OneTemplate: You are the one lacking wisdom. Knowing how Nigeria works, do you think Senators in Abuja give a f.uck about the disruption to the lives of Lagosians?
What is their motivation to deliver change when they can luxuriant in their Asokoro and Maitama mansions in Abuja totally unaffected by the brouhaha in Lagos?
You think Senators watching the protest in Lagos, safe and unaffected in their Abuja haven, will just agree to take an 80% pay cut?
The protest should be convened where they would matters the most and where they directly make life uncomfortable for those who can deliver change so they actually sit up and act even if in self-interest !!! They don't feel it, yet, the federal government sent Ministers to their respective states to calm things during the last protest. It's obvious you don't understand how Government, especially a Federal one, works. This is my last response to you. |

OneTemplate: You see, this is where I have a problem believing people like you are genuine. Not many are okay with how the Country is being run so stop the cheap blackmail.
Yet we must ask you and others to give reasons why it make sense to situate protests against the political misrule of all Nigerians in Lagos State, South West Nigeria, rather than Abuja that is the official Nigerian Seat of power and our Federal Government political and administrative base So someone who resides in Lagos should travel to Abuja to protest in a federal system of government? Very wise of you I must say. Anyway, I'm happy you agreed that not many are happy with the way the country is being run. That's why we must demand a change. It's our right. |

Tareq1105: My brother, there's hand of Esau in all these. I smell political undertones here.
They want to destroy Lagos to enable them penetrate or hijack it. It would not work.
Kilo de? Se won bi sori meja ni?
An attack on Lagos is an attack on South West.
They should go and attack South East, South South etc. If you're okay with how the country is being run, millions of people are not okay with it and can express their dissatisfaction via peaceful protests. It is their right. If anybody wants to make it violent, such person should be apprehended and prosecuted accordingly. If people resolve to protest, the Government cannot do anything to stop it. The Government can decide to impose curfew, but for how long will they do that? A smart government will find ways to address the concerns of the people. The police should do their job and ensure that the protest is peaceful rather than threatening the people. |

Well, updated to MIUI 12 on RN9s Global this afternoon. So far, no bug detected yet. No heating and battery still discharges normally.
The UI is fluider with better animations. Apps open faster and switching between apps is smoother. The optimization seems great.
The stock camera app has been replaced too and I think it's better. I really don't use the stock much tho.
I prefer not to use the new control center for now, but it's cool. Also the normal notification panel looks better.
All in all, it's a good upgrade and I hope there won't be much issues going forward.

Tedpgrass: You both are saying the same thing but from different perspectives..
There are urchins who are products of unfortunate circumstances.. These can be helped or rehabilitated easily
There are those who are pretty much self-made.. These ones will be difficult to engage with, till their psychological needs are treated. Not all will be redeemable, unfortunately.
And there are those who fall between the 2 ends of the spectrum.
. I agree with you. The irredeemable ones should be dealt with accordingly. |

vince49: I agree with some points u raised, but some Yoruba or Lagos youths are just touts waiting to be used by politicians during elections.
how can you rehabilitate someone who just wants to get rich quick without working for it.
how can rehabilitate someone who is always seen at alcohol spot almost every morning while his or her peers are at work hustling for daily bread.
The crimes rate in Lagos can be compared to any other state in Nigeria, from yahoo boys to house burglars using charms to subjects their victim to deep sleep or unconscious while the chart away valuables or properties they can find.
So you blame government for someone who is unwilling to change his or her personality.
one thing with street urchins is that u find them in every country of the world, so stop ur accusations against a government that is trying hard to sanitize a corrupt system. It's like you don't know the number of street urchins in Lagos. If you do, you won't write what you did above. Some of these street urchins/touts have some level of education, but their orientation is bad. Rehabilitate and provide jobs for them, monitor them and let them know that once they commit a crime, they will be apprehended, prosecuted and sent to jail. |

Amotolongbo: The Police training school can only train the physical and mental ability, they can’t raise the moral standard of the trainee That's why only people of credible character should be employed into the Police Force with measures put in place to remove unscrupulous elements from the system. As for the hoodlums, I'm not surprised. It has always been a time bomb waiting to explode. There's hardly any area in Lagos where you won't find jobless street urchins. They feel oppressed by those who are doing just okay and those who are well-to-do. The politicians are comfortable with their situation because they use them during elections for their dirty works. There's a lot of work to be done urgently to rehabilitate and engage these youths because they'll still be a problem in the future. |

Oracleforce: The last time I checked, An educational certificate is not equal to intellectualism...you can be a certified or certificated fool like some of your kinsmen in Edo state....who erroneously vote for a non-performing governor to prove a point.... We in the diaspora are watching from afar the repercussion of this election in the lives of Common masses in Edo state...and Nigeria at large... From the history of Nigeria politics, Naija governors usually put their best feet forward....they will do well in their first tenure so that they can appeal to the sympathy and conscience of their people to vote second in the second tenure....now that Obaseki has little or nothing to show in his first tenure, I wonder what he will do in the second tenure knowing fully well that he doesn't need your vote again... A lot of money has been expended for this political competition and somebody somewhere have sown his time, energy, resources waiting patiently to be rewarded and be paid back for the job well done and delivered.
Someone just won an election because he came up with a political slogan, "/Edo no be lagos " not that he has done goodly to deserve another term....naija is doomed. ....we are no more voting for candidate capacity and capability, we are only voting base on political cajolery and slogan....
Anyway, edo people, enjoy your evil days ahead and I wish you ixlxl... Are you trying to say APC is better for Edo? |
