lobell:Lol. Will do. |
lobell:Where and what's that? Let's know it bro. |
Ssalk:Bro. Please let's know when you're done. Would be nice to have a read. @lobell, valid points but I think the attendant issues and solutions may be proffered in the thesis. Reason I'm interested in the work... Personally, from my humble angle and in somewhat agreement with your arguments, I think we are not being organic in our eCommerce enterprises and not taking advantage of the unique landscape each emerging market poses. A lot of vanity metrics spur the strategies and decisions asides the fact that expansion is ever so pursued without much recourse to logic and deep analysis that would allow them to feel the true pulse of the business. Of course, the slower economic realities add to the sad mix but many have fallen trap to basing their business on some fantastical indicies that is in no short supply when fast growing emerging markets are involved. I believe the next generation of eCommerce setups will take a lot to heart before ad during their dispensation the story has been the same from about 2 years now. Prudence, customer-centric, taking innovative advantage of the less-than-ideal infrastructure with intelligent integration... Efritin saw the writing on the wall and decided to bail outright. |

I could have sworn that Beat FM would be a top contender but numbers prove otherwise. |
Greatzeus:You got some facts wrong bro.. JAY Z writes all his songs save for features. He even wrote for Dr. Dre... first rapper to be inducted into Songwriter's Hall of Fame or something to that effect. I think Beyonce does too - I may be wrong - but she does employ a bevy of song writing talent, that's for sure. On point with Neyo and Babyface, likely accurate about Donell Jones too. Yup, it's in Nigeria we find it excruciatingly hard to employ others to write songs and when we do, we seldom want to give due credit thus making Davido very professional in his music business as regards song writing. It's a no-no to beef him for buying songs. Every aspect of the entertainment has specialization. |
BrutalJab:Let me come to @kotodoctor's defence with the belief that I know what he was inferring... The black man as I know him 8 times out of 10 will expend his future now. It really doesn't matter how the money came, especially if it's the first major windfall and even if that attainment of a rich man's status was rather gradual... he would more times than not live above his means or even if it is within his means, it would be needlessly lavish. Usually, the black man will in his prime, live a more stupendous lifestyle than a billionaire retiree with humongous returns on his investment portfolio. Just ensure he has the promise of money tonight and tomorrow morning - it doesn't have to extend further, he will most likely as they say, f*ck up. No. The whites are in no way gods. Majority just live a life not conditioned over generations by slavery and poverty. So they have a more prudent spirit to managing money. No all but the math is undeniable. |
lastchild:God bless you. Nigerian journalism/'blogism'. Hip Hop ko, Jukpa Trap ni. |
TWoods:I'm into branding and I'm absolute agreement with you but I'm also toying with the idea that some gimmick may pull the unsaved there. I read sething to that effect in the late Dr Miles Munroe's Seasons of Change, I think. |

Eh, eh... once bitten, twice...? Y'know. 2014/early 2015 sent in proposal to one NL 'investor'...we first chatted by email on which industry he'd prefer because I'm versed in 2 major industries, media and FMCGs... To cut long story short, nigga got my proposal and locked up immediately. I'm 1000% sure the product is what was and still is in the market from about a year later... 95% of the differenciating factors that set it apart was/is there. If you're here and you're the one (not OP), I admit I was dumb! No face-to-face meet, no phone contact... just email with a generic name sef... fake. Chai, there is God o. I'm over it though. I took one precaution and didn't reveal all that would help propel the idea especially from the positioning angle. Never again. |
KingSango:E remain small make I agree with you |
Guessing you have your concept and running order on place (and you are pretty confident the show will be able to have a listenership), you can either produce a pilot or record a whole set i.e. season, say, 12 or 13 episodes. The pilot is basically to shop for sponsorship cuz I tell you, media buy isn't beans but then again, it depends on the platform/station you plan on airing and sometimes, which segment. Who knows, they may give you a barter deal if you have something to offer them. If you like, get the entire show produced, then shop for sponsorship. It all depends. I believe you know the show would have a signature tune/theme music, presenter and/or host, the different segments if applicable et al. I produced a show on radio for 5 years... well, shortly Etisalat went 'bankrupt' and became 9mobile... they stopped sponsorship of many things then. Another is in the mix right now. |
Chukazu:If na joke, stop am o! |
abatically:Oh OK, can't remember where I got it then. Thought it was PlayStore o... but come to think of the attributes, I guess not! |
Getintouch2004:Playstore |
wale377:Toh! |
9japrof:Lol! |
I don't understand... There is something that we are partly happy about though many won't be able to enjoy it as it is obviously for the upper class, but you want to share the news... then in the same post, some bigots just derail what would have otherwise been a good discourse between bright minds -- the vision, the development, the pros and cons etc... This sad phenomenon happens time and time again on ANY issue/post and I'm FED UP of it! |
femi4:. Thank you jare; 'soft drinks'. No concession at the concession stand. Same in Brazil, UK, US, SA... |
1beat:One day I'll buy you a drink for points 1&2, especially for point 1. Many will not understand... I commend your insight. |
