PoliticsRe: "Cure your visible ignorance": INEC tells Nigerians abusing Yakubu by oyatz(m): 12:43am On Mar 03, 2024
CSTRR:
Evans Bipi, wike's former boy openly confessed about how they sold obi's votes to tinubu in Rivers State.

So you were saying what about propaganda?

Those votes you think tinubu got are tainted.

He's not that popular even with the ruling party behind him.
Any one can say whatever they like.

Peter Obi had over 8 months to prove in courts, the true votes he thought he received but alas, he never did anything close to it, rather he wasted everybody's time shoeing T.V evidence of Tinubu discussing about his running mate in Daura or INEC chairman granting interviews on Channels TV or demanding that Tinubu should be disqualified or that voters in the FCT were special or saying that Shettima was a Senator when he ran as Tinubu's running mate.

Peter Obi's Lawyers NEVER presented any alternative numbers of votes different from what INEC declared for each party

Yoruba people now care about Aba than even Aba people themselves, now they all have friends and family whom they call in Aba to discredit the 24/7 power in Aba
They are fighting nail and tooth to make sure it’s a lie,to them it should be Lagos,so they can add it as part of the blueprints/achievements of tinubu

Winchy winchy people
Don't bring Yorubas into the matter.
PoliticsRe: Electricity: Neimeth Plans To Move headquarters From Lagos To Aba by oyatz(m): 7:02am On Mar 02, 2024
lilfreezy:
Due to high cost of production because of lack of electricity, it is only sensible for industries to relocate their manufacturing base to Aba. Maxxis tyres has already acquired a location to build their production plant in Aba. More companies will move. If only Nigeria will restructure, you will see the true potential as states will be competing with each other.
What is the meaning of restructuring? The country is already being restructured gradually.
Now States can build their universities Airport, Seaports, Railways, Refineries, Electricity and the laws are being amended to allow Stztes be in-charge of their security through Police.
Talks are on-going to move Gas from exclusive list to concurrent list and with time, crude oil too will move to Concurrent list

On the day of the presidential election, a key technology just conveniently shut down.

In an election where the margin of victory was just a million.

In other countries, this is enough to cause a riot led by the candidates themselves.

Instead of Inec to thank their stars that Nigerians are docile morons, they are still arrogantly insulting the people.
You people strongly believe in propaganda .
APC= 8.7 million

PDP= 6.9 million

LP= 6.1 million.

NNPP= 1.4 million

How was the margin of victory just a million?

The APC won the election by receiving the highest votes and 25% in 29 States.
No other political party received one-quarter of the votes cast in 24 States.

Expect massive industrial activities, if the pricing is fair.

If it's not, then nothing much will change.

But then a cluster of fraudsters would move there to take advantage of the constant light.

The company in charge should also be ready to fight dirty if they want to remain afloat.
Anybody wey bypass meter, you touch am wire small or leave am for cell.
Can you tell us ,the reason for the movement of a 'cluster of fraudsters' there

It's not even a FG project.
It's a private one founded by Barth Nnaji.
It has many investors, none of which is FG or state government.

Of course, FG has to give you license to do it cos Aba has been cut off from the national grid

PoliticsRe: N5.108trn In 8 Months: Hardship Unabated In States Despite Huge Allocations by oyatz(m): 4:16pm On Feb 26, 2024
NairalandForumo:
The increase in allocation doesn't really change much, I know some people will want to argue, but look at it like this, Nigeria placed a budget about 28trillion when the dollar was about 800naira.

Today the dollar is 1600, that means the value of that 28 trillion is half, what it means is that Nigeria might need 56 trillion naira to do what the 28 trillion could do at the time of the budget, then when you also add their normal corruption to it what will be left, so increase in state budget might not change much especially when the rate of inflation is faster than the increased allocations....
Allocations received by the States have increased by 60% but their wage bills have not increased ,in fact some States are still not paying 30,000 minimum wage, so where is the money going to sir?

