuries. Failing to call that lady to the bar is UNJUST.

IslamRe: Position Of The Law On The Use Of Hijab/Veil In Public Institutions- O.G Chukkol by Origin(f): 6:06pm On Dec 15, 2017
Mynd44:
Uniforms are there for a reason. Take that away and we will descend into chaos.

Celestial Church of Christ members are not allowed to wear black at all. Imagine what will happen if we say "lets allow the hijabi" based on her religion. Do we do the same for the Cele members?

We can make a case for the total removal of the uniform as it creates an environment where you cannot practice your freedom of religion and expression but to make a case where we will allow the uniform and allow hijabis is not going to end well.
Muslims don't have a uniform, rather they have a consistent head covering always there 247.

On this basis they are not alike. I wont expect less from a nun who wears her habit 247.

That is not a Friday or Sunday uniform. And it doesn't stop them from been successful.
IslamRe: If You Converted To Islam From A Christian Family. Share Your Experience by Origin(f): 6:00pm On Dec 15, 2017
kngblacq:
I'm a guy who comes from a Christian home but don't really like Christianity, going to church is like a punishment for me because everything they do there looks somehow to me, so I have been studying Islam for a while and I love the religion, would love to know more about it. People who have converted to Islam from Christianity should share their experiences, how they dealt with family pressure and backlash. I want to know what I'm getting into before taking that decision. Thanks.
@ OP, religion is a journey.
First you learn, Understand then start to act on it.

Try not to overburden yourself and set your own pace.

My personal experience:
Learning the Quran and hadith leaves less room for conjectures and makes life easier.

(there is a difference between Islamic dress and Arab dressing) (the compulsory aspects are few and easy- it is actually people who overburden themselves in matters of religion)

That is how we used to do is not a basis for religious matters.
CareerRe: Nigerians React To The Hijab-Wearing Law Graduate Who Wasn't Called To Bar by Origin(f): 12:29pm On Dec 15, 2017
I cant criticize her actions even though I'm one of the People who make compromises in their religion .............

Here is a lady who stands for what she believes in. That rule is not set in stone and has no bearing on being called to the bar.

A rule that allows a hornets' nest (or is it a viper's nest self) to be placed on a lawyer's head but will not allow you to use your everyday head covering?

Lady visionaries have started using their hijab in sports and this has not hindered their success.

Their hijab is a way of life and does not hinder their accomplishments. People seem to have more right going naked than dressing up. (all in the name of its their body)

Do you think the lab coat makes a better doctor, or the suit makes a better executivehuh
