This ban has nothing to do with Nigeria's reputation but mors to do with politics. Nigerians are known for using all sorts of fake documents to get green cards.

If this is about Nigeria's reputation, how come visitors visas are still readily available? Is a terrorist interested in green card? Hell NO.
