Dtruthspeaker:No need to scream. I only asked you to prove me wrong, it is that simple. What is the difference between the law of attraction and the teaching of - "Whatsoever ye desire, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.." as found in the Bible? |
Janosky:Lol You were not informed? Everyday, the hypocrisy of your organization gets more exposed. Your organization was receiving two forms of funding from the Norwegian Government. One from the religious community aid and another from the Norwegian Gambling Authority. Such bold faced blatant hypocrites! The "only true religion" is accepting free money from a Gambling Authority! Why is the "only true religion" so engrossed in receiving free money from "Satan's World"? What a show of SHAME!
|
Janosky:Lol. Call me whatever you want to - I know that is the best you can do. Name-calling is your Forte, so I am not bothered. The greatest enemies of Jehovah's Witnesses, are their own previous publications. |
Kobojunkie:He is not even ashamed. They say that the whole world in the control of "Satan the devil" and this control must also include financial resources too. They call other religions part of " babylon the great" They say they are the ONLY TRUE RELIGION. So why are they so engrossed in receiving free money from the same world controlled by Satan? Why would the ONLY TRUE RELIGION even receive any form of funding from a Gambling Authority in the first place? This is how they demonized the United Nations calling it the "Scarlet Colored Wild Beast" as found in the book of revelation. Only for us to find out that for 10 solid years, they were full time members of the United Nations as an "NGO" It is only when they were called out that they later renounced their membership of the United Nations. For further reading on the United Nations debacle with Jehovah's Witnesses - https://www.nairaland.com/6944208/jehovahs-witnesses-linked-united-nations |
Janosky:Lol. The biggest SHAME is on you. So you were not informed that they are two forms of funding your organizations was receiving from the Norwegian Government? 1. There is a standard grant every religious organization receives from the government - powered by the religious community act. Of which funding your organization was cut off from in 2021, because of your wicked shunning policies that violate fundamental human rights. 2. Another grant comes specifically from the Norwegian Gambling Authority. In 2022, your organization received over 4M Norwegian Krones from the Gambling Authority. How can the only true religion be so engrossed in receiving money from "Satan's World"? What sort of blatant hypocrisy is this? You say Gambling is a sin and a sign of greed, but your organization is receiving free money from a Gambling Authority! Wonders shall never end.
|
Otunbakayce:You are very correct. Jehovah's Witnesses are chronic hypocrites. One of their members created a thread where he mentioned that according to their own doctrines - Gambling is a sin and a sign of greed. Only for us to find out that their organization is receiving a yearly grant of over 3M US dollars from the Norwegian Gambling Authority. Imagine such blatant hypocrisy. You say gambling is a sin but you're still collecting millions of dollars every year from a Gambling Authority. See images attached for proof

Kobojunkie:I am here to learn from the best. Since I am in terrible error, kindly prove me wrong. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 |
What is the law of attraction? The law of attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes.Where Can We Find The Law of Attraction in Christianity? “And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.” – Matthew 21:22 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24 “If thou can believe, all things are possible, to him that believeth.” – Mark 9.23Prove Me Wrong. |
HellVictorinho7:Lol. "There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the inter spaces of the universe. A thought in this "substance" produces the thing that is imagined by the thought. Man can form things in his thought and by impressing his thought upon the formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created." - WDW |
sonmvayina:Hey bro. Speaking of the Orishas, do you know that when you study the Marvel Cinematic Folklore, it tells you that the god Bast in Wakanda is one of the Orishas. We must study ancient history and learn about the wisdom of our ancestors or else we are bound to repeat their mistakes. Know thy self! - this is the simple message. |
Courz:The silence from the OP @Jokanem is loud. You say gambling is a sin and yet your religious organization is accepting a yearly grant in millions of dollars from the Norwegian Gambling Authority. Please make it make sense. Is this is not blatant hipocrisy? Do as I say but not as I do? |
Aemmyjah:Since Gambling is such an evil habit and a form of greed, why is your organization receiving a yearly grant from the Norwegian Gambling Authority? Is that not a double standard? Last year alone, your organization was paid almost 4M US dollars from a Gambling Authority! Does that not make you a hypocrite?
