Why not business of beer and cigarettes? DrHoganObi: 80% of Nigerian ladies are prostitutes but just about 20% have left their houses to be staying in whorehouse or brothels. I will advice u don't quit. Reason, it's her trade and her profession. by marrying her, you've only withdrawn her license but you can't completely take her off the trade. What you do is talk to her, let her know that for the sake of the child she needs to curtail her excesses. Up your game in providing for the family. Giving her 500 to cool is nonsense a meal costs me a single dude like 2k. Let her see actions that truly u want to do anything that will make her stop. Help her start a business but not selling beer and cigarette but stuff like foodstuffs. |

Obviously you didn't understand the post. The guy didn't say meeting Tinubu is all you need to be a Governor...but if you want to be a Governor you will need to meet leaders of thought, leaders of political parties, traditional rulers, religious, Women and youth leaders. All over the democratic world, you need to meet those who are influencial (e.g Tinubu/Buhari/Oshiomole in APC and in some States) to swing the support of the people to your side. Seyi Makinde met and made deals with several political gladiators in Oyo State like Ladoja, Hosea Agboola, Oyebisi Ilaka, Afeez Gbooarumi etc. OBAGADAFFI: Did Makinde meet Tinubu to be Governor on Oyo State?

Eeyah see how frustrations has caused bitterness induced Tribalism in this soul. These are just politicians who belonged to or supported different political parties, which is just human nature and has nothing to do with tribes. Obasanjo was never a politician during the era Awolowo's political sojourn let alone be in Awolowo's political family. Betrayal only comes into play when two people or more people have agreed on a mission and one of the parties renaged on the agreement. In a Democracy, members of the same tribe or even family may belong to different families or not support the same political aspiration but the But the bitterness induced Tribalism in your soul has affected the ways you reason. selemempe: They are already fighting themselves ahead of their 2023 presidency. Whether there is hope for me or not is beyond your grasp. Tinubu is just a private citizen like you and I. He is not holding any Political post but he is influential. Prophet Samuel in the Bible was neither a Warlord nor a king. He was just a private Citizen but he was influential. Attacking the Yoruba people because Tinubu is politically influential without looking inwards to your State is a glaring manifestation of Tribalism. MrColdsweat: That is why I said you Nigerians don't have sense.
I said Nigerians as a whole are ignorant of various vices and balancing techniques of a democratic government and you're attacking my state. Who arguing about States with you?
Tribalism sits on your reasoning. There's no hope for you. |

The OP only sees problems (largely due to his tribalism) without seeing the great solutions.
Anambra and Ebonyi are going to commercial rice farming. In the 1980s in the present Osun State, only the elite families ate imported rice, the majority of the population ate rice locally produced within the State. Why can't Osun repeat the feat with improved rice seeds, commercial and sophisticated Agricultural practice?
Ofada is a Town in Ogun State known for rice farming and their local rice is known and consumed all over the S/West but this burgeoning rice industry became comatose with the Advent of mass rice importation during the military rule. |

The PDP is NOT likeky to win the 2023 Election and find Atiku in 2023 will be a very great mistake for the party. The PDP should do a thorough soul searching, depart from the past and look for sellable candidate with age, competence, exposure and track record of achievements on his side. Oblongata: sir! Correct me if I am wrong but
The permutations of parties differ!
While APC might decide to field another zone (maybe South), PDP can hold claims that they fielded a Southerner last, and they need a northerner now.
If APC fields any person not from the north against Atiku, they would lose.
So we might see a northerner vs northerner
Mind you sir, I am not in support of any of the parties or their clueless members because they all lack ideologies |

