SportsTransfer: Messi Finally En-route To Juventus? by OriginalCEO(op): 3:58am On Jul 18, 2020
A rare photo of Dybala, Ronaldo and Messi has surfaced, a combination many have agreed will be very lethal.

Personally, I doubt Messi will ever shift his loyalty away from Camp Nou. The picture looks nice tho.

SportsChelsea 0 – 3 Sheff' United: Chelsea Suffers Yet Another Defeat In Their CL Race by OriginalCEO(op): 8:05pm On Jul 11, 2020
Chelsea endured a miserable evening at Bramall Lane as Sheffield’s McGoldrick netted a brace with McBurnie topping it.

This loss means Sheffield United move up to sixth, just four points behind fifth-placed Manchester United. Chelsea remain third but now have a shaky stance as they are within an easy reach for currently-in-form Manchester United. Either Leicester or United will or both will edge over Chelsea if they can get a win in their upcoming games.

The two-goal hero David McGoldrick talks to Sky. “I told the lads not to worry, that when a goal comes I’ll probably get two! I had a couple of chances today and managed to put them away, my first Premier League goals at 32. It means the world. I made my debut at 16 … and here I am today living my dream!” He’s then asked whether the Blades will make Europe, and straight-bats the question, explaining that he’d get a “bollocking” from Chris Wilder if he says anything on the subject. Back in the studio, Micah Richards, who has form in this regard, is pictured in a state of high amusement. Lovely scenes.

After the match, Lampard had this to say: “They were better than us. Physically; in the mind; with the ball. So we lose the game. They were stronger than us. All I could hear were Sheffield United voices. They’re good players, a good team, so if you come here and perform below par, it’s gonna happen. We were too slow with the ball. It’s disappointing. I’ve got to be careful to over-analyse this one, we’ve got to put that to bed, and fight for the top four. But I learned a lot and won’t forget that. I’m concerned about how we performed.”

Leicester city will be tackling Bournemouth tomorrow 12th July at Vitality Stadium.

WebmastersTop 10 Reasons Why You Need A Website - Codenaija by OriginalCEO(op): 5:47pm On Jun 06, 2020
OriginalCEO:
Entrepreneurs and youths, in general, ask me this question a lot, Why do I need a website? I will briefly give at least 10 reasons every business and entrepreneur must have a website. Truly we are in an age where we can get a lot done just from social media channels like Instagram and Facebook, so where really does a website come in. Well LET’S FIND OUT.

--------Do I really need a Website?---------
1. A Website boosts your Credibility level
People expect solid, standard and trustworthy businesses to have a website no matter how simple it appears to be. In a place like Nigeria where majority have had reasons to become skeptics, you can’t afford not to have a website to boost your online presence. I have had job interviews from supposed companies who neither had a website nor standard mail, and had to push them aside. We all look up companies online to see if they truly exist or are legit to say the least.

2. It Shows Professionalism
A website can fetch you the attention you so desire and deserve. You can imagine sending a proposal out but your email is something like ‘Musadinho10@yahoo.com’. You don’t need to tell me that proposal will record more failure than a more professional mail that shows you are grounded and know what you are doing – something like ‘services@domain.com. Depending on your web host and package you bought, you can have access to a couple or an unlimited number of these professional mails. Besides the email, a website generally shows professionalism.

3. Money! Money! Money!!!
I see people, visionary and beautiful writers drop their posts on facebook and other platforms when they can easily get a blog, that can serve their work to the entire world and after a while, months or a couple years, you start earning huge from ad networks such as google ads, this is the most common means of monetizing a blog, there are a million other ways but you would never find out if you don’t take the first step.

4. There is a Race you are Not Aware of
I don’t need to know your niche or genre before I assure you there is a competition and you are missing on lots of leads, due to lack of a website. People have automated their sales and are being ranked on google and being shown to the whole world while you are mostly stuck to your Facebook page followers. Even if you are doing well right now, that means there is a lot of potential and you can even earn better with a stronger online presence.

5. Websites are for Shop Owners Myth
Many people believe you only need a website if you sell products or are into e-commerce, but they are very wrong. Reason is, people are searching online daily for both products and services, you don’t want to be left out even if all you do is sell data or home cleaning. Meet your clients online, at the point of their need with your website.