|
oteneaaron:@Jokanem I am still waiting for a reply to my question. Cheers! |
TruthHurts100:This is quite unfortunate. No one deserves to die in such a horrible way. My sincere condolences to the families who lost someone over this gruesome act. |
baralatie:Go to their website and check. Total JWs world wide is not less than 8M members. So how can 5M be in Nigeria alone? Reason am |
obembet:You are wrong. There are not upto 5M Jehovah's Witnesses Nigeria. They should be slightly above 300k. They don't believe in the present system of government and therefore do not sing the national anthem nor vote in an election. It is quite an irony when you realize that even though they don't vote, they still enjoy or suffer from the policies implemented by the government. Even Jehovah's Witnesses have seen shege during this Buhari's government. The suffer touch everybody. |
Jokanem:Hi OP, Great thread. I have a couple of questions - Since gambling is a sin, why is the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Jehovah's Witnesses accepting grants from the Norwegian Gambling Authority? Just last year, you guys received over 4 million Norwegian Krones which is approximately over 3 million US dollars from their Gambling Authority. See image proof below -
|
Dtruthspeaker:When you say "God", try to be specific as to which deity you speak about. Sadly, you only speak out of ignorance. If only you studied ancient history, you wouldn't speak in such manner. |
LikeAking:Well, Christians and Muslims practice an imported religion. Funny enough, these imported religions are only cheap copies of the Ancient African "Religion", also known as the Old Religion. A simple investigation into the ancient origins of religion, civilization and science, will lead you back to Africa. According to history, the main message from "Old Religion" was simply - The Knowledge of Self. Know Thy Self. It was this knowledge of self that made our ancient ancestors build such megalithic structures like the Walls of Benin, The Pyramid of Giza, The Sphinx, etc. The first multi-genius ever recorded in history was the African man known as IMHOTEP - after he died, he was deified. He was first surgeon and is the true father of medicine and not Hippocrates. I can go on and on and on. We must go back to our roots and learn about our true origins or else, we will keep repeating the mistakes of our ancestors. Watch the video below and open your mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvQAw1kbg9o |
Sukersoc:Wow. You must have been a spirikoko. 😁😁 Truly, I might recognize you when we eventually meet. Feel free to dm me.I will keep this in mind. I faded, so those who know just think I'm inactive and that's fine by me.Lol. Same here too cos that's the easiest way out. I wasn't much of a spirikoko, altho since my days in the Uni, I was on the path to become an MS, but it got too competitive for my liking. As a bookworm, I was consistently consuming all of their publications especially the older ones and that was what led to my waking up. From researching the history of the organization, I went down the rabbit hole to researching the history of religion itself. |
Sukersoc:I won't call it "activism" per se, but I regularly call out their BS here on Nairaland and Facebook. I've been out for roughly 3 years now too. Good to know you're in Abj, hopefully we'll get to meet up in the nearest future. It's nice to meet you man. |
Sukersoc:Proud POMO here. Lol. E no easy true true. What about you? |
Sukersoc:There is a lot of speculation as to the reasons for his removal. These include allegations of alcohol abuse, especially as he had been video-taped ordering a trolley load of alcohol one Sunday morning when congregation meetings would have been in progress - see video below for evidence. Some believe that he may be implicated in the Pennsylvania Grand Jury investigation into child sexual abuse within Jehovah’s Witnesses. It’s possible that the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization deleted Morris in an attempt to distance themselves from any implication in this investigation. Another claim is that he publicly disagreed with another member of the Governing Body in ecclesiastical matters relating to prophecy. Whether any of these allegations are true remain to be seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HR4oBqrQ1UY |
achorladey:I kid you not. It was announced on Wednesday. The news has been trending since then on Reddit and YouTube. |
AntiChristian:Good for you bro. |
achorladey:Lol Did you hear that Anthony Morris III has been removed as a Governing Body member? Funny enough, this means he's no longer one of the faithless and undiscreet slave. At least he can now drink all the whisky he wants without hiding. See the video below where he was caught on camera on a Sunday morning shopping for some nice whisky. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HR4oBqrQ1UY |
AntiChristian:What if Obi wins? You cannot succeed in any endeavor with a negative mindset. |
That is the only way they know - Vote Buying This is what they call their "structure" which in reality, is a structure of criminality. A new Nigeria is truly POssible. Go out tomorrow and vote your conscience. No matter how much you are paid, it will not last you for the next 8 years. Don't sell you future. Don't sell your vote. Vote Labour Party. Vote for Mama, Papa and Pikin. Vote for Peter Obi. |
sonmvayina:It is his modus operandi, good thing you're not suprised. |
MaxInDHouse:I still repeat incase you didn't hear me - I don't need to be a member of any group or religious CULT like yours to have "faith" Perhaps you don't know why you're always arguing here well it's because you want others to agree with you!Another falsehood spotted. How I am always always arguing on NL? Anyone can check all your post on Nairaland and compare it to mine, and they will see clearly that you live and breathe to argue on Nairaland. Everybody knows your modus operandi - - beat around the bush, - insult and call people names, and - run away when you have no response. I don't need anybody on Nairaland to agree with me on anything. I only share information that requires people who think critically to make their own decisions. Can you say the same thing about yourself? |
MaxInDHouse:You keep looking for group action. Let me school you a little bit. I have told you countless times that faith is relative. I don't need to be a member of any group or religious CULT like yours to have "faith". Even the dictionary has 3 different definitions of the word "faith" NounAs you also clearly defined above, "faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for.." I still repeat, "faith" is relative and I don't need to be a member of any group or religious CULT like yours to have "faith". You can take that information to the bank and deposit it. You're welcome. |
