Whats with the condemnation and self righteousness? ![]() i believe most of you here venting watches Hollywood movies with sexual content (spartacus, Game of thrones) and i haven't seen one thread against that. Should Nollywood now stay away from a particular genre of movie cos of our collective hypocrisy or should erotic scenes be so unrealistic it'll look like a joke? I believe these movies are rated for a reason so please Y'all, spare us your rants |
big head: People pls is there any software or alternative that I can use in unlocking my laptop as I've forgotten the password used.Which password do you mean? Bios or windows password? |
"The heart of man/woman is desperately wicked". Take heart & move on with your life. Its sad when supposed adult can't take responsibility for their actions. Let karma avenge u |
Dyt: Yes ooLol madam Where's my own letter eh? |
Lol Women & their games @op u should have seen this coming now. It's d Oldest trick in d book. Never ever confess ur indiscretion to a lady unless u were caught with your hands in the cookie jar & even then, apologize for what u were caught doing & zip it. Don't go feeling all sanctimonious & spill ur guts out cos They never forgive or forget! Well u should be genuinely mad at her for playing you like that. Don't beg! It'll only make u look more pathetic. |
Nice one @op! It's always better to put it out there & know for sure than to keep wondering. That said, where are my NL crushes eh biko? I'm waiting for my letter(s) |
Cogent: See lie firstNo need to lie on a faceless forum man ![]() Read my post again |
I think its the unavailability of the guy that makes him more appealing than most. Everybody wants something somebody has already got. The exclusivity increases the appeal. Ever wonder why "limited edition" items are always more expensive and sells out more than the normal edition of same item even though nothing is different? I remember back when i use to wear a wedding ring just for the fun of it. Ladies for me then were a dime a dozen! one day 2 beautiful classy ladies walked up to me to in a shopping mall to ask if i was really married. they ended up giving me their numbers and like they say, the rest is history. They were fascinated that a young guy like me was married and flaunting it too. That was the day most of my single friends got themselves wedding rings ![]() That period taught me a very valuable lesson and that's why I'll never tell a girl I'm interested in that single . its always "I'm in a very serious relationship I'm not willing to end". That gets them every time because they don't expect it. makes me wonder though |

Jeffy1206: I think once you restart your phone, and using mobile network, just open ur bbm it will come back on...That's the strange thing, it opens but messages wont deliver, no notifications & all. No activity of any kind. Looking at it, U would think my data bundle has expired. |
I have an issue that's driving me nuts. after updating bbm & getting it active using my office wireless, everything worked like magic both on wireless & mobile network. The problem now is once I restart my phone while using it on mobile network, BBM stops working while every other app that needs data connection keeps working like normal. I can neither send nor receive bbm messages but as soon as I enable wireless connection in d office, BBM starts working until the next restart on mobile network. I've uninstalled & reinstalled d app to avail. This didn't use to happen with the older version. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Don't want to downgrad & I use a Samsung galaxy s3 |
Are u guys still on this? ![]() In as much as I hate sweeping generalization, I'd say the ladies are more guilty of this but u still can't take away the fact that some guys don't know any better & don't just know when to stop. A good conversation goes beyond words. It also involves watching out for indicators/subtle hint on how the conversation is going. A lady would usually drop these hints when chatting & if you are perceptive, you'll never go wrong. ![]() If she's sounding off & uninterested, there may be several reasons for that. Chucking it all up to low IQ is just plain wrong & stupid! it could be that she's not up to it, bad timing, something wrong, or just the simple fact that she's not interested. Learn to read the signs & know when to stop! And for the ladies, it doesn't really matter who initiates the conversation. People who worry about this are just petty & immature. Its funny how the whole feminist agenda & women equality takes back seat when matters like this comes up ![]() If I try to strike up a conversation with any lady & I get the Monosyllabic response, I'll let her be right after I make sure she's fine. If she continues like that subsequently, I'll delete her & move on. You can't win them all & Life is just too short to be encumbered with such nonsense. ![]() The best conversations I've had are the ones that ended long before we ran out of things to talk about. ![]() Ofcourse all of the above doesn't ake away the fact that some people are just plain dumb & stupid. That's what the delete button is good for ![]() |