Do you know what #20 Billion can do in the economy of Abia, Taraba, Osun or Jigawa States?
PoliticsRe: CBN Plans To Limit Buying And Selling Of FOREX In Cash By BSCs To $500 by oyatz(m): 12:00am On Feb 26, 2024
plaetton:
Another nonsensical ad hoc policy dead on arrival.
I still fail to understand how restricting the availability of forex would help the Naira.
Nigeria is heavily dependent on imported goods, from toothpick to the very fuel we use to run our generator-economy. Therefore, forex would always be in great demand. If the supply is disrupted by ill-conceived ad hoc policies, the value of the available forex would always go up and up.
You are mixing issues up.
This policy is to regulate the BDC ,not to restrict FOREX.

You don need to touch dollars in cash for you to do Import business.

Nigeria is NOT the only country in West Africa with high importation yet we don't see their economy highly dollarized like this.

In other countries, to get above $100, they will request for your international passport and you won't see private citizens in Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana or Mali holding $1000 cash.

What is presently happening in Nigeria is that some elites have somehow created a parallel currency within Nigeria called the DOLLAR with a competing and opposing values to the Naira within the economy

Nigeria is a developing country and the problems of Nigeria goes beyond the leaders but a summation of all actions and in-actions of all the people in Nigeria.

Should have at least a seaport. Why is it so difficult for your darling country Nigeria to do that?

So Buhari closed the borders so as to punish the SE which doesn't have borders but you are now shifting the goal post that SE which doesn't border any sea should have a Seaport?

Please, is Nigeria winning or loosing? Is life better today or worst. Lol! I don't want any Igbo, especially Obi to contest any election again in Nigeria. Let Nigeria sink let every region manage itself. While you or fulani continue to win, Nigeria and Nigerians continue to loose. I am enjoying it haha
Nigeria is winning.

This doesn't mean there are no problems, but Nigeria is on the right path.

With amendments of the constitution and other relevant laws, State Police will be established for each State to protect itself.

The initial negative effects of the economic reforms will be tackled and with time, more Nigerians will go into the EXPORT sector which will increase productivity.

Your negativities are Yours and not for everybody.

Senseless people.

According to you senseless Nigerians from Southwest, how to play good politics is by remaining stupidly silent while a President destroys Nigeria.

Because Igbos refused to support Buhari and kept on criticizing Buhari's 8 years of failure as a President while the Yorubas remained silent even when Buhari's foolishness led to killing of Yorubas living in remote communities by Fulani herdsmen terrorists that is why Igbos didn't play good politics?

Igbos will only play good politics it they had looked the other way while Buhari destroyed Nigeria through appointing incompetent people from his tribe and religion. Just sit back and think of what you call how to play politics.

It is Yoruba peoples habit of playing idoncare politics of keeping quiet while useless Northern politicians plunged Nigeria into perpetual mess that led Nigeria where it is today.
Why do you think enmity and hostilities towards the Yorubas is the best path to your victory?

Leave the SW, try to win in the remaining 5 Geopolitical zones and you will be victorious.

Peter Obi received 19% of the votes in the SW.

You still have the same preelection mindset of rejecting the competent medical doctor who didn't wrong you and going for a quack doctor because the relatives and friends of the competent doctor don't relate well with you. That means your biase matters to you than your being alive.
Whatever obidients do or say is not new in Nigerian political history. Have we forgotten that the supporters of APC, former president Buhari and the incumbent president Tinubu did same or worse to president Jonathan yet they came to power and we have seen the results.
I'm yet to hear anyone say Peter Obi insulted them. All I read is obidients said this, obidients did that.
What if some of these faceless 'obidients' are actually planted by Peter Obi's opponents and Igbo haters to make you continue to reject the right candidate who can salvage this country from its current mess?
Please let's think about it.
God bless Nigeria.
Peter Obi's so called competence is NOT backed by any track record of achievements in his 8 years administration of Anambra State and many people who were criticising and cursing him for poor performance in Anambra State are now leading members of the Obidients, who have now elevated him to the status of the awaiting Messiah who has the magic wand to solve all problems in Nigeria
PoliticsRe: Nigerians, Can We Please Listen To The Igbos? by oyatz(m): 12:24pm On Feb 23, 2024
nlreserve:
You are very correct 💯. You have just stated the reason Nigeria can never get better. Nigeria can never get better because yoruba and Hausa consider relationships and sentiments when voting. As you have stated here. It's a simple truth. How can u choose to vote against someone because you don't like his followers? Are u voting competence or sentiments? This also happens during appointments. They appoint based on relationships and sentiments and at the end of the day, Nigeria continues to go down because they will be doing trial and error while the masses suffer the consequences. Nigeria will surely collapse one day, hopefully and everyone will fight for his region's control as the centre cannot manage them.