6. Not everyone is a Social Media person
From time to time, people cut down on the number of social media channels they are following, some say they use twitter instead of Instagram and state their reason, some people hate facebook because there are ‘too many stranger’ so they focus on LinkedIn and many others don’t even do Social media at all. These are clients that deserve to be found.

7. Broader Audience
You may not be aware but Facebook does not show everyone your posts all the time. As a matter of fact, your facebook page may have 2000 likes and follows but the percentage that gets notified of your posts are only about 2% to 4%. You need to expand your reach with the aid of a Website.

8. No Products or Services to Render
Some people are still on the ‘I don’t know what to do’ train and just watch everyone taking steps and cashing in. The world is now so advanced you don’t even need to be selling to make profits. Some people have made millions from drop shipping or Affiliating, though they deal with products, they don’t actually see these products but they are making money. There are many other ways to make money which may not even involve active participation from you.

9. Websites are Expensive to Acquire and Maintain?
Contrary to the belief of some people that a website is expensive to set up or maintain, it is no longer so these days, it can cost you from $0 – $100 at times depending on your budget but it is now very easy to acquire and you deserve to have at least one.

10. A Website is an Investment
A Website can be easily likened to a Real Estate. It begins to add value after you set it up and depending on how active you are or the kinds of solution your website offers, you may resell it after a couple years and cash in big. Some people specialize in building websites, only to sell it away but at a huge price.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Jobs In Nigeria: 4 Proactive Measures To Intensify Your Job Search by OriginalCEO(op): 5:58am On May 11, 2020
OriginalCEO:
Job hunting is not an easy task. Now try job hunting while the world is battling the deadly pandemic 2020 introduced the world to. This has caused many companies to have their economy dangling by a thread. Many jobs in Nigeria and around the world have been lost but looking on the brighter side, many more jobs are up for grab, you just need the perfect techniques, approaches and methods.

After meeting with a couple of graduates from all kinds of universities, we have observed they go into the job market with the wrong mentality and remain in the job market waiting for a miracle. A wise man Richie Norton said once

Intentional living is the art of making our own choices before others’ choices make us

People who have been searching for jobs for a while have formulated lots of job myths that have gained so much ground that even undergraduates have bought them and have lost hope before leaving school. Your mindset is probably also affected by now.

Now, Four proactive measures to intensify your job search
1. Identify your career-related companies and go after them
You must have heard job testimonies where the job seeker jotted 50 companies and went after contacts in those companies one after the other. It is unlikely that you get a red light from all of them and if you do, a couple of them would have told you what value you still need to add to yourself to overthrow the competition. You need to have a destination and seek after it. Remember what Lucious Annaeus Seneca said

If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favourable

You must make the decision now to put down 50 companies you know you are fit to work in depending on the skills and abilities you possess – use your discretion to rank the companies to high, medium and low. If you do not have any skills related to the destination you have in mind, you may come back to this step after step 2.

Now that you have this list it is time to get to work. If you send your resume to the companies, 95% will ignore, some already have programmed ‘autobot’ messages to keep you happy. What we will send is a pain letter targetting real individuals in those companies. It may seem painstaking but those are necessary these days to find good jobs in Nigeria. Liz Ryan did a full article on how to write a pain letter, step by step.

Forbes: How to write a Pain Letter (Step by Step)

2. Learn a New skill or Upgrade your skills
Only knowing today as much as you knew yesterday is not the right way to get what you want.Every job has skills and in the least you must have good interpersonal skills. I am talking about hard skills here, you want to already be working in the bank in 5 years time and we both know all you have is your degree – in order words same as 95% competition. Why don’t you take a step forward and learn some Computer software associated with your field? Recall Collin Powell said “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure”

You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future

– Steve Jobs

These days you can even connect the dot using someone else’s life. Identify someone in your field, preferably a mentor, look at what they have acquired and start moving in the right direction.

