Money Heist S1 and S2 fairly ok, S3 and S4 unnecessary and uncalled for and i predict the end of the series will be bland.

I hope it worth it??
Worth it...The 3 seasons are certified fresh on RT. It has one of the best time travel theories i have seen in a long while and the intricacies of the stories are so beautiful..pls watch it with the German dub and get subtitles, it is more fulfilling.

Very true.

I'm on Android 9.0 Pie and I use IDM. I mainly use it for problematic sites or Netnaija when I need faster download speed. And like you said downloading movies in parts. I mainly use Opera for Fz downloads cos I know it's usually superfast(800kb-1.2mb) so I don't bother much for faster speeds.

One thing I don't like about IDM is the separate folder it uses to store it's videos, even though I've directly changed it to Emulated 0 download path. undecided Also IDM has a slower inbuilt browser(I'm not talking bout the downloading but the site browsing itself)I don't like having too many folders with different sets of videos on it. It's a cluster fvck.

I no know which Kain juju say make I use UC Browser oo. Wetin I never use for more than one year. I just say make I test whether him brain don correct cos I need alternatives. It's dangerous to depend on only one source.
Ucweb is a time waster and clogs up unnecessary space and if a download fails why changing sims, the route to resume it na die!..

Download managers like IDM are not primarily made for browsing so thier in built browsers are always meh...you are probably on an updated version cuz mine stores what ever file i download to the folder i assigned to it... that's why i keep apk files of my fav app just in case an update is trash i will simply uninstall and side load the older version grin

Yea, 170mb is small. It's only significant cos I'm on a budget(for data) recently. I rarely do massive downloads unlike before. Normally, I use about 2.7GB per day when I'm downloading movies. Off day, 500-800mb.

On Airtel night plan, it's not true for me. I simply port between my Sims when downloading and data exhausts. It resumes automatically on Opera Mini (latest version) everytime, as long as the file features pause and continue. That's why I never bothered that I had 200mb remaining while trying to download a 400mb file.

I've used UC mini before and to me it definitely doesn't measure up to Opera Mini's last 7 versions. On Opera I've paused downloads for over a week and the data still there and it continued where I stopped a week later. Eg, I used this very recently sef for Westworld. I paused the file and downloaded the remaining part when I decided I was ready for the series after I cleared up my previous watchlist.

I do this regularly, especially for a film I have in mind to watch but don't have space or time for it yet, as a reminder.
If you use an andriod device with Os 4.2 (Jellybean) upwards, it is better you get a download manager like Adm or Idm+, these handled downloads far better than opera mini and also accelerates download, it's best when you on a limited internet where you have to put off data and change Sims.

I hope season two is a lot better than one.
I gave a rating of 5/10 for the S1 two days ago or so... probably you didn't see it..had a good premise as an anthology but poorly delivered...best hope the S2 is better.

Living in Bondage: Breaking Free ....... 6/10

This was a predictable Nollywood film and I hated the ridiculous Premise. Acting most times was Plastic-like or unconvincing. The Only person who pulled off Acting like it was nothing was veteran boss Ramsey Nouah. The rest were meh.

The Cinematography was top notch, a massive improvement from Nollywood, I was quite surprised and impressed. The Scenery was lit. And the Cars, yep pretty much added some points to it.
The film could have been better but the ending seemed rushed. Imagine ending a film with about 10mins of screentime. Funny people were even teasing a Sequel. grin

Imagine this was the film hyped by Nollywood to the high heavens breaking and setting records left right. Ok. Next joke pls. It's almost no different from Africa Magic Epic albeit with a better budget and camera equipment and technique, also some BIG stars/veterans.

#next from Nollywood— October 1 and Merrymen 2. undecided
grin Merry Men 2? It will sha end in premium tears.

If this theory of yours is the standard guideline for time travel, then there should be no reason to go back to the past because the past might as well be the present.

You are looking at a time as a constant rigid value which it isn't.
Time is ever flowing, go back into the past through one point and exit through another and you will live forever.

You are dead in 2020 doesn't mean you will be dead should anyone go looking for you in 2019.

If you can find a way to time travel while retaining your consciousness, that is the secret to immorality
.
i firmly believe one can't time travel if the said person is dead.

therefore retaining one's consciousness and time travelling is key as you rightly said...one can travel anywhere in time for all time (if "for all time" is even plausible again in this scenario).

However going back in time to meet someone who is already dead in the present and not taking any action that prevents the death in the present but simply doing a time jump past the present where the person dies is a concept that seem too wild and far fetched to me.

But it's an ever revolving world of time travel and researchers are constantly making research into this particular subject matter so i will at "never saying never".
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by oyaskii(m): 4:16pm On Jun 18, 2020
alexistaiwo:
Death is inconsequential and not final in the concept of time travel.

If I travel back to 1999, will I meet your younger self or your present self?
I know you will say your younger self because in that particular timeline, you are still young.

Now, why should Gamora not be alive in 2014 when she hasn't even experienced the events leading to her death in 2018?
This can go on and on bro, If she dies in 2018 within the present concept of time travel her 2014 self can't time jump to 2023 except they tell us it occurs in alternate timelines and realities and these interact....she has no future in 2023 if she dies in 2018.

Liposure:
if i could remember vividly. gamora died b4 the purge. Meaning she skipped the time travel border 2 reach the future
basically she's dead, she didn't skip..she time jump from 2014 to 2023 with 2014 Thanos and Nebula when she was already dead in 2018, only explanation i can phantom is there are different realities and time lines even this is convulated.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by oyaskii(m): 4:04pm On Jun 18, 2020
alexistaiwo:
Does the fact that Thanos sacrificed Gamora erase her from existence?