And it's a thing of joy for me to know that the generator republic is going down because I'm not proud of it. That's why we continue to pray for our Biafra to stand by God's grace.
So only Igbos gave Peter Obi the 6.1 million votes?

If Nigerians didn't vote for Peter Obi because he is Igbo, he wouldn't have been able to win in Lagos, Plateau or Edo States which are not Igbo States.

In Oyo State, many young people and Pentecostal Christians in SW Capital cities voted for Peter Obi but what they they get in return? Hatred, insults, curses.

Peter Obi won in virtually all the Polling units inside RCCG Redemption Camp but Obidients have consistently disrespected and denigrated Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the church and always ridicule the RCCG daily on Social Media.

Nwanne can you reason like a homosapien? What are the rules of the game? Beating and maiming people at the polls? Rigging? Killing over ballot boxes? looting? Making your girlfriend or fellow lotter CBN or finance minister?

So Igbos should learn that stupidity? Igbos are trying to do things like normal members of the human species and you think they are stupid because they don't want to do politics like a pack of gorillas. If somebody is making sense, and sensible people follow them, Nigeria will improve. Tinubu got on stage and licked a microphone unprovoked. Are those the rules? When you and others were supporting him as he walked around the country urine soaked, rigging, licking microphone, forging certificate, promising corn and agbado, did you think that he will bring pride to Yorubas once he wins?

Now Yorubas are the laughing stock of Africa. Look at Afcon, every country used your brother to insult Nigerians as a whole. Now everyone online is yabbing Northerners and Yorubas because of him. So if 'na my brother' was supposed to be a flex, is this flexing?

If somebody is making sense, you support them. That is all Igbos do. Igbos supported Jonathan, Yar Adua, Obasanjo and Obi. They have rejected BUhari and Tinubu. Buhari did not hide his stupidity. Tinubu did not hide his stupidity. But some of you still followed because you're stupid like them. Just follow normal people and you will have a normal life. Follow stupid people and have a stupid life.
Leave Yorubas (whom you have persistly demonized eventhough, a substantial number of them supported Peter Obi) and focus on convincing the remain 299 tribes in Nigeria.

My piece is directed to Igbo haters.
Would they rather prefer that Nigeria goes to the dogs than have a credible, competent and capable Igbo become president?
Why didn't Atiku win the 2023 presidential election? Why didn't Buhari win in 2003, 2007 and 2011? Could all these be due to hatred for the Fulanis?

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi's Statement On The Arrest Of Julius Abure by oyatz(m): 12:01pm On Feb 23, 2024
Ofunaofu:
While I am not holding a brief for the national chairman of LP, why arrest and humiliate him in such a manner over some trump-up charges? Moreover, the current national chairman of APC was caught on camera stuffing his babariga with dollars, which are proceeds of bribery and corruption, when he was governor of Kano State, and today he is walking free.
There was a petition (against Abure) of attempted murder of the Youth Leader of the Labour Party, Com Anslem Eragbe.
When the Abure Faction/The Obidients were beating up Pa Lamidi Apapa and attempted to lynch Anslem , Peter Obi didn't say anything and his supporters hailed the criminal actions.

Relax bro, all the problems in Nigeria will disappear by 2027 when Peter Obi regain his mandate.

I was once a farmer, not all farmers benefit from subsidised fertilisers and Agric loans or whatever. Only very few farns owned by retired Generals, top Gov't officials enjoy such benefits.
