They are only giving license for community radio at the moment which can't transmit from Lagos to cover 3 states. Reason the transmitting power for each station has been reduced to 2 kW The image for fees is from NBC website Let me know if you need tech consulting

Hello house. I hope this is the right place to ask this but I couldn’t find a better section IMP. How much would it cost averagely, to file proceeding for divorce and custody of children at the High Court? Asking for a brother. He got some quote and needs urgent response to know if he is not being taken advantage of. Thanks. |

Aptly documented. However, the case of destruction of Sanusi’s property and the “forceful” request for his akant no. for meager compensation is missing, ![]() |

executive12:On Adenuga, na you get your mouth o! But seriously, and I'm witness to 2 or 3, legit business men also lavish in such manner, it just depends on how deep their pockets are and their preferences. |
demefa:"...Some people find it an absolute bore and since they can afford it and find it readily available, why not" I can make shawarma and it most likely will cost me a fraction of what an outlet will charge me. When I patronize an eatery for it, I do so because it saves me time and effort. And you said it all: "It |
Let me drop something here... While I agree on some level, staying at a hotel is wastage but on some level, and I say on some level, it is very convenient, thus by the pocket of the person that decides to make a hotel an abode, economical. Take into cognizance diesel to power generators (not our kain 10 kVA o - I'm talking Mikano and the like), support staff to ensure conveniences to his taste are maintained, security concerns... Some people find it an absolute bore and since they can afford it and find it readily available, why not. Surely, these features are obtainable in some quarters but also bear in mind he may have a horde of guests he prefers to host outside his property as it is not out of place for such a man to have tasteful real estate. Let me not lie to you, when you are netting like a N10,000,000 and above a day on the average and very possibly legally too, most of the 'commentators' here go shift talk in support. A one-time boss stayed at same hotel for a year on his own bill and he is into clean business... Adenuga, on exile stayed at Burj in Dubai for months if not years on end... He would often summon his executives to meetings there and at about every 6 months call for about N300m for his bills - that was convenient for him especially security wise. Just an example. |
YorubaKinging:Ha, ha, ha... me love your post! |
Chai, AD is gone! Wow. Whatever happened to them? |
Spot on that it is a staple behaviour for artistes signed by artiste-driven labels and it is largely due to the fact that the executives are: 1. Not truly committed to the future of the acts they sign as they feel their own careers are more important and can not risk an overshadow. The sign-ons may just be a facade to show that the label isn't a one-act affair too. 2. At times also, these "signed" acts just pay to be affiliated with the labels to give them on their professional debut in the industry some kind of credibility. This doesn't seem to be the case with the aforementioned labels though but ish happens. The costs of breaking an artiste in the Nigeria of today isn't a joke. Only an artiste-label executive with a clear vision for artiste development will take the plunge without batting an eyelid. Even with a tonne of cash, the depletion rate is scary and not many have the patience or will power to see it through. That aside, the case for pure myopic belief that they - the established acts - have a perpetual shelf life often drives them to not envision any other future but themselves at the top forgetting that relevance (and income) may be sustained by diversifying with the industry. A man with an enviable catalogue is Olamide, and I say enviable as I believe (or hope) the contracts he extends to his diverse acts - the ones with better lasting material especially - will give him a good piece of the pie for a good while. That is if he did the needful like having a fine arrangement for right ownership and administration. I hope. Another person is Daddy Ifeanyi, Davido. From an observers vantage, he seems to be fair in pushing his acts, perhaps because of access to some cool cash but again, the will to do as required comes to play too. Dismal outings include eLDee but with the reboot of Trybe Records though. Sarz had "Beat of Life", K9 had the opportunity of a life time with "Kokoma" and these two heavy songs fell short due to, in my opinion, greater focus of the exec's music at that material time. 9ice didn't leave up to his name on the label side of things but he was biting more than his fragile frame could handle. Perhaps streamlined focus on one or two may have augured better. 2Baba hasn't fared too well either. Square Records was PSquare with a May D stint and not to be envied. Ditto for the favourite twins separate "labels" at the moment... Even lesser known acts but with money follow this pattern as their careers are more important than any other person's. The Don Corleon of DCCR dude had an ace in his kitty with Alabai but after "Ogbanje", nothing else and the guy has resumed his overbearing presence even with an alleged signed act... Too many artiste-run, one-man shows label-wise out there but this is purely to have a name as they are essentially independent acts that just need a business name when releasing music... Let's see what Naira, Zlatan et al. bring to the table. |
I gave my house documents to my cousin to take a bank loan of 3 million naira but I like to retrieve my documents back because of the way he and his wife have been doing things since October, 2019. He is involved in sales of agrochemicals. He discussed with me on how profitable the business is but that he didn't really have money to put into it. The wife lost her job in the bank and had to join him in the business. Being a close cousin and friend of mine, I gave out my house documents to him as collateral and the bank actually came to do some inspection in my house and I signed some documents. The big issue now is that my cousin have not paid a dime back since August last year when he got the loan and between then and now he has done 3 parties that I'm sure gulped lots of money. The wedding of his younger sister in October, wedding of his brother in law in December and 40th birthday of his wife in January. These were serious lavish parties which I think could be done modestly. I asked him on Monday about the loan and he said his moratorium will expire in February and there's no cause for alarm. This is different from what he told me before I released my documents, he said he will have gone far in repayment even before the expiration of moratorium. I reminded him about this but he said there is no problem about his ability to pay back since the business is lucrative. I also discovered that one of our uncles actually borrowed him 2 million naira in 2017 which he hasn't paid back till now, he hasn't paid a dime back, I didn't do due diligence before releasing my documents to him. Uncle told me yesterday that he would have discouraged me from giving out my documents if I had informed him before the loan was granted. Uncle also told me that he disagreed with him about his clubbing and partying lifestyles as a struggling businessman but that instead of appreciating his concern, he and his wife fought him and boasted his 2 million naira will be paid back before mid 2018 but till today he hasn't paid a dime. Hope I haven't shot myself in the leg with this help which I think I rendered to a friend and family? The worst part of it is that my wife was not fully in support of my intention to help him then. Where do I start from good people? He promised to start paying by January ending, if he fail to do this, is it possible to break that bond and retrieve my documents from the bank? Can I tell him and the bank that I'm no longer interested in guaranteeing the loan? I'm afraid, kindly help.
Please house forgive for quoting that lengthy post before commenting but it’s for emphasis. Now to my comment... Firstly, he, he, heeei!!! What I’m going through now for this same format is not a joke. I am actually paying a loan back as it was taken for a friend since he wasn’t credit worthy... he promised heaven and earth about paying back promptly on a monthly basis since like mid last year, nothing! I’m so stupid as the loan is now officially mine. He currently has at least 4 other loan defaults and I’m guarantor to 2. My name was dropped with a third finance company without my consent and I’ve been brokering repayment plan. December, he promised to offload a property he has that would go for no less than N20m. Ok good, at least he can settle all these loans and I can breathe... Wifey who wasn’t down with it from day 1 - and we fell out seriously over this issue - said it’s a scam. And truly it was o. Oya na, Buyer dey ground and will pay half first... Bobo change mouth say “it defeats the purpose”. The whole idea was just to make one negotiate a less stringent repayment plan with the lenders promising by mid January after sale of property, it will all be settled. I’m afraid you’re on your own. Do you see any parallels? |