So what is stopping her from being alive in 2014 when she was sacrificed in 2018 ?

Since she is still alive in 2014, why can't she time jump from 2014 to 2023?
Here lies the problem... She's Dead (Current status) as per infinity war leading to endgame ultimately erasing her from the existence so her "2014" self which is the past should be dead as well...Time travel can't reverse death...making it impossible for her to do a time jump from 2014 to 2023 since she's dead in 2018.

If you think about it, it's kinda flawed.

They traveled back and got the stones, logically, by returning to their present with the stones the whole Thanus incident should never have happened because the stones wouldn't have existed in that timeline.

Also by returning the stones to the exact places they got them should have negated everything they did, because now Thanus could still get the stones; (I know he was snapped out of existence in the present, but he still exists in the past, so he will continue on his quest to save mankind).

Unless the snap also snapped him out of existence in the past, then we have a bigger problem, because they have now altered the course of history and broken the rule of time travel and that should have severe consequences.

You see, Endgame time travel theory was nothing short of underwhelming, basic and poorly carried out, and they even had the temerity to mock "back to the future's" version when their's wasn't any better.
Added to the whole hulabalu was the whole "Gamora" debacle, basic time travelling principle can't "reverse" death, she clearly dies after Thanos sacrifices her for the soul stone in the events of Infinity war in ,2018, but 2014 Gamora returning with Thanos and Nebula in 2023 to wage war against the avengers in Endgame simply doesn't add up.

alexistaiwo:
You said endgame threw caution to the wind?
For someone who claim to be well versed in the concept of time travel, how did the logic behind messing with time in endgame fly over your head?

Avengers Endgame has one of the most relatively plausible concept of time travel in Hollywood.
They didn't go back in time to change the present (hello, Xmen: days of the future past), they went back to retrieve the items used to disrupt their present, travel back to the present and use the items to restore the balance in their present (emphasis on this!) then travel back to the past to return the aforementioned items.

Hulk told war machine who suggested travelling back in time to kill baby Thanos that killing him won't change nothing because the present will only become their past and the future will be their present.
Meaning whatever they have to do, has to be done in the present.

Haven't seen any concept of time travel more straightforward than this and I have seen many.
Hello sir....where did i say " well versed in time travel"? and i did mention i might be right or wrong.

I still find their concept of time travel disturbing, and this was one of the main down point of Endgame that people spoke of and wrote series of articles about how the time travel logic was shady.

They went back in time to collect the items used in distrupting their present and used it to bring balance to their present, aren't you ultimately saying the same thing i said, "Doing something in the past to change the present or future or "bring balance like you said? The concept meant seem plausible to you but I don't buy it...great movie still btw.

Koicereloaded was an intelligent reviewer.

I remember discussing some science fiction movies with him.

Mekaprime is trying but he seems to be a low budget koicereloaded, no offense.

There are very few people here that I can discus the intricacies of time travel with on this thread.

Cant wait for TENET 2020 to come out. It is some kind of reverse time travel movie
Time travel is one fascinating topic. I have come to the conclusion that each "time travel" filmmaker though why adhering to the basic tenets of time travel, changes and modifies the concept as he or she seem fit and i think this is possible because time travel as of now is purely hypothetical...taking example from my recent time travel watch...Dark (German Series) and Avengers: End game.

Avengers:End game completely threw caution to the wind in their concept of time travel, I know to a certain degree you can't travel back in time to change the future you just came from without dire consequences (Ironman dieing from snapping that gauntlet was as a result of choice and not time travel)....i maybe right or wrong

"Dark"...i fully subscribe to the filmmakers school of thought about time travel..in the entire series thus far, no character who has travelled back in time has been able to change the present they just came from or the future thus far tho since the 3rd and final season is coming out on the 27th of June..some concepts in the series gave me cause to think....like "God is time, and Time is not merciful" and the day you are born is the day your time starts counting, and time won't wait, it goes on and on till the person dies, so finding a way to control time means literally having your own destiny in your hands, one can go back and forth and not be a slave to time, they also mentioned "bootstrap paradox" wherein nothing is really created, since the thing already exists in the future, things just arrive from the future to the past to become themselves ( this is so intricate and has many equations to support).

However, with Christopher Nolan not only a passionate filmmaker but also a very brilliant mind... I can't wait to see his concept of time travel in "TENET"

@ oyaskii, i know you must have read about Jeffrey Dahmer. Just like you said, making moves & documentaries about serial killers is such a bad idea. I can't believe the producer of this particular movie tried to elicit a sort of sympathy form the viewers for Jeffrey Dahmer.

After seeing his biopics & reading extensively about him, i haven't been myself all day.

And i was so rankled by the fact that after refusing a defense attorney, he later had one who defended him. After the display of evidence(severed body parts, human skulls, human body organs), someone in his right frame of mind, someone with a conscience, came forth to defend him.... good Lord.
I am telling you bro, dramatisation of deranged killers showing what led them to their killing spree is always going to elicit pity forgetting these people commit crimes that will make your stomach turn for days.

Jeffery Dahmer was a special breed of loco, his own excuse was "attention deficit" just imagine leading to borderline personality disorder. He not only killed, he also engaged in necrophilia and cannibalism, but in the eyes of the law, one must defend the accused no matter the crime...i think he was bludgeoned to death in prison by another prisoner who said "God told him to do it". smiley....Funny enough Jeffery Dahmer repented, baptised and became a born again Christian in Jail.