3. Build your Online Portfolio
It is rather unfortunate that many graduates do not know the market has changed and degree alone does not get you a job. A Proof is the high number of masters students and graduates claiming there are no jobs in Nigeria and B.Sc holders keep landing interviews and jobs. An online portfolio is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user, usually on the Web. It is an evidence of your work, certificates may get you an interview but these days the strength of your portfolio in that line of business will pave way for you. In order words, work on projects, someone will ask to see them sooner than later.

4. Networking: Maximize LinkedIn
Job hunting is a phase where you need to really put the word out there that you need help in a way that doesn’t seem desperate. People have been getting jobs through LinkedIn connections and will continue to, I still wonder why many Nigerian graduates don’t have a functional LinkedIn account but with two accounts each for every social media platform out there. Even if you are an entrepreneur, you can still meet potential clients on this professional platform. You need to get an account now, update it with your experiences, projects and accomplishments. Now start Networking and getting noticed positively. Remember those pain letters? Start dishing them out to your contacts. Do not sound desperate, it’s a turn off to click on a candidate’s profile and see ‘Looking for job’ or ‘Unemployed’ and we see these all the time. It makes you seem desperate for a job and you want it to be awarded you out of pity. CelebritiesActress Ariel Winter Slices Off Tip Of Thumb While Cooking, Loses It Twice. by OriginalCEO(op):
Popular American actress Ariel Winter mistakenly chopped off the top of her thumb while making Greek food.

The voice actress is known for her role as Alex Dunphy in the comedy series Modern Family, as well as the voice of the title character in the Disney Junior show Sofia the First and the voice of Penny Peterson in the 2014 animated film Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

Ariel revealed the shocking details of her thumb injury while debuting her finger cast in a video interview with Access on May 6! “I was trying to make Greek food, because I’m Greek,” Ariel began to explain. She decided to use one of her new knives for one of these cuisine experiments. After successfully chopping four onions, Ariel revealed, “And so I went to chop a peeled tomato and slice the top part of my thumb off on a peeled tomato.” You could read the irony of the situation on Ariel’s face.

It sounds both funny and scary but at the time it happened, it sure wasn’t funny.

Her boyfriend, Luke Benward, 24, who took really good care of her took the thumb along to the hospital, but Ariel didn’t know the nurse had put it in a plastic bag and given it back to her. It was after she had thrown it away she realized what was in the bag thereby losing it the second time. Watch the video below.

The post has been three years but i was still shocked to find such legendary babies.

OriginalCEO:
Ultrasound images that appeared during the week, showing a male foetus masturbating in the womb have sparked a heated argument between scientists who can not agree if one shape is an index finger or the tip of a penis.

Two Spanish researchers, Vanesa Rodriguez Fernandez and Carlos Lopez Ramon Cajal, said the scan of the foetus at 32 weeks showed “very clear sexual behaviour,” with its fingers wrapped tightly around its genitals.

Vanesa wrote in the medical journal, Prenatal Diagnosis, “The foetus is grasping his tumescent penis using an evident force.”

Cajal added images that showed “the foetus pulling back its foreskin to reveal the urethral opening – also known as the meatus – then using its hand to return it into place.”

But an Israeli scientist, Meizner, told Discover Magazine that the Spanish researchers had made a “huge error” by misidentifying the foetus’s index finger as its foreskin.”

Adding that “What the authors mark as foreskin is the normal index finger,” he asserted that the first image “represents a grasped normal hand with five fingers.”

And that the second image shows, “the flexed hand with five fingers,” he wrote.

“What the authors mark as meatus is the flexed index finger, a bit drawn backwards.”

Prof. Meizner said the penis and scrotum were visible in the first image to the left of the hand – a claim refuted by the Spanish obstetricians, who said the bulge he was referring to was the umbilical cord.

Responding to the criticism, the scientists said they disagreed with Prof. Meizner’s analysis of the imagery, as they had observed that masturbation took place over a period of 30 minutes.

“The behaviour reported in our study was observed and confirmed by several doctors over a period of time.

The image is a snapshot of an exploration that was performed over a period of 30 minutes.”

“Typically, I work using two ultrasound machines and seven transducers (three-dimensional mechanical and electronic transducers).

“I would be happy for you to visit my hospital and ultrasound lab to witness this.”
