CareerRe: A Brother URGENTLY Needs Advice On A Job Offer by Oxone(m): 1:31pm On Jul 12, 2014
Ema2nty: Thanks guys for your contributions.@afrocandy, I was told that I would sign legal bond with the coy that will prevent me from leaving. According to the terms of the bond, I can only leave wen I have worked for a minimum of two years afta training. My problem is I don't know how robust their training is, as they're a very young firm with no strong presence yet so am not even sure of the career path there. Am very confused right now cos I really need to start doing something. Staying at home with no money in one's pocket is not funny at all
18 months training and a bond that lets you leave after 24 months? undecided

Is it just me or does this arrangement stink to high heaven. So let me get this straight, a company trains you for 18 months and lets you leave 6 months after?

I seriously doubt that. What kind of training last 18 months? PHD? undecided

I strongly advise you don't sign away your future for a plate of porridge cos the offer isn't anything to write home about. Leave your options open because something good is always around the corner. Make them understand you'll be willing to work your arse out but that you wont be signing any bond
CareerRe: Should I Return Salary Paid In Error After Resignation? by Oxone(m):
AmenJoan: So this issue has taken a new dimension, I have been asked to write another resignation letter and put today's date. Something is sounding fishy about this? What do I do guys, please help
Something doesn't smell right here so I'll advice you do the following

Have them send you a mail to that effect so that you'll have proof of whats going on.

Don't write the letter instead send them a mail demanding for what you're owed and make them understand that you'll write to CBN and the media if push comes to shove.

Their reaction after this will inform your next decision. i believe you should give them a chance to do the right thing before taking it further.

In the meantime, Return the money cos they can sabotage your new job

RomanceRe: Help: I Need To Find A Husband Soon by Oxone(m):
Kinkybraids: please dont take offence... But how old are you now? As much as i dont want to agree with them my parents are right sad... And if i dont start thinking about it and being open to guys that want marriege then i just end up old and with meaningless relationships
I'm curious as to what u call old. The question is what's important to you seeing as its your life and you're the one who'll have to live with the decisions you make.

I find it funny when people especially ladies play the "nobody will want me when I'm old card". That's so not true cos it's only a fool who'll let age stop them from being with a truly amazing person & I don't care what a any other person had to say. Your main focus should be being the best you can be and in no time you'll find that every other thing falls into place.

It's obvious your parents desperation are gradually becoming yours and that's not so good as it makes you become someone nobody would want to be with. Is your priority getting married early or living a fulfilled life (married or otherwise).

i'll cap this up with a tale of a friend's wedding I went to last week. The guy is 35 and the girl is 33 and I'd never seen a happier couple. The lady is a catch. In every sense of the word and any man would be lucky to have her and I know alot of other couples who are happy like that with their supposedly "old" catch and won't give them up for any of the "brand new ones"
RomanceRe: Friendzone In Picture...(photos) by Oxone(m): 7:57pm On Jul 11, 2014
The truth is the heart wants what the hear wants. We can't always control who we far in love with. 2 people can start off as just friends or friends with benefit and then the feelings creeps in. Sometimes it can't be helped

The onus then lies on whoever is catching the feelings to weigh his or her options and decide if they can handle it or not. If u can't, walkway but they don't go pretending it's OK when it's not & don't go moaning about how u've been zoned
RomanceRe: Friendzone In Picture...(photos) by Oxone(m): 7:32pm On Jul 11, 2014
lynpetra: You will seriously hate this zone if you are in love cheesy
It's te worst I tell you, although for the weak hearts. When a guy/ gurl who loves you know its about thes.exx.and the fact he is always available,it hurts like hell. For example, she have a serious man out of town, she got this introvert who is inlove, she spents time with him cos he is available to do her little biddings,"honey please when coming, can you stop by and get me so so so and so,don't worry about the dough,I will pay back(some might feel bad cos this),"Hon,please I am Hot o,please come over, bring condom and a bottleof wine","sweery,I dey salon, please I need your help,I left my keys under the rug, please help take my laundry to that drycleaner near the house"Then one day,"Baby please no calls,my bf is around, let me do grin the calling ok. grin
Lol well it depends on the terms of agreement o. Some people sha too dey assume. U gt down with them once and they believe u're already in a relationship. Subtle hints no dey work for them o

lynpetra: I have this innate ability to perceive a good, honest man.It rarely happens but when it does,it hits me and if I go further to find out more,I realise my instincts initially wasn't misleading. So if I see a temptation,I treat such as a temporal thing.
Good for you!

Like I said, your best bet is do exactly what you want regardless of the other person's motives and you'll never have anything to worry about

Sanchez01: Question is; how do you know if he just wants to be a friend and nothing more? The whole thing still boils down to DEFINITION!!!
Exactly! some guys wont say what they want upfront hoping she'll read their mind or wait till the friendship is too far gone.

Those are the ones that are here crying the most. grin

lynpetra: Lol.Those who.res are the ones getting married to good looking, quite and simple men. That's just my observation.Fortunately, thus days people are beginning to see deception from afar.If a guy tells me 'I love you' I go just laugh.I go just tell am straight,"please abeg, don't tell me that.If I like you,you don't need to ask me out if I wanna get down but no bring love enter the matter before my pussy go dry" cool
hahahaaahahaha u no go kill person for here

And what if they really do?

Not everybody is deceptive and some look that way even when they are being honest. for me just always do what you want and you'll never find youself at the short end of the stick smiley
RomanceRe: Friendzone In Picture...(photos) by Oxone(m): 6:36pm On Jul 11, 2014
lynpetra: Majority of some female friends I know who are honest are married.See pretence can hardly one a good man.Infact, they had problems knowing who to choose sef, because suitors plenty like water.
The best people i know are the ones who are unpretentious. The sad thing is people who are quick to judge them and label them whores without knowing the first thing about them and end up missing out of knowing really great people.

I always believe You have nothing to lose by being honest and everything to gain and that's from experience

Like they say "The best things are found in unexpected places"

FrancisTony: End Of Discussion- The sid chic is simply cheap. A wh..ore. undecided
That's what you'll like to believe but that's probably all she's interested in.

Hard as it might sound, not everyone want exclusivity and that doesn't make them whores/Ashis.

Lets stop the pretense/hypocrisy
RomanceRe: Friendzone In Picture...(photos) by Oxone(m): 6:27pm On Jul 11, 2014
lynpetra: And it doesn't bring headache and lies too.I like honest relationships.Sometimes emotions can make one do stupid things, but its best to do it based on the knowledge of truths.
Exactly! but not everyone can handle that level of truth despite what they all like to believe. With honest relationships, you can finally/totally be yourself all the time which is much more fun but people too dey like pretense i swear
RomanceRe: Friendzone In Picture...(photos) by Oxone(m): 6:12pm On Jul 11, 2014
lynpetra: Yea it is true. Most overthrow madam ooo. While madam is comfortable, some chic is at work.
You go shock say you go dey overwork for the guy while he's doing same for madam.

Reminds me my neighbor back then in school, he had this gf he loved but had another chic on the side. Ofcourse everybody knew who number one is including the other chic (more beautiful & classier than madam o). when he's with the side chic and madam calls that she's coming, the side chic would move to my room and wait until madam has come and gone and she'll return to his room. This she does happily and without complaint o. it was like magic to the rest of us

It was after that experience that i made up my mind never to tell any girl i was single. Leaves room for maneuvering if need be

Exactly! Nothing you do or say would sway them.

If you seduce them finish, they'll still let you know it cant go beyond that. That's when you see ladies willing to be side chics hoping/hustling to overthrow madam someday cheesy
