thesicilian: Coming from the owner of a private airline, sounds a bit selfish to me. We all know that public owned organisations are more affordable for the masses than private which are more profit oriented. What we should be focusing on is accountability and maintenance, not pumping subsidies into private companies At what cost to Government coffer? |

Padipadi: Atiku's a learner. Na now u know say PDP is toothless. Same oriburuku mistake Atiku and Obi made was what Ajaka and Dino made against Ododo of Kogi. Now, the merger that's needed should be a genuine one. Not a deceitful one like APC of 2014. Obo shi n ta Nigeria di isinyin from dido APC. Ki party kankan mawa dowa mo! You are a corrupt guy! |

I've said this countless time
This is why I was so happy when Dino loss the election and atiku also failed woefully during 2023 general election
If they allowed GEJ finished second term, atiku will be doing second term now as long as he performed during his first term The nature of Nigerian Politics make it difficult for one party or ethnic group to rule for a very long time. The PDP couldn't have been ruling for 24 years. |

tesppidd: First step for PDP is to get rid of Wike and anyone playing anti party at this point.
Second step is for Atiku to commit to allowing other members breathe and not contest for the presidency any more. He should rather mentor the party and give financial, moral and any form of backing to the party. We need Peter Obi on the ballot in 2027 to do the Lord's work again. |

ValarDoharis: Atiku, Saraki, Amaechi, Dino leaving the PDP in 2014 led us to this path. If they were patient, Atiku would be doing his second term. Atiku made a terrible mistake for not supporting GEJ second term.
Way forward now is to remove the criminal drug baron and certificate forger from Aso Rock The way forward is to build the Labour Party into a formidable national party that can win presidential election. |

If you have lived in the North and study the environment well, you will understand that millions of Northerners engage in Agriculture producing tonnes of Onions, Tomatoes, Pepper, Beans, Rice, Millets, Corns, Ginger, Cotton, Groundnuts and they also rear Animals like Cattles, Goats, Sheep's, Camels, Donkeys etc.
All these aren't directly affected by exchange rates or fuel pump and they hold the aces , because they will simply increase their selling prices if things are expensive. |

Everyone is now looking for an alternative. PMB brought Nigerians to this hardship and BAT is also in rush to removed subsidy. I pray God turn things around for good in this country. But seriously people are suffering. Actually, this is an opportunity for Nigeria to develop. We have the capacity to feed our teeming population and even export to other countries. We need to invest in commercial production of Cassava, Corn, Potatoes and processing of these foods items into many varieties of food items. . Substantial parts of these crops will also go into feeds productions for Animal Feeds to meet our protein needs. Instead of seeing problems, we should see the economic opportunities. |

LikeAking: Naira traded at 1 Naira to $1, when Nigeria was literally manufacturing nothing..
This import narrative is just lies and decit.. Many of you probably think Governments just print money. In reality, paper currencies are like RECEIPTS of certain goods (initially, gold and other precious metals, then later volume of Foreign Reserves). Historically, what we call paper currencies were receipts ,issued by Goldsmiths to people who deposited their golds in the strongrooms (which were secured by hefty armed men) of these Goldsmiths. With time, people started using these receipts , rather than the actual golds to trade, such that the receipts became the precursors of paper currencies and the strong-rooms of the Royal Gold reserve became the Central Banks. You don't understand the concept. At inception in 1973, currencies we're backed by 'Gold standards' . The USA dropped the Gold standards in 1973 and the UK did similar thing around 1979. Try to read about these before commenting on issues you clearly don't understand. |