The road to achieving the CCIE cert is not an easy one and can cause a lot of frustration and disappointment but again that’s like the PHD of cisco Certifications. Over the years my fascination with IT & then Networking has brought me to this point where I feel nothing matters more than being among that elite group of people who has bagged this very elusive certification. Mind you, it’s not all about the certification but the exceptional skill set that comes with being a CCIE . Thankfully I work with a company that’s exposing me to all I need to achieve this and would like to use this opportunity to interact with like minds who are preparing for the CCIE or already Certified experts to share their stories, ideas, experiences, materials and to encourage each other. Hopefully this thread would be an inspiration and a template for all future CCIE aspirants. I believe with hard work, we would get there as nothing is impossible. cheers |

Well I see nothing spectacular here, this is what any responsible human being would do especially security officials who are well armed & don't have the Nigerian police wahala to worry about |
The lessons from our parents lives stick with us for a long time and we form our views and opinions as we move on with life. Whether consciously or subconsciously, the adults we become is usually heavily influenced by the successes or failures of our parents in different areas of life. Looking at a long range of issues from cheating, dating, manners, and our general interactions with people and the environment shows exactly how parental influences come in hand. Sometimes they aren’t obvious, they can be subliminal with the mother who teaches her daughter all men ain’t shit. Or the man who teaches his son to treat women badly based on the examples he sets, this is of course the more obvious example. They all play a role. So my question is how much of an influence (negative/positive) were your parents in your life. As for me, their life has made me focus more on being happy/fulfilled in everything I do than on acquiring wealth. Sometimes it amazes me how wealth can bring so much misery in people's life. Money truly can't buy happiness |
Idowuogbo: ^dis fine boy still dey nlLol well I'm back from my self imposed exile. How are u doing? It's been ages ![]() |
Originakalokalo: i don't agree with you.And what of "parents, do not provoke your children to anger" It's tiring when people let common sense jump out of the window when religion comes into play |
Originakalokalo: they can as well shove it?Well I don't believe I must marry in a particular church or in a church for that matter. So long as there's a man of God to bless the marriage. Redeem can as well shove it too. We let too many people decide too much what goes on in our personal lives. I'm really not up for that |
Harbosede02: selfish??did u jst say dat?wah parent wud be selfish 2 their own child...anyways i knw my own parent shaYeah I did! Thank God you're only vouching for your own folks I've seen parents who practically sold off their daughters to the highest bidder to satisfy their own selfish whims regardless of what's good for them and contrary to popular beliefs our parents don't always know what's best for us |
^^ Ok and if their reason is flimsy? Some parents can be funny & selfish you know |
Originakalokalo: @ ozone, that is risky ooooooo.Depends on their reasons for refusing their blessings. If it's race, religion, culture, pedigree or the age long beef then they can as well shove it. ![]() It's about time they let us live our lives & let us make our own mistakes since they've lived theirs |
Dyt: Oya kiss smallNo now, it can't be a small kiss after all these while. You know I've missed you plenty Aawwww don't worry dear, I'll make it up somehow. Come *arms outstretched* |
Dyt: Is dat supposed to b a hug?More than that dear, how about kisses? It's been too long |
Dyt: Dis fine dudeHehehe before before? ![]() and here I was hurrying to come to you ![]() |
Dyt: LWMKM oooooLol as in! ![]() Good to know nothing has changed here |
I would ordinarily expect her to initiate when she feels like it, there's no rule in my book that says we don't have equal right to that. I love women who are not bounded by societal stereotype or believes, a woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go get it. |
Sure, if both parents are being unreasonable |
