Christianity Etc › Re: Doesnt God Know Those Already Going To Hell? by oweniwe(m):
rationalmind: I will keep asking since u refused to answer.
Why punish people for choosing evil when you gave them the ability to choose evil? Why give them the ability at all? Why create them when you knew they will end up choosing evil.

God knew I'd one day become an atheist n go to hell, yet he went ahead to create me. Now its me that will go to hell. Infact, God should go to hell for such an evil act.
bro. . Please stop thinking negatively and irresponsibly like this. .
. irresponsibly way of thinking

Let's reason it from the angle of an automobile. When a automaker, say Mercedes Benz produces cars, they produce the cars wit the best of their ability. . After producing 2 million cars, does the auto maker know which one will have accident or not? If the auto maker says. . I don't want any of my cars to be involved in a accident. . Then they wasted resources producing the cars in the first place coz they'll never leave the showroom. . .

Before anything can be perfect, it has to be but into use and tried. . Just as we use and drive cars. . Some serve their purpose, some require repairs to sort out issues, some develop defects, and some involve in accident. . All the improvements you see in cars today. . All those safety features is as a result of these trials and accidents .. . Auto makers know cars will be involved in accident but it depends entirely on d car's owner. . How he maintains and drive his vehicle. . . Not that cars with so so and so serial numbers will definitely have accident. . No, its not like that. .

Its the same with man. Man was alright when he was created in Eden just like a car in d showroom. . But man has to be tested, tried and refined to become Perfect . .. . If you endure and resist sin and give ur life to God, He'll always be there for you. . If you choose to live ur life rakelessly , get accidented and crash.. . Its not God's fault that you choose to live a life of sin when you can live a godly life just as its not toyota's fault when a car owner over speed or over fills him car engine wit engine oil or improperly inflate tires that result in accident. .

Man is created for a purpose just as cars are created for a purpose. . If a car can talk. . And begin to ask its owner. . Why did you buy me? Don't you know i'm going to have accident? Don't you know my tire will burst? . .

I hope you understand now. . My humble opinion

It depends on the type of chat. ,

If it is 1 to 1 sharp sharp chatting, 2go is better. And you get to make new friends too. . Those complaining of small kids being on 2go, if you trim and maintain a strict friends list, no wahala nau. . . And d facebook gateway is big plus. .

But for long , intermittent, boring chats wit people on my contacts, whatsapp will do. Nothing more

Unfortunately, I'll have to eat my words, I said the Volvo XC90 dosent consume much fuel, but after driving a friends. Toyota highlander 4 2dys I've been able to compare the fuel consumption and I must say the XC90 consumes a whole lot of fuel compared to the highlander infact is drinks the fuel lol. i had to put this update up so that intending buyers would know what they are getting themselves in2.

secnelly: ^^^tnx for d post @ op.

Buh could there be any counter to this claim? As in people who went through the entire process and succeeded to the Trainee programme?
If not, there is need for another back up from other nls to the OP's claims. . .
bro, use ur head nau. . Normal recruitment process is not like that. In normal recruitment, you apply or drop CV, then call for aptitude test, and then interview before documentation and medicals. .

But this one. . How and when did you apply for the job? How did they get your email address? Must have been through fake vacancy adverts placed online that one applied for.

Then from nowhere, you got mail to come for documentation at some fancy hotels instead of the company's corporate HQ . . If you ask for change of location to warri or PH, they'll send u mail asking you to pay 3k first

Why ask job seekers to pay 3k to "the outsourcing firm" that has no name or address? Why should payment be made into a personal account instead of company account? If you're paying for something, you should at least see what you're paying for first. You'v not seen or met anybody, no appointment letter, , nothing. . And one is asked to pay 3k before 4pm to a first bank account. . If first bank is far from your vicinity, what will you do?

I got this same mail yesterday night. . About 3 weeks ago, they sent me same mail with exactly same content, but another company name= Pan Ocean Oil & Gas (instead of Pan Ocean Oil Corporation). They used the original Pan Ocean logo . ,

And you'll be asked to pay into a personal account instead of corporate/account. . Hmmm

Car Talk › Re: Tariff On Imported Tokunbo Cars Raised by oweniwe(m): 2:40pm On Oct 04, 2013
texazzpete: We want people like you and the politicians in power to use their brains and think! We want the Government to encourage local production...such can EASILY be done with schemes like tax rebates, reduced import duties for parts importation and even free ad airtime on National TV and Radio station. What the FG has done is to make it even more unattractive to import the modern, fuel efficient and safer vehicles our roads are CRYING for...and to what benefit? To 'encourage' one businessman who assembles vehicles on a small scale, vehicles that many Nigerians rightly are yet to decide to patronise over durability, longevity and safety?

Let Innoson et al continue to sell their cars and establish their brand. let them compete against the established players. They cannot compete on quality, let them compete on price.

