A commentator on Arise TV commended the speech of Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Chatham House as robust, gave him 6/10 overall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iX0YaoRPdMI |
post=118953474:This is nothing to write home about. Obi's rally in his stronghold? If he is not supported at home, where else does he expect support to come from? Sokoto? Obi should face the reality and throw in the towel - it's not too late. |
When asked who among Obi and Atiku he would vote for if he wasn't contesting, Tinubu said none of the two because they don't have any track record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw8xKpOY97I |
Greenscientist:After all Lagos is better today with whatever he has done through Alpha Beta. |
poncedeleon:He is running away from interviews, etc... Here is Tinubu being interviewed on BBC. The next president of Nigeria |
RichDad1:Obidients are JJC and incurably ignorant. If this is the crowd Obi could pull in his stronghold, then he should throw in the towel. He is not popular even at home. Noise is not the same as people. And I tell, more than 50% of the noise makers there are from other states. We know how people were transported to Ibadan from Ogun, Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, etc for the Ibadan rally. Obi knows he can't win and he knows that we know he can't win - Soludo |
With all the noise by supporters of some presidential candidates, Lagos state has continued to retain its top position as one of the top 10 safest states in Nigeria. This is a state hosting more than 20 million residents and a city with the 3rd largest economy in Africa. However, for political expediency, some want Nigerians to believe Lagos is a den of touts (and agberos). Most of these people are from states at the bottom of the chart, yet, they call Tinubu a leader of agbero. If agberos are this peace-loving and progressive, why do we need lawless educated noise makers? https://bscholarly.com/safest-states-in-nigeria/ |
Campaigns for the 2023 elections have started and candidates, in earnest, are now moving from one state to another to canvass for votes. It was tough initially for most candidates to get started in view of the disaffection caused by the primary elections and the selection of a running mate. All these are over now for most candidates especially those who have the capacity to build bridges and carry others along. Based on what we have seen so far, in terms of bridge building, alliance formation, acceptability in each region, etc., below is my honest prediction for the 2023 elections. South West - Tinubu: 75% - Atiku: 15% - Obi: 7% - Others: 3% South East - Tinubu: 20% - Atiku: 30% - Obi: 45% - Others: 5% South South - Tinubu: 30% - Atiku: 35% - Obi: 35% North Central - Tinubu: 40% - Atiku: 30% - Obi: 25% - kwakwanso: 5% North West - Tinubu: 55% - Atiku: 30% - Kwakwanso: 13% - Obi: 2% North East - Tinubu: 40% - Atiku: 45% - Kwakwanso: 10% - Obi: 5% For three key states of Lagos, Kano, and Rivers, below is my prediction; Lagos - Tinubu: 60% - Atiku: 15% - Obi: 20% or less - Other: 5% Kano - Tinubu: 45% - Atiku: 18% - Kwakwano: 35% - Obi: 2% Rivers State - Tinubu: 45% (this should not surprise you - Wike will line up behind Tinubu) - Atiku: 15% - Obi: 35% - Other: 5% |

nlfpmod:The next president of the federal republic of Nigeria |
I'm still wondering how Obi, a contestant without any governor supporting him, thinks he can make an impact in the coming election. Those who don't understand how elections work in Nigeria are in for compulsory election 101 lessons in Feb 2023. Unfortunately, the lessons may not be palatable. |
Nightwolf1:Serious pain... please get a painkiller before going to bed |
With the outing of Tinubu at Chatham house today, there is no doubt Tinubu is not only competent to lead the country, but he is also prepared for the job. He responded brilliantly to questions bothering on his age, certificate, name, etc, and why he hasn't been attending interviews at TV stations, etc. Allowing some members of his team to respond to some of the questions was game-changing. It was like saying, the presidency is not just about me... see also the quality of people in my team. Tinubu has put to rest all the rumors about even his mental capacity. He is the man Nigeria needs - a leader of men. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjkBScI8JKo |
jaybenugo:See his flat head... ![]() When he was jubilating that PDP won Osun gubernatorial election, I told them what was returning to them. Whoever can still remember the PDP time of Oyinlola, etc in Osun won't be surprised. Brace up for more attacks from PDP and day light rigging of election in Osun state. Very soon you will know the difference between the APC and PDP |
OyeofIkoTuN:I have since noticed that common sense is not common in Nigeria. You're blaming Buhari for the wickedness of Bayelsa people/leaders to their own people and the failure of governance in Bayelsa state? You want Buhari to come down to Bayelsa to coordinate the distribution of relief materials to the flood victims? Why then do you have a governor and other representatives in the first place? |
sorepco:Analyze what? The one he wrote for Anambra governorship election, how far did it take the state and her people? I don't waste my precious time on nothingness. |

This is not what a local government will pull in other states.
Why is kwankwaso not getting talked about. It’s because you know obi is a threat to your candidates. He may not win now, but if he comes 2nd or 3rd in 2027 he will build on that. Make una rest abeg
