Pls how many times do i have to delete an appointment date and reschedule another one? i think i messed up my appointment date due to the late available date that i saw on the platform which is April 2020 . i thought i was fotunate to see march 11th on the platform and i quicly pick it, but i was told by someone that visa gets ready in two weeks time after visa approval, pls i want to seek ur candid advice, what can i do as regards to this, i made an appointment for march 11, 2020 and i will be having a conference to attend on march 16, 2020 .

Lemme say this in pidgin English to make it really clear.

Make una forget all these idea of travelling for conferences, graduation ceremony, siblings child naming ceremony using IV letters etc. Those things have been grossly abused by our dear brothers and sisters before now. Chances of getting the visa are miniscule.
If the conference is not company sponsored(not like that has high success rate either) just don't waste your money. By default, the VO sees all non-immigrant visa applicant as a potential migrant, coupled with the many troubles in Nigeria, we are worse hit.

I advise people took a chill pill and stop wasting $160 visa fee, for now. If you must pay that, make sure whatever reason (besides trying to run away and become an illegal immigrant) you are travelling for, is worth it. Just saying

Just so you know, most of us here run from that word 'medicaid'.

However, cases like this are the reason DT is trying to limit the classes of immigrants into the US. I once read an article where he said they don't need people that'd come into their country and depend on government handouts. As a matter of fact, same article said if you cannot afford to take care of yourself and family without government assistance, then don't come. Don't know how true though.

How can you even be couple of days old on US soil and want medicaid?

in my best opinion if USA want people to come in legally and not thru b1/b2 they should ease their immigration a little bit, because right now there is no legal way to migrate to d state except for education..
I know some people who wish to come back home to see their dam but they can't them scared of deportation that why the misuse of b1/b2 is common

The way I see it is, if the USA say they don't want immigrants, it's totally up to them but they shouldn't use that as an excuse to refuse every other person that applies for a visa. There are no specifics now as it relates to visa approval, that's not good.
