If it's wrong to tithe , it will be wrong to give offerings , it will be wrong to give alms to the poor it will be wrong to praye etc .

There were three kinds of tithes under the law .theres a tithe to God and there's tithe to share and eat from . Anti tithers only dwell on one and use as a whole . The tithe to share is different from the one to God . Is done every 3 years .

Deuteronomy 26:12
When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;


But the tithe unto God is annual used for the work God

Leviticus 27:30
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's: it is holy unto the Lord.service and welfare for workers in the vineyard of God.

Numbers 18:21-25
21 And, behold, I have given the Levites all the tithes in Israel for an inheritance in return for their service which they serve, the [menial] service of the Tent of Meeting.

Was thinking along the same line...... some fearful pastor's car.... sooo many will look at the plate...look at the car. .. make a connection..... If your attack in on General overseers (G.O) you should be specific . Even general overseers may not have absolute control. It's all assumption . Before you register a church you must have board of trustees . As long as there's no evidence of misuse of funds . Assumptions should not be entertained . Their should be verification of facts

You are not a christian and you don't know how the church runs. A bank manager is not the owner of the bank money. A pastor is a volunteer , he's not the owner of church money . Every ministry has structure . Pastors are not paid for thier work. Most ministry will not even send someone to pastor a church unless he has a lucrative job. He preaches ,counsel and goes home . The officials takes offerings to bank . Most the pastor may only look at the record to pray over it . The pastor is accountable to the church headquarters . He cannot make expenditure without approval from there . There are checks and balances . You guys just post your own mind online without getting facts

The anti-tithers squad happen to be winning this battle this one that Uncle Joe Agbaje has started opening pro-tithing threads once again. 3 pro-tithing threads already between November 9th and 10th. It's like it's getting three times harder these days to convince mugus/magas to fall.

That I don't drink doesn't give me the right to call others who drink fools. Just because you don't tithe doesn't make others who tithe fools. What you did by giving to the needy is called "Choice" and right to do whatsoever pleases you with your money is your prerogative.

You and every other anti-tithe people out there are acting like the devil who's always angry when God is glorified.