Don't mind them. Such things don't appeal to me at all. I don't fear corpses or dead people, even in my dream. #Let me tell you a personal story. Around Aug,2011 I was working in Accident and Emergency section. On a particular night I was over worked, then as we were about to sleep around 11:30pm, a patient was rushed into the A&E section and he was comatose, before 2mins thereafter he was dead. He was a local Traditional ruler (Baale) and I just certified him dead and wrote that he be moved to the morgue. Around 12 midnight as I was lying on bed very tired,I just fell into trance and I saw the dead man very vividly in the trance complaining bitterly about being forced to the afterlife unprepared. Immediately I frawned and told him frankly that he was already dead before being brought to the hospital and that I tried my best to resuscitate him but he wasn't impressed and he moved further towards me. I summoned all the courage in me, reached out for a nearby plank and hit him several times like South African xenophobic attackers, he screamed and was running away. I pursued him with my plank in hand, as I was about to catch up with him and hit him hardest, I just hit my hand against a wall beside the bed in the call room and I woke up terrified. I consoled myself that I didn't do anything that affected his death and I defended myself when he wanted to attack me. (I beat the hell out of his ghost) TONYE001: Absolute rubbish. A baseless story. These are the kind of stories that discourage our children from reading, exploring and turning out as scientists in the future. Baseless fear of nonexistent concepts. Africa!
I've been with dead bodies. I've dissected quite a couple if them. Sometimes, I've been with them alone in the dissecting room, studying them.
I've been in the mortuary. Alone, reading. I've seen patients die right in front of me. And all these years, why haven't I experienced any supernatural incident?
Can we stop propelling stupid stories like this and pay more attention on things that are educating? This is why we are where we are.
A dead man is a dead man. Nothing but a log. Can't wake up, can't move. Stop spreading lies, please.
This is not an attack to your person. Just to the story.
Africans, Nigerians, READ, STUDY. Watch educating programs...not all these juju nonsense Nigerian movies. READ SCIENCE. READ MEDICINE. READ THINGS.

You are 100% right. Every ethnic group reserve the right to determine whether to continue with Nigeria or opt out. This can be done in 3 ways 1) The Military option: it was tried in 1967-1970 with devastating consequences that still reverberate till today. 2) The political option: this will require reaching an agreement with the other ethnic groups in Nigeria 3) A mixture of the first two options: after 20-30 years of civil war, both sides become tired and agree to 'peacefully' separate e.g South Sudan and Eritrean secessions. Nnamdi Kanu is not doing anything sincerely in any of the three options. selemempe: so since we are not conservative like them why remain with them in the same country? Most supporters of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu can NOT understand this your analysis. wirinet: First of all, Biafra is a very nebulous term. The geographical boundaries and people is not defined.
Secondly, political, social and economical freedom is not an ideology. Secession is not an ideology.
Thirdly, it's not possible for all Biafrans to be politically, socially and economically free. Millions of Biafrans in foreign lands will have to abide by the political, social and economic laws of wherever they resides, except you suggest all Biafrans should relocate home.
Lastly, Total political, social and economical freedom is a state of anarchy. It doesn’t exist. |

It was only granted an official status as a State/Federating unit in 1987. 2) Katsina State inherited all the assests of the Old Katsina Province, including Buhari's old secondary School, Katsina Pronvicial College which has now been renamed Katsina State Government College. 3) Accordingly, Katsina State Ministry of Education as the most appropriate Government agency regulating Buhari's old secondary School is in an appropriate position to publish records from the school, including the result sheet for the 1961 Cambridge/WASC exam. Fatima's Husband, Idris Ajimobi, the son of former governor of Oyo state Abiola Ajimobi shared the news on his Instagram page thus:
"Fatima Abiola-Ajimobi, i don’t know if you still believe me because I say it so often, you’re an extraordinary young woman. I have watched you struggle when you were at your lowest and noticed how you never lost faith and, ’you walk confidently in the direction of your dreams...’, the mantra you live by.
I remember when I first met you and all you talked about was your humanitarian work through your NGO @letstalkhumanity. Your goal is and has always been to see the Nigerian child happy and thriving at their full potential. That’s your goal. You dreamt it and you strive hard to achieve it. I mean you run an e-learning center for the disabled students at the Tudun Maliki Special School in Kano. Visually and hearing impaired students learning through technology! If this isn’t love then I don’t know what is.
Everyone falls but the magic with you is that you bounce back every time, stronger, more fierce, more determined. You learn always!
You respond with love when you are dealt with hate, you choose good every time even when it’s not deserved.
My prayer for you, my wife, is that your courage never ceases and your light never dims.
At such a young age, I am privileged to congratulate you on your appointment as the Special Assistant on NGOs and Civil Society to the Speaker of the National House of Representatives. Soldier on comrade!"