I know paid propagandists like yourself do not do any legitimate work...but let me tell you how this operates. Nigeria is filled with millions of people who work from morning to night to make a living. These people work VERY hard, are paid salaries which are then TAXED by the Federal Government. When they go home, they often have to generate their own power, pump their own water and pay for local security. Then this same delinquent FG turns around and deliberately makes it HARDER for them to buy a vehicle they truly like, in favor of a local automaker that has not even made a very serious effort to tell him why the cars assembled locally are worth his hard earned naira.

This is not about "Nigerians think anything foreign is better". We are not talking about clothes or shoes where that may apply. In the eyes of most Nigerians, Honda/Toyota >>> Innoson.
you are talking and reasoning like this because you are a consumer of goods and services, not a producer or manufacturer or employer of labor. . If you are a producer. . . Of lets say steel rods. . . You want to employ more people and add value to your country. . . You will not be reasoning that way. . .

God will bless you. . That one day. . You will be buoyant enough to set up a farm, manufacturing company or service providing company. . Ordinary torch light mobile phone, we don't produce in nigeria. . God will bless you to establish a phone manufacturing company in nigeria. . . Wen you see the way massive importation of low end phones that you can comfortably produce wit the right support and policies, that will help you expand and employ more jobless graduates. . . You won't be thinking the way you are thinking

anex4real: This is a confirmation that our president has ran mad again. The population of Nigeria is around 150 million with over 92% living below average. How many among this 92% can afford a brand new car with 18,000 naira as the minimum wage, why can't they increase the tarriff on new imported cars too, the rate at which the government itself import new cars is alarming. MR PRESIDENT COME 2015 IT WILL BE PAY BACK TIME.
do nigerians buy their tokunbn 1.5m 2004 Camry or Accord with 18,000 minimum wage? Is it people who earn 18,000 monthly that buy tokunbn cars? Some people and their poverty mentality reasoning

it is because of people like you. . That is why newly elected officials abandone projects started by their predecessors. . . That is why we hav so many uncompleted govt projects in this country. . If an elected official enters and sees uncompleted projects on ground, . He will start thinking. . "if i complete this project, people will say it my my predecessor that started it. . People will say i am taking the glory of another person. . Ok. . I will abandone the project"

We complain of poor power supply. . Goodluck did well by completing this project that'll boost power supply. . Instead of appreciating. . You're complaining. . . If Goodluck abandoned the projects like ya'adua did, you would complain. . He continued and completed the projects and you're still complaining . . Wat do you want sef. . The way some Nigerians think and reason. . I don't understand at all
Car Talk › Re: Tariff On Imported Tokunbo Cars Raised by oweniwe(m): 1:10pm On Oct 04, 2013
I marvel at Nigerians negative mentality. . We want to enjoy improved power supply, yet when Goodluck commission Geregu II power plant yesterday, people were criticizing that he is not the one who started the project. . . They complain about ASUU. . Goodluck should pay then whatever they ask for with money meant for fuel subsidy, yet if fuel price increase tomorrow, they will be shouting. .

We complain that Nigeria does not produce anything. . We berate and criticize the government for not doing anything to encourage local production and manufacturing. . . If the government spend billions to import technologies like INEC did wit data capture laptops or import aircrafts, . We will shout and abuse the govt.. . Now the government is taking measures to encourage and promote local assembly and manufacturing of vehicles. . . People are still complaining. . What exactly do you people want? angry

25 x 414MW

that is over 10000MW .

When people call him mediocre,we know what we are talking.
Iraq whose power infrastructure was bombed out during the first and second gulf war has added/adding more than 10000MW SINCE THE WAR ENDED 2 yrs ago.
You are here defending an obviously mediocre president .
I wonder what project of national strategic significance he will commission once he exits the tail wind of OBJ's regime's fiscal prudence.
bro. . If you think its so easy to rule Nigeria and turn the country into a paradise within a few years, why don't you go and contest for presidency instead of being an armchair critic?

What have you as a citizen of Nigeria done for this country? Nigerians are fond of abusing and criticizing their leaders for poor performance, but when they have a chance to taste power, then end up doing exactly like the leaders they were criticizing. . . Like Reuben Abati.

Good morning house. .

I would like to ask a question. . .

All the applications i've dropped are titled "APPLICATION FOR GRADUATE TRAINEE PROGRAMME" . . However, it feels like i'm limiting myself with that coz i know there are other entry level vacancies available that i can competently handle (e.g. Admin Assistant, ICT roles) that doesn't fall within the confines of graduate Trainee.

My confusion now is, whether to continue applying with Graduate Trainee title or apply for other roles. . e.g Admin Assistant or ICT Officer coz from what i'v seen with the HR folks, when they see the "Graduate Trainee" Title, they just shake head, put up a empty look and put aside my application without asking further questions
